“I recently decided to visit The Diplomat in La Verne after being recognized by the Bonita Unified School District for my service to the schools and community. What a great choice! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the combo plate with filet, chicken, and ground beef—it was more than enough for the both of us. The filet was juicy and sooo good! Excellent service and a fantastic experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!“

The food, service and the service has not changed in all that time! I remember the Owner, was going to build a Clearman's in Green Valley, Henderson. When he passed away I asked his Son when is the New Clearman's was opening, he stated never, his Dad was wrong in thinking about opening it. I told him I live in Vegas, the Wife and I come just for the food then back to Vegas. I told him we tell all our Friends , Family and our work mates, ( Law Enforcement) , take photos of our food and the restaurant! Today my Son's Friend from Co. Would have stayed for one more beer but the server never came back when I asked for a taste of the beer I was contemplating purchasing. When they came back without the request we just paid and left. Next time we will sit at the bar, maybe service is better there.“

“This was a nice little joint I happened to come across looking for a locals style restaurant. I showed up a bit after 5, so it wasn't to busy yet. The tv near the ceiling as a list of all the beers available on tap. Some of their beers are not my type, but that's fine. When you sit down, you have 2 fermentation tanks in the dining area that makes for a neat experience. The beers are pretty decent. They do have a happy hour, but I'm not sure of the times. I did order the bratwurst, it was ok. I do think the menu should be expanded, as there wasn't much to choose from. Several photos from years back showed a significant menu; but not anymore. Overall I'd come back. I enjoy the small atmosphere and the locals feel that is involved.“
