“Unfortunately today there was a blip in my son’s chile verde burrito. First of all he ordered a Chili Relleno Burrito and it had Chile Verde on it. So he thought ok. But it was a pork burrito! I told him to ask them for what I ordered. He blew it off. He regretted his decision. The pork meat was very dry and bland and so was the sauce. I tasted it and I agreed. Then I ordered Topo Chico soda water usual charge is $3.75. This time they charged $4.75. Why? Last Friday a young man served us our soda water in a nicely decorated Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. With an umbrella too. So cute. Our server said he wanted to make it worth your $3.75. I ordered the same thing today mind you. But this time the owner charged it as a Whiskey Shot…huh?!? So my son was charged an additional $1 for serving my soda water in a pretty Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. 🍋‍🟩 So where was the Whiskey! 😂“

“I attended a Glendora Chamber Luncheon here today and it was fabulous! We were a group of about 30 people and we were so well cared for. Everyone’s food was served promptly, hot, and with a gracious smile. The food was delicious and the decor in the bar is so very charming. I highly recommend!“

Ben helped me for 2 months plan and get things the way I wanted and needed. Him and the team answered every question and calmed every fear. “I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“I love how tasty their food is. I had the Lafta wrap and a Kafta plate. The way I devoured it all was insane. The flavors were great, the food was fresh, and the restaurant is kept very clean and tidy. The bread in unreal and tastes so good from their oven. “We went to Mama's Night Market in Los Angeles, an event on Saturday, May 27th from 6 pm to 1 am. Satay LA was one of the placed we were fortunate to try. The skewers are made with love, the rice was fluffy. We got the skewer sampler, which came with 3 chicken skewers and 3 tofu skewers and rice. It was good. The tofu was tender, beautifully marinated, and the chicken was juicy. Their Instagram handle is Satay_LA. They're active on yelp as well.“

“Bought a large Glendora Quiche Lorraine at Gelsons. Instead of following their directions to bake at 325 degrees, I baked at 375 degrees for 30 minutes - the best! Crisp flaky crust, tender egg custard. Not sure why they instruct to bake at 325 - having made quiches myself, that oven temp is too low. Hoping they re-open soon! Gelsons seems to be out of their large quiches, so i'm now scooping up a bunch of the single serving size to freeze! If you're reading your reviews, Glendora Q, consider changing your instructions to 375 degrees.“
