“It ended up being a late lunch with the wife. We decided to try out a new spot. It was a bit later in the day. The food was served perfectly as we requested for a few small modifications. The service was solid. We felt the price was great. If you are looking for a small town vibe with a small town restaurant then this is the place that you need to be!!“

“They're so friendly and the food is on point. Everything we've had here is great from the udon, chicken katsu, and sushi. Definitely the best in Galt, and much better than most of the Japanese restaurants in Lodi and Elkgrove. I wish the prices were a little less or the rolls a little larger, but overall a very good place for delicious food.“

“Cozy, little spot nestled in nice quaint quiet side of Lodi. Food was absolutely amazing. We had Spicy Red Dragon Rolls, Spicy Salmon Roll, Edemame, and Seaweed Salad with Ice tea, and hot green tea. My favorite was hands down the Spicy Red Dragon Roll, ended up ordering a second roll. Staff was kind and food was out quit quickly. Great place, come support this long-term local business. Sorry, no pics next time.“

“I love that wide open area, the chill vibe and nice chef, plus we got put at a table with two attractive young women who i dont know and they still joined in on singing for my birthday! See, I've been told by an esquire, that when you budget, you pay yourself first, before the other required expenses. Sooooo, I pay myself with sushi sometimes. This is acceptable, yeah, cuz either I try to save $25, which would eventually get spent anyway, or use it on something valuable.

The value of sushi or sashimi with vegetables, is that it contains your alphabet Vitamins A, B, C, and D; plus, the greatly beneficial Omega-3. In addition to those benefits, getting a bento box combo with chicken gives you more protein for building muscle. This array of vitamins and protein sources provides satiety. It's an ideal meal for gym goers and maybe health enthusiasts; or like me a part-time dog walker.

Alright, now that you've heard me out and possibly have known all this before, then, yeah have brunch, lunch, or dinner here at Matsuyama. They're conveniently located around the corner from the gym. Perfect for you! ...and also, it beats having to look for a different parking space. Just walk, you know. The shopping plaza has a great coffee shop too.

Once they open, it's nice and quiet so you get fast service with individualized attention. They're calm and check on you frequently enough. Simple conversation, and a peaceful meal; peaceful like it would be on a pine mountain (Matsuyama).“

“Really good Sushi here. Enjoyed my Chef's Choice & Rainbow Roll quite a bit. Wife enjoyed both of her rolls and the kid loved the Tofu Bento Box. We also had the gyoza which was well made a crispy and the Spicy Garlic Edamame, which was excellent. Beer choices were decent, price was fair (though they should probably fix the menu prices in a few spots.“

“We love going to Lou's chicken. They always have a variety of hot delicious food. Their chicken is tender and juicy. The guys like the beef. The egg rolls are hot and crispy. A great snack my gkids said. I usually get chicken teriyaki bowl. The family gets combo plates. The vegetables are perfect and so is the rice. You have to check this place out! Great prices too“
