Tucked away in a modest shopping center that also boasts a superb shawarma joint, this place is a hidden treasure. The tandoori chicken and dal makhani I savored transported my taste buds straight to the streets of Delhi with their authentic, extraordinary flavors. The lacha paratha? Simply genius. Service was extraordinary, matched by the unique touch of serving drinks in metal, regal glasses that elevate the dining experience to one of noble indulgence. Having the pleasure of meeting both owners, their dedication was evident in every aspect. I ordered 24 pieces of the legs and thighs.
I wanted to order all legs. But unfortunately not possible.
The chicken tasted really good and crispy.
Though my family prefer the legs more, so ended with lots of thighs leftovers, but all the chicken legs were gone.
I wish they'd allow the option of just chicken legs like Popeyes. I'd come back more if there's that option.“

“first time. lovely experience. everything was very good, but not extraordinary. the avocado toast was pretty bland, couldn’t taste the avocado or cream cheese. the turkish coffee was a surprise - i don’t usually drink black coffee unless it’s very good coffee, this one i could drink it black. loved the candy that came with the coffee. service was basic, more like neighborhood family restaurant style, and they both were on the quiet side. the decor was nice and chic, not so fancy. the place was clean and quiet. overall, it’s good but on the pricier end.“

“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. See you soon! Can’t wait for the most delicious Bosnian food on the west side of the United States.“

“I was there in California from another state. We ordered jalapeños beef burgers, halwa puri platters, beef seekh kabobs with rice platter, masala fries, mango lassi and sweet lassi. Each and every single food item was fresh and hot, seekh kabobs were so juicy and perfect flavor, cholay were soft and with some light gravy to eat with puri. Aalo were soft yet some small size chunks in plate with light gravy, and halwa that you just don’t want to stop eating. My kids are very picky eaters but they loved each and every single thing we ordered from this restaurant. Beef burger was so yummy that my daughter kept ordering the next time we went there again. We ended up going 3 times in our 1 week trip. We tried their fried chicken the third day, oh my gosh it’s just one of the best fried chicken ever. We were so glad that we were able to find a halal restaurant with all the choices at one place for our kids and adults. Last but not the least, their prices were very reasonable and the staff was very nice and friendly.“

The food and service are excellent in every sense of the word. The bread and baklava were made fresh! The Turkish Delights were phenomenal. The owner and staff went to great lengths to make us feel comfortable and welcome, explaining the menu items in detail. We are so excited to have come across this gem!!! It is the type of culinary and cultural experience that my husband and I treasure. We will be coming again soon, both with and without friends! I cannot say enough good things about Ikram Grill. The food was absolutely perfect — clean, delicious, well-prepared, and served warm just the way it should be. Every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care and pride. The portions were incredibly generous; there was so much food that we happily took some home with us, and it was just as good later.

The service was beyond perfection. Truly outstanding. The employees were attentive, kind, professional, and welcoming from start to finish. They made us feel genuinely taken care of, not rushed, not overlooked — just appreciated as customers. Anything you could possibly want from an eatery or restaurant, Ikram Grill had it to offer.

This kind of work is not easy. It’s hard work, demanding work, and yet they make it look effortless.
