“Once we booked with the Nixon Library, we were given a choice of 2 caterers that we could use. I was a bit worried when I found this out, as I wasn’t sure I wanted to be boxed in with specific vendors. White House catering was by far our favorite choice. Katie was a dream to work with. She answered all of my questions, helped me plan out “Operation Keep Grandma Nice”, and was just a great person to be able to work with. The staff on the day of were fabulous too. The server for our sweetheart table was the sweetest - constantly kept checking in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything, and was always nearby in case we did. They are definitely a well oiled machine, and everything ran extremely well. It is clear that they have this very fine tuned! Thank you again for everything and making sure all of our guests were taken care of and well fed! :)“

The flavors were great, the food was fresh, and the restaurant is kept very clean and tidy. The bread in unreal and tastes so good from their oven. “I can't say enough about Chef Bill Blackburn Farm to Table. From start to finish everything was top notch. We hosted a large holiday party at our home with 100 guests and Bill delivered the most exquisite catering experience. He met with us several weeks prior to make sure we had everything perfect. The night of the party, his team was incredibly professional and the cuisine was over the top delicious!

Our menu was a HIT!!! Bill did a poolside “Live Action Station” with shrimp and scallops, Mediterranean beef kebobs with mint pesto sauce, Thai chicken sate with peanut sauce, Lentil Bolognese, a huge sushi platter, a beautiful fresh seasonal fruit platter, and delicious assorted mini dessert. Our only regret was not ordering more food because every guest went back for seconds and thirds - the food was incredible.

I love to cook and prepare, but I really wanted to enjoy my own holiday party. There is no way I could have done it. Bill delivered 100% and exceed expectations. Everyone still to this day comments on the food that we had at the party.

We liked it so much, that we called Bill a week later to cater our Christmas Day dinner! We had a party of 12 and he put together the most beautiful menu including a roasted sea bass, an impressive tomahawk rib roast, and all of the delicious sides. Christmas was so easy thanks to Bill. It all arrived hot and kept well on the stove until we were ready to eat.

A long long time ago in a lifetime far far away....

A friend introduced me to Bombay restaurant - a taste of India.

And every time I pass within 10 mi of it on the freeway, I instantly think I really really need to go back there! ... And this was YEARS ago!

So while attempting to get my friend on a plane at ONT airport. (There's been a bunch of airlines canceling flights. It was a whole mess. I don't want to talk about it. 😵‍💫) ... I decided this is my moment. Heck yeah I'm going back!

Their mango lasses are subtle elegant. The food is actually spicy! Beware the 'spicy'.. they ain't playin ... I went from medium this time and I'm a spice head 😅.

Anyways, if you want a nice sit-down dinner with a friend about to get on or get off an airplane very near Ontario airport...

Or if you just want to take home some mouth-watering Indian food, that's roughly the same price as anything else worth eating these days. 10/10 recommend. 😉“

Nam and his head chef were professional, responsive, and clear from the start regarding pricing, which we really appreciated — especially since they were able to offer competitive pricing when we booked them for both lunch and dinner. They were extremely flexible in customizing the menu to match our preferences; we hosted a South Indian Telugu vegetarian lunch and a North Indian dinner, and both meals received rave reviews from our guests. The chef was also happy to incorporate several off-menu items and adjusted flavors based on feedback from our tasting, resulting in food that appealed well to both Indian and Western palates.

Rasoi’s familiarity with Santa Barbara venues and kitchen setups was a big plus, particularly given the challenging circumstances. Despite an atmospheric river, last-minute venue changes, and pouring rain — including cooking naan and tandoori chicken under a tent — their team handled delivery with impressive professionalism. It was especially impressive that they were able to fully staff and support two very different meals at separate venues with a limited transition window in between. There were a few minor logistical hiccups we encourage future customers to get ahead of: lunch quantities were a bit tight, and during dinner a few items arrived later than expected, which made timing slightly unclear for guests. Additionally, the cake was not served during lunch or dinner, which likely was just a coordination issue amid an already complex day.

Overall, Rasoi offers extensive menu options across vegetarian and non-vegetarian, South and North Indian cuisine, with thoughtful execution and great flexibility. We would recommend them to couples looking for flavorful Indian food and a team that is adaptable, experienced, and open to feedback.“
