I was so angry so I called the owner, they explained to me the crispy tofu soaked with 卤汁 sauce will make the tofu looks like it’s not fresh… I didn’t believe him at first then I poked the black dots and they were really small pockets of sauce…. I don’t think they deserve a 3 star!!! It’s actually really yummy and taste fresh… I often crave this place. Also today when I ordered, I noticed they changed their tofu type and added more bok choy. Thanks for improving and maintaining a good quality!“

“This is a great place to go for amazing Pho. I have visited over 10 places with Vietnamese food. This place is definitely one of the best. Very nice casual dining place in a shopping center right across from Stater Bros on the corner of Edinger and DiFairview. Love the Chicken Bowl with noodles and a crispy egg roll in the bowl. The vegetables and broth blend so well. The prices are very good. They even offer a Senior Discount. Try this place you will be pleased.“

“This place has my favorite chicken dishes. When I’m feeling like I need something with broth, I’m going for the pho ga. When I’m feeling for some rice, I pick the com ga chien ( fried chicken rice). “Excellent Hu Tieu My Tho soup! We ordered it (kho) dry with the chicken broth and red sauce in the side. This is our new favorite restaurant for Hu Tieu My Tho. The owner is very friendly and eager to get you whatever you need to make you happy. They also have excellent Cafe Sua Da, very creamy and not watered down or bitter. We will definitely come back everytime we are in town.“

We tried the Crunchy Egg Rolls, which was made fresh, hot, and crispy!
The Nem Nuong Roll was delicious!
We were lucky to try a free sample of his Wonton as they sold out of it.
The Green Thai Tea was refreshing as well! My kids can't wait to come back to eat everything again!

Next time, I will try the Banh Canh Noodle Soup, I saw someone ordered it and the seafood were all individually packed for freshness!

The broth was really good; super proper, not overwhelming in any way, but extremely pleasant and enjoyable. I could not detect any MSG. The portion of rare beef with one of the bowls of pho was HUGE. Super fresh and lean thin slices. The noodles were also really good, only moistened enough to stay al-dente when in the hot soup. My daughter also loved her grilled chicken pho. All in all, this was a very enjoyable bowl of soup. Super proper, I would highly recommend.“

“I have been going to Thai Pepper for decades now. There food is always just spot on and the lunch special of $9.95 is a great deal. You get an entree in which I always get The Mint Leaves Chicken, fried rice, two fried wontons and a salad. My only suggestion would be to put the salad in a separate little box so it does not get hot next to the hot food. Other than that the food is excellent and great prices. You can get it mild to very hot on the spice! I stick with mild and my friend always gets the level 10 hot, hot, 🔥🥵 HOT. I would die, but different strokes for different folks.👍🤤🎉“

Our orders came out pretty quickly and portions were a bit disappointing if you order it dry style with a side of soup.
I wish there were a bit more noodles for the Large portion that I ordered. Maybe if I ordered it as a noodle soup, it might have been better. Will have to return to try it again in that option.

“Love visiting dPot unlimited when we are craving hot pot. They offer a great variety of broths, meats, appetizers and meat steamers (which consist of a square steamer basket filled with napa cabbage and choice of meat). The staff is always very attentive and the bar area is always fully stocked with sauces/condiments to prepare your dipping sauce, veggies, seafood and noodles. On top of the bar, they offer different types of packaged ramen. At the end of the meal, they offer a small cup of their delicious fruity slushie, which is very good to clean your palette and complete your meal.“

First off I was surprised that we were welcomed at 10pm on a Friday night, it was a bit bright, but the table was nice and it wasn't crowded but there was a few full tables and a rather loud large party close by. Our server was attentive and friendly, we ordered wine and chose our entrees. I asked for the salad dressing on the side, I find they drown the salad otherwise.
