“Great food, helpful staff, and a pleasant interior make this one of my favorite places in the city. I came here to celebrate my birthday today, brought friends from Garden Grove who were visiting, and went on a date that ended up being the last one. I was highly suggested it, and now I am telling people about it!“

“Pho 45: Fast, Friendly, and Delicious
Pho 45 in Garden Grove is a gem for Vietnamese food lovers. The service is incredibly quick, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the pho is absolutely delicious. With its flavorful broth, tender meat, and fresh herbs, it's a must-try for anyone in the area.“

“Owner boss lady was so lovely and helpful. She came out and explained all the food and how to eat for my non Korean fam. Gave the touch that only an owner operator can.
Jokbal was perfectly cooked, clean and delicious. The hardest part of making this dish is getting out the sometimes overpowering porky flavor that can come with pigs feet. Nailed it!
Same thing with the bo ssam. The meat was tender, cabbage quick salt pickled to perfection. Soondae was also splendid. Soft and chewy without the grit. All the banchan had that 손맛 like your momma made it. Kiss my teeth, delicious.
Wonder why they don't have a full service restaurant, the food certainly is worthy of more than a food hall at Hmart. Next time I have a gathering I know where I'm going.“

“The inside looks like a typical American Korean restaurant, but I can understand why the restaurant is called Gamjatang. Two men added kalguksu noodles to the gamjatang casserole. The noodles were chewy, the broth was delicious, there was a lot of meat, and it was soft and not fishy. It just tastes the same as what I had in Korea. They generously gave us perilla leaves and if you want to eat gamjatang, you can come here.“

“I like the big portion of this restaurant. I went 2 people so we ordered 2 dishes. We tried: 1. Pork Back Bone Stew: very huge portion. The meat is soft and you can feel the broth has been well cooked that gives you the sweet and rich taste. 2. Stir Fried Squid (because I love squid!): very good. This dish can be eaten with rice (if you want to be full) or will paired good with a taste of Soju. The portions are big so don't over ordering or you will have some food to go. The food is a little plaint and there's salt to add (if you are a salty food fan) to assure you don't leave the broth behind. You will feel healthy as you leave the place. Will be great to have for hangover or when you are sick. I went on a weekend night for dinner and the restaurant was a little quiet. I think this place is most suitable for lunch. I would definitely come back to try their other stews and pork belly!“

“Omg this is my new favorite spot for Hu tieu nam vang! I got the dry version with rice noodles which came it to around $15. It was soo delicious and perfectly balanced. The sauce brings the whole dish together and love the pickled garlic! Broth was so good and comforting. The gentlemen taking our order was so friendly and upbeat. Definitely recommend!!“

“So..embarrassingly enough I used to watch strictly dumbling on youtube and saw this place, and thought why not try it. I did and for real it is so good I'm someone who don't mind both dry or soup versions. This place have the hands that make both tastes so delicious coming from someone who ate phuong, dry kitchen, ca can, grandpa's dry kitchen, and etc.“

“I have eaten here a few times and the food is honestly not bad. None of the dishes is the best around here, for example Pho Good across the street has better pho though Pho Hoan is still 2nd among the places I've eaten, one exception is pho satay since not many places sell it. Its advantage is that every dish is decent so you have a good variety to choose from.“

“I visited during lunch time and had spicy pork combo (about $20), and the portion is great! My husband ordered a cold noodle(물냉면) & dumpling combo (about $25). Spicy pork was a bit salty for me, but i assume most people would like it (as i prefer to make my own food less salty and greasy at home.) Overall it was great. Love their dumpling, and cold noodles. I wish they offer mode side dishes though. They only have two kinds of kimchi (배추김치 & 깍두기) and steamed cabbage.“

“This is a hole in the wall and mom and pop all in one place of your looking for bánh cuốn. The service is like when your loving aunt tells you what she’s going to make for you to eat. So honestly you really wouldn’t have to look at the menu. ? the soups dishes are good too.“

“The food was good, and they have special of buy 2 get 1 free right now so if anyone is on a tight budget during these times, great place to give it a try. One thing though, they have a credit card machine but only want cash so that’s a turn off for me.“

“This is hands-down by far the best pho I’d ever had in my life. I’ve been to more then 20 pho restaurants in LA area and this place beats them all. It’s hard for me to give 5 star to a place and this is definitely the place deserves it. The soup tastes outstandingly good. I will dine in next time😂“

“This is the best korean hot pot place that I have been. We order the beef rib and octopus hot pot. The broth was so flavourful. It is so much better to eat with ramen. I would recommend the fried rice which they will mix with the broth and cook it on the pot after you’re done eating. The cons are that the restaurant is small and always crowded, so the wait is long. The price is on the higher side, especially if you go with 2 people. Would recommend go in with a big group and share the hot pot.“

“Food is always amazing here. My family only comes here for Korean BBQ. There are hundreds of other options nearby but you just can't beat the quality of the meat and the service. There's a reason why a line is formed before they open... especially on weekends.“
