“I love this place. Family owned and has an authentic flavor. I get the spam masubi when I want something simple. They have the good macaroni salad and the short ribs are really tasty. I have never been disappointed. There is so much meat in the teriyaki bowls we sometimes ask for more veggies. Love to support local businesses! Chefs ?“

“I was visiting with my Mom the other day, and we were looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat. I am very glad we stopped here! They have a lot of choices, and we both ordered the mixed Hawaiian BBQ meals. It arrived in a disposable container, and it was full to the brim with meat, rice, macaroni salad, and vegetables. So delicious, and enough for both of us to take home for dinner. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are very generous, and most of all, delicious!“

“Love Poke and this place has fresh fish and vegetables and I've been multiple times and it hasn't disappointed which says consistency - hard to find these days. It's the usual line up of choose your base: salad, brown or white rice or half/half and then proteins and add on's. Highly recommend coming out here to have a delicious poke on rice and salad.“

“First time coming to this Hawaiian BBQ place and it was really good. I’m vegetarian and have been looking for a place that has vegetarian options. I got the Fire Island tofu plate and it came with a big portion of tofu and the seasoning on it was amazing. Will definitely come back.“

“I've been coming here for years to get my Hawaiian food fix.

All the dishes are yummy, but my favorites are the beef plate (comes with beef, rice, and Mac salad) and the masubi.

Service was quick. Waited about 10-15 min for fresh food made to order so it's not lying around in food warmers.

I called and they asked to come back and my order was ready as soon as I arrived. Most people would not give 5 stars for missing items but the way it was handled shows exceptional service. They do not have a lot of options for Hawaiian BBQ but their sushi rolls and egg rolls are amazing.“

“Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. My only wish is that they would open earlier as someone who's out n about by 7am, but I understand not wanting to open at the crack of dawn.“

They also clean the “ordering area” after each patron & tried to give me a refund for the amount of the dish I ordered! Their fried fish and shrimp plate looked amazing, but I just couldn’t eat it. Definitely coming here for my poke even though I live 20 mins away. Very nice people and generous. That’s how you get the people to come back. “What can I say, the food there is excellent. All the plates are affordable and you get a lot of food (tastes so yummy). The staff are polite, and respectful and the chefs are excellent. If you want some delicious Chinese Food or Hawaiian Grill, I highly recommend this establishment to everybody.“

“I ordered a medium for $14.95 and the presentation was beautiful a good rectangular shape allowed all the flavors to stand out perfectly. On Sundays I got lucky there was $5 Sushi containers available for sale so we also got a special dinner“

“Continuing to be the classic go-to spot for Hawaiian-style food, not only has a long-standing history, but its consistency is comforting. After all, they have some of the best Hawaiian macaroni salad around.

Whether you choose the Galbi, BBQ Chicken, or Kalua Pork the portions are big and offer a sharable value. The Katsu is also another good choice if something fried is what you prefer.

The bowls are a lighter affair, and I often have to pair it with an order of Musubi.

Pricing is under $20 thus not your typical fast food establishment.“
