“Hidden gem for Thai food. The quiet and nondescript building doesn't bear witness to the quality of food served.
Very genuine food and polite servers who aim to please.
We shared the Pad See-Ew with Pork and Yellow Curry with Chicken and rice. We also ordered the rare Mango Sticky Rice.
This is highly recommended but save room for dessert. The meals are hearty and the mango and sticky rice are plentious.
Service is excellent and helpful.

“Just realized after the fact that this is a local Japanese ramen chain, I haven’t been to Hokkaido so I can’t comment on the authenticity but it’s a pretty good bowl of ramen. I got the D set (shio) and it came with a side of chahan. Very filling and very tasty, the staff was great too.“

“I’ve tried both the dry and soup versions of the hu tieu here, and I enjoyed both. Each bowl comes with plenty of toppings like shrimp, pork , ground pork, fish cake, and quail eggs. You can also choose different types of noodles. The broth is light but flavorful, and if you order the dry version, the soup comes on the side.
The prices are very reasonable, and I think it’s a great value for what you get.
The restaurant is pretty small with only a few tables, but I’ve always been able to find parking even though the parking lot looks limited.
The only downside for me is the business hours. They close at 4:00 PM, which is just too early. I often get off work and want to stop by for dinner, but they’re already closed. Maybe they’re mainly focused on the lunch crowd, but hu tieu is something people enjoy any time of the day. I really wish they stayed open later.“

I was so angry so I called the owner, they explained to me the crispy tofu soaked with 卤汁 sauce will make the tofu looks like it’s not fresh… I didn’t believe him at first then I poked the black dots and they were really small pockets of sauce…. I don’t think they deserve a 3 star!!! It’s actually really yummy and taste fresh… I often crave this place. Also today when I ordered, I noticed they changed their tofu type and added more bok choy. “The Pad See Ew here is EXACTLY what I want and expect when I order one. The noodles have a nice chew, there was a little char on everything including the vegetables, it was perfect. Usually when you get pad see ew, a good indicator that it’s going to be flavorful is the color of the noodles. Pale tan? No flavor. A nice rich brown like the ones in the picture here? Delicious. My bf and I also got a Pad Thai (not pictured), a Panang Curry, and finished with Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Everything was so good, I think this is my new favorite Thai food place.“

You look for a place that feels a bit tucked away, cozy, and smells instantly like caramelized soy, rendered fat, and sweet wood charcoal the second you open the door.

You start with the yukke—the raw beef tartare. In lesser hands, raw beef can be a texture game with no payoff. Here? It’s seasoned with precision, rich, clean, and spiked with an egg yolk that ties the whole beautiful mess together. It’s a declaration of intent: we know meat, and we know how to treat it.

Then, the main event. Plates of A5 Wagyu, Kobe outside skirt, and prime beef tongue arrive, sliced with the kind of geometric reverence usually reserved for fine tailoring. The marbling on the Wagyu doesn't even look real; it looks like a geological map of some frozen, beautiful landscape.
