“Innovative combinations and great flavors make the food outstanding. I had the taco macho. Shrimp and octopus were surrounded by sour cream and avocado and a full Anaheim chile (mild). There was cheese too and the flour tortilla was crisped just right. Bring your appetite! One overflowing taco may be enough! Quesabirria only on weekends! Excellent service and great music, not to mention the busy decor, made this place fun!“

“Been here several times; the food is always delicious. It is traditional California style Mexican food. I've eaten Mexican food in Mexico and to me CA style is better. I wouldn't say this food is the best I've had, but when I'm craving a chili verde burrito, beans/rice, it works, and it is tasty. They serve their sodas in cans with a glass of ice. Each time you want a new soda you have to buy a new can. It's a bit expensive, about $42 for 2 adults with no drinks or tip. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is nice.“

Ordered the Steak Ranchero's with eggs, food was great and came with handmade corn tortillas. Great seasoning and salsa is good and spicy. Reasonably priced with big portions.

“Best kept secret in California...and I don't say that lightly! WOW, the food is good! If you like shrimp and bacon...try the Camerones Momia. Of course that dish is rather rich...so consider getting a Tostadas de Cameron's Pescado o Pulpo to go with it...AMAZINGLY fresh and bursting with flavor! This place is EXACTLY why you need to adventure and try new places. Just wish I had found it sooner...and/or it was closer to Ohio.“

Itis more on the expensive side and be prepared to pay for everything separately, that's why O gave the 4 star instead of 5. Everything has an added charge apart from the expensive the food already is.“

“I was traveling with my mom, visiting family, and we happened upon this food truck while grabbing a quick cup of coffee before hitting the road. The truck was parked next to the coffee shop, and we thought that maybe it would be wise to eat because the food looked so delicious. Brandon, the owner, was so helpful and friendly in helping us pick out the perfect dish. Let me tell you, this decision did not disappoint and the food was top notch extraordinary and so worth the stop. I highly, highly recommend making the stop as well. As a foodie, I feel it’s my responsibility to let everyone know where the good food is at, especially for those who also travel and look for the gems. Go here. That’s that. 🙏🏽😛“

“El Michoacano Restaurant truly impressed me with its generous portions and flavorful dishes. The seafood and meats are delicious, and the servings are big enough to satisfy even the hungriest appetite.

The shrimp burrito ahumado (wet) is seasoned to perfection, with shrimp cooked just right, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The carne asada burrito is massive, and every bite fills your entire mouth. Fair warning: it requires plenty of jaw action, but it is absolutely worth it. Yum.

When I cannot decide what to order, the two item combo with a chicken enchilada and crunchy beef taco hits the spot every time. The beans taste just like Nana used to make: refried, creamy, perfectly salted, and seasoned with all the right spices. The rice is juicy, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with everything on the plate.

Overall, I left with that pleasantly plump and satisfied feeling after a great meal. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for relaxed and enjoyable conversation. A wonderful spot I am excited to return to to try their monster drink cocktail menu and more seafood.“

“Warning! Tacos are hella big ! These are not your street tacos that you get for a dollar, these are some hefty ass tacos. I usually only need 2 tacos to fill me up.

Meat options always taste top notch. The pastor is fresh off the trompo, the carnitas are juicy and flavorful, even the chicken has some character to it. This has to be one of my favorite spots in Gilroy for sure !“
