“I really can't say enough about how good Kashiwa Ramen is; I love it so much I've eaten here several times in the last two weeks. This has to be one of the best ramen spots in OC currently. It originally started in Japan and came over to the States. In terms of quality, it definitely seems authentic.I've tried several items on the menu, and every time, it's delicious. I highly recommend dining in, but even if you order to go, or through doordash, it always comes piping hot and high quality.Today, I tried the Tsukumen, which is hard to find at other shops because it is a traditional dipping noodle where you dip it in the soup. I would highly recommend trying their tonkatsu ramen, although they also have other great items like smaller portion chashu rice bowls, which I swear the meat is so soft and tender. The chashu pork comes out great every time. The soft boiled egg is perfection. Both the straight and wavy noodles are wonderful. They also have a swirl broth, which is absolutely delicious; it's a mix of their pork and chicken broth together. They also have green tea, which tastes really crisp and fresh. They also have chicken if you don't eat pork.Overall, I really love Kashiwa and plan to continue frequenting it. The only critique I can give is that I wish the waitresses would check in on the tables at least once or twice every so often. Everyone is so kind and polite and the service is very fast. Dining by myself, i am in and out in under 30 minutes or so.Thank you so much for the wonderful meals, I plan to continue coming here in the future, and I hope more people come too.Vegetarian options: They do have tofu as protein for all ramen, miso ramen, sea kelp ramen, and other various side dishes like egg on rice.I would double-check with the waitresses to make sure the broth is 100% vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: If you do not eat pork, they have chicken as a protein topping as well.Parking: Big parking lot in a busy shopping center.Kid-friendliness: There are probably not a ton of options for kids, but if your kids are more adventurous, im sure they would enjoy it. I believe I've seen kids eating pretty plain ramen, just noodles and broth.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm pretty sure it's accessible to get in, but it is a small store and pretty tight. You may be able to fit your wheel chair at the counter if you ask.“
“Love this little Chinese resto in HB. Very consistent. Food is delicious. Great customer service. Restaurant has only a few tables but don't judge based on few tables. Food is delicious and fresh. I love their wonton soup. So fresh with lots of veggies, sliced chicken breast, shrimps and wontons. House special chicken and rice are yummy and kung pao 3 flavors are a must.“
“This is by far the best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had. They have many types of curries, but my favorite has been the Panang and pineapple curries. Very good place if you love hot comfort food. The portions are big too with lots of perfectly cooked rice on the side. The atmosphere is very upbeat and busy. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Have the option for tofu“
“The food here is absolutely delicious! I had the house special shrimp and it was delightful. The breading was perfect, shrimp tasted fresh and the sauce was really good. My grandpa had the orange chicken and he really enjoyed it, I had a piece as well and it was fresh and crisp. My wife had the Beef Pho and it was soooo tasty. Definitely some of the best pho we have had. The owner of the location helped us pick wjat yo get, and was very helpful from start to finish. It is a family owned restaurant so totally get some TLC. The ambience us great, pretty spacious with very cool fish tanks as well. If you are in the area, I suggest you give this spot a try, you won't regret it.“
“Good Philly cheesesteak and quick service on a Saturday afternoon. The cheesesteak was oozing with cheese and grilled veggies. There was plenty of seating inside and outside in 4th Street's market fun patio area that has games and TVs.My only issue with the Deli Station was that they didn't provide water, but you can easily grab it from the bar next door.“
“I live in las vegas. Phoholic is my favorite pho restaurant anywhere outside of Vietnam ??. Everything is fresh , broth is full of flavor. Sometimes when you come early they have "thit obama" . It's like a minced filet mignon "secret menu" sooo good, melts in your mouth.“
“Oh my lanta a came to this place and is amazing I got number 38 and my boyfriend combo grill with vermecille somes rolls nhamiiiiiii soooo goood guys best place ever the service is amazing and the food I had no words to describe how delicious ? it is ? I will definitely come back and the spring rolls are unbelievable so happy “
“Everything was freshly made, and delicious. Woke up craving Vietnamese (pho ga) chicken noodle soup this morning. Found this place on Magnolia in Little Saigon that serves it up right. The Chinese donuts are freshly fried and taste great with the broth and coffee.????“
“I love this place! I had my birthday lunch here recently because it's my favorite Thai place in Orange County maybe even Southern California. The place is small, you order at the counter and can always expect good food. Honestly it never misses. The food portions are generous, staff is friendly, and miss loving close to this spot.“
“This is a small little place. I tried the chicken feet and egg rolls and both were pretty good. The owners took great care to give me instructions on the chicken feet so that it wouldn't lose its crispiness as I got it to go. I thought that was pretty cool. I told my mother about this place and told her we need to try some catering from them.“
“Wow, finally...one of the more authentic Mexican restaurants in the area.I have to admit, I have been here a few times now and each time it gets better. If you have ever been anywhere near Apatzingan you would know what I am talking about.I have tried the Uchepo, Pozole, Caldo de Pollo, tacos, sopes, and Birria de chivo. I have to say I have enjoyed all especially the pozole and caldo de pollo. The service is great, each time I have gone, I have had a different waitress and each one is super attentive and have had a great personality and explain everything well about the food if you have any questions. Also, we have been greeted by the owner to insure how the food and service was. Greatly appreciated.I have recommend this to a few close friends and for sure will be coming back to try a few more things on the menu like menudo, costilla, mojarra, etc.“
“I had Tabu Shabu saved for a long time because I wanted to try it and I'm so glad I did. My husband and I came here on a Friday night and our server Kathy's customer service was just amazing. She was very attentive and super friendly. The food was so good!! My husband isn't really a big fan of shabu but he loved this place and thought it was so good! Our first time here was 10/10. The food, the service, and the vibes were just on point. We love the owner Dana! Kathy, Everest, Ray and all of the other people that work there were so nice! We will definitely be back!“
“It's a small quick hot pot place. We've been here a few times. Selections is a bit small but it has the essentials. It's like Mongolian bbq style where you grab a bowl, put what you want in it, and they weigh it for the price. It's easy to add too much. So less is more. The tomato soup toy is a bit too salty for my taste. So I usually get the fish based soup. It's a nice hot pot place if you're in the area.“
“I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but this is the best Thai food restaurant around. We order from Thai Pepper 2-3 times a month and the quality is always consistent and delicious. The pad thai, pad see ew, spicy green beans, and orange chicken are a must try.“
“I noticed immediately about 80% of capacity at 10:45am (good sign). Lots of regulars. The home made chips and salsa (red) ♥️. I had 3 chicken enchiladas rice and beans $15. The beans are amazing w/melted cheese on top. Service is great. This is a traditional Mexican restaurant family operated. People are drinking beer. Lively music on Monday morning. Lot's of cute kids at tables. Kid friendly ??. I would like more red sauce on the enchiladas. I know these independently owned restaurants are having challenging times w/inflation. Support please!Kid-friendliness: Almost every table had kids enjoying food“
“Ordered pickup (now twice) and tried the tofu pad thai, shrimp fried rice, fried tofu and egg rolls.Everything was great! Could use more shrimp even though I asked & paid for extra. The Tofu was good but the rolls were amazing. I liked that they were thinner than normal. The green chilies in the clear sauce (condiment) were yummy!“
“Amazing ? ?We went on a rainy day, and I craved heartwarming food. The service here was supper friendly. We were standing outside, trying to figure out what they sold. The guy came out with the menu. He also helped us order. We have the pork belly and beef noodles. Both were very tasty and not dealy spicy. Kimchi is 10 out of 10 ? The restaurant is full of Kpop atmosphere. They really fulfill my craving after watching k drama.“
“Absolutely delicious! The Pho Short Rib bowl was amazing and should be their signature dish! The staff was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to make our dine-in experience a memorable one. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend to others!“
“First time here and it exceeded my expectations. Orderd 2 item mushroom chicken and pepper steak, so delicious! Not a huge fan of the egg rolls because I can taste a bit too much ginger, it's just not for me. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.“
“The food court environment makes this seem like it wouldn't be that good but I love the Ramen here. It's also a big plus that they re-did the seating in the food court area... Used to be almost impossible to get seating on a weekend.“
“My experience here was AMAZING!!!So much so I had to leave a review for this place. The whole staff was courteous, professional, and above all else friendly. But the one responsible for this review is our server Scarlet! She went above and beyond. My family was happy with our visit here and it was just a wonderful experience.THANK YOU SCARLET!For making my dads birthday dinner truly " When you're here, you're family" moment.“
“Holy guacamole, these oysters are the bomb. Love the location and can feel the fresh ocean vibes reflected in the oyster being served here. Was amazed by the love and care received from staff here in taking care of my food needs. Can't wait to be back!!“
“Food is great, service is great. It's pretty crowded on the weekend evenings though. Had to wait for 40 minutes on a regular Friday evening to get a table.Kid-friendliness: They have kid-menu and entertainment resources on the table for kids (with payment options).“
“Saturday 3/16/24 Lunch at Hòa Bình Restaurant in Garden Grove with my cousin. Enjoying Vietnamese foods. All the dishes are good; authentic and savory. It’s a nice day out to enjoy good foods and good conversation.David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast“
“A GREAT! Spot, with the nicest staff i was low on money and just wanted somethin kinda small and only had 12$ and she gavr mr another meal that costed more cuz she thought what i could afford wouldnt fill me up lol the sweetest staff ever! And the food was bomb!“
“First time at this popular Korean Shabu place. We were a party of 5 and on a Friday night had to only wait 15 mins for a table. They have a nice selection of meats and a nice bar for all the veggies, seafood and noodles for your Shabu. The first chicken was great tasting although a bit fatty. The best meat was topper. Really nice and tender, followed by the ribeye. We tried the half and half stacker. No one in our party was a fan of the stalker. Fairly fatty. I must have had 3 orders of the topper by myself. Dinner is about $34 a person. Our server was a young man who was very attentive to our needs and explained everything to us patiently. I tried the spicy ponzu sauce and the sesame sauce. I recommend the sesame with a bit of chili sauce mixed in. It goes nice with all the meats.Vegetarian options: Veggie broth. Veggies and tofus at the bar.“
“To be fair the food is really good and really an authentic vietnamese, but service is too slow and rice were served so late to eat all the viands first served. No choice but as ive said we are almost done eating after the rice arrived. So ill be expecting next time to be more faster. To rate it all. foods actually were “
“Really love their hand made noddles! I also love their chicken karage with the yummy sauce that comes with it! The karakge is also has the lemon tangy that goes really well with the chicken! The Tukeman wasn’t thatGood as it used to be to be but the ramen is still delicious! I recommend this locations than any other location! LParking: Parking sucks here. It’s a small parking lot so void the rush hours.“
“Their food tasted good but portions are a little small for the price. My husband did like it but he said it was too pricey. They have lots of options and choices and if you are looking for a healthy place to eat, come check it out. Service was friendly but a little slow.“
“The food here is really delicious, especially the Vietnamese dry noodles - it goes perfectly with the garlic sauce! The waiter taught us how to eat ~ order a cup of delicious plum soda... OMG ? delicacies on earth ~ remember to order a small plate of fried pork rinds! Add to dry noodles and “
“Phan's Kitchen and Bar in Irvine offers a unique blend of contemporary Vietnamese cuisine alongside specialty cocktails and wines in a sleek setting. One notable aspect of the restaurant is its location, nestled almost inconspicuously in the middle of a residential condo area. To find it, diners embark on a short drive into the complex, where they'll discover not only Phan's but also a handful of other businesses. The unconventional location adds an element of discovery to the dining experience, making it a hidden gem for those willing to venture a bit off the beaten path. The restaurant's sleek ambiance provides a modern and stylish backdrop, creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons seeking a culinary adventure. When you walk in, you are greeted by the large screen tv above the small bar seating area, next to the hostess station. I think they were short staffed the night we came in but the hostess saw us, but went about other tasks and left the owner to seat us when he came out and saw us just standing there. The hostess was like, "Oh yeah, they are here." The restaurant was not very busy at the time, but they definitely did not have enough staff to manage the guests they already had.It was a cold and windy night so the DH and I opted to have some wings and some warming Pho with some drinks. The restaurant had an open kitchen area so you can see what was going on in the back. There were three people in the kitchen but only one person was cooking the other two were helping with prep and expediting but the cook/chef was a one man show. The wings took a little time so we thought they forgot our order, but when they came, they were definitely worth the wait. The were crispy on the outside with a mild hint of fish sauce, not overpowering, and the inside was nice and juicy! Given that the wings took a little while to come, we thought we had a little more time to eat the wings before the pho came, but shortly right after the wings arrived, the pho came out. So we hustled to finish our wings and start on the pho before it got cold. By now, there was a crowd that was starting to accumulate at the front door and people were crammed inside to stay out of the wind. I'm glad we got our food at that point as service was almost out the door as it got really busy. We tried to ask for additional condiments to eat with the pho, but they never came. The pho was good, but it could have been much better if we were able to get extra condiments with our pho. We were surprised that no one came to check in on us or give us the check since it was just the too of us sitting at a 6-top table and the crowd was growing. We finally had to flag down someone to get the check, seems like that owner was running all over the place. The menu at Phan's Kitchen and Bar boasts a selection of contemporary Vietnamese fare, promising a fusion of traditional flavors with a modern twist. From classic dishes to inventive creations, diners can expect a diverse range of options that cater to various tastes. The d was quite good, but the experience was somewhat dampened by the lack of service. It could have been on a night where they were short-staffed or it could just be lack or organization and process.“
“The pho here amongst one of the best i came across and eaten before. I had so many places but their broth here is very unique and it reminded you of how back home in VietNam s pho tasted like. I truly loved the pho here. The place is always so nice and clean. The services are always prompted and fast with politeness.I truly highly recommended this place to everyone.“
“Best hu tieu Mỹ Tho! The service is great comparing to many Vietnamese restaurants. They attend to you and check occasionally throughout if you need anything else. My family and I often have lunch here as it's clean, tasty and they are courteous!“
“What I Ordered: Vietnamese Egg Rolls Vietnamese Spring Rolls Pho with Rare Steak Bun Cha Thai Tea Lemonade Food: Vietnamese Egg Rolls were DELICIOUS, definitely my favorite dish on the menu. It was the definition of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The outer covering was fried to perfection that gave a loud crunch with each bite. The inside was filled with meat and vegetables that satisfied my egg roll cravings. The Egg Rolls came with noodles, fish sauce, and various vegetables to eat all together. I dipped the egg rolls into the fish sauce with each bite, and I was surprised with how delicious every bite was. The savory flavor profiles of the egg rolls combined with the umami from the fish sauce made it a great appetizer. I would come back just to eat these egg rolls. Bun Cha is a Vietnamese dish that has grilled pork, rice vermicelli noodles, vegetables, and fish sauce. You eat this dish typically by first dipping the grilled pork into the fish sauce, then combining with some noodles and vegetables. Eating all of those ingredients in one bite creates a wonderful bite full of different flavor profiles. The pork has a distinct smokey and savory flavor from being grilled, which then is complemented by the sweet and salty notes of fish sauce and the herbal aroma of the vegetables. Thai tea and lemonade were both delicious and refreshing! Service: The servers were quick and friendly! Ambiance: The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating. Parking is not a problem as it shares a huge parking lot with other stores.“
“This is one of Vietnamese restaurant that is open until midnight. The food size is big with reasonable price. The staffs are ok.. perhaps greeting with smile will get them a bigger tips. The place is clean and unique. Overall, it is a good experience and thank you.“
“I mean this Vietnamese is good. not great imperatively in the Westminster area. it could come with more veggies for their fall and spring rolls took a while to come out, along with its high tea, but I realized here that the stainless steel bowls for pho is where it's at“
“If you're craving a quick Thai dish, I'd recommend visiting Thai Street Food by George. At first, it seemed a bit sketchy when ordering online because they have you pick up at the back of the building, but don't be intimidated by that lol. Despite the location, the food is really good. I always go for the pad Thai (you can alter the spice level to your liking) because the noodles are perfectly cooked, the sauce is rich and tangy, and the balance of sweet and savory is spot on. Additionally, if you are craving something sweet, do not pass on the opportunity to order the mango sticky rice. Overall, the generous portion sizes ensure you'll leave satisfied.“
“Really excellent and reasonably priced Thai food. Got the yellow curry and pad Thai and both were super flavorful and fresh.Spice levels were a bit overstated and I could have definitely tolerated a little more spice but really great overall.“
“Service was nice but pretty slow... music was pretty loud can barely hear people Talk. The food was good ver flavorful! I definitely do recommend. My one thing is none of the waitresses had their hair fully up... serving food is think it would be required for them to put their hair up.“
“Yummy and good portion size for the price! The salty lemonade did not taste great though. I usually love viet salty lemonade, but the lemon flavor was not very pronounced here so it just tasted salty with a hint of lemon. The food was great though!! And the food came out quickly“
“It was pretty good! I'm not a tai food person. It tends to be way too spicy, or almost no spice at all! There was a lot of ginger flavor, (fresh ginger) but not much else to balance it out! The steak wasn't bad for what it was, but again not thrilled with spices. They were very watered down tasting. And wasn't a good balance for me. But again, I'm not a Thai connoisseur! Also veggies were overcooked for me. I ordered Steak that came with rice and veggies . Veggies were on the soft side and rice was a wet paste. The bottom half of the container looked like a clear thick paste. You couldn't see any rice grains. I think this food was edible and pretty healthy. But way over prepared and bland. I hate writing these kinds of reviews .. but maybe they will change it and help their business! I would try this at a different time. But I would be prepared to change it and fix it up.Dietary restrictions: Low fat if ordering non fried foods.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful establishment and was blown away by their delicious offerings. The broccoli cheese soup was a creamy delight, while the steak sandwich was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The turkey BLT was a tasty twist on a classic. The atmosphere was cozy, with people working on their laptops and iPads. A five-star experience all around!Parking: Plenty of parking spacesKid-friendliness: There are kid oprions as well.“
