I accidentally put in two orders for the same cake on the app, and immediately called into the store to ask for assistance. Mikayla picked up and understood my issue right away, and then called me back after ten minutes, telling me her boss would ensure that the correct amount be refunded and only one cake made. The refund was processed within 48 hours as promised, and the cake was ready and exactly as I ordered upon pickup. The cake was a bit smaller than I expected, but did end up feeding the amount of people that the website said it would. I would definitely order from this location again!“

Parking: My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting La Michoacana Ice Cream University, a Mexican ice cream shop. We were looking for snacks to take out for the movies and we were craving some esquites. And so I quickly searched one up and found this place. This is located in a plaza and they're right across from the Azusa Pacific University. And now I know why they named the shop as such. Finding parking is really easy, I had no trouble finding parking although it was at night. But I'm pretty sure during the day you can easily find parking there.Food Selection: We ordered two small esquites – for the uninitiated, esquites are Mexican snacks made with corn kernels, similar to elote but served warm in disposable cups, minus the cob. We also ordered a fruit bowl topped with chamoy and tajin. While everything was delicious, the standout was definitely the fruit bowl, with the chamoy and tajin. It was flavorful and filling. (I will attach pictures of the food for reference.)Ambiance: Stepping inside, the shop was very clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I noticed in the front of the shop that they have free Wi-Fi but it was password protected. So I'm assuming that you need to ask one of the staff for the password if you want to study there for a while.Staff and Service: Though I didn't catch our server/cashier's name, he was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. I really like the fact that before handling the food, he washed his hands before attending to us– a small yet crucial detail that deserves commendation.Recommendation: I highly recommend La Michoacana Ice Cream University for anyone seeking some delicious Mexican snacks and ice cream! As a first-timer at a La Michoacana establishment, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the experience. One of the churros was great crispy and chewy in the center but the other one was stale. It happened with both of my orders. I will try it out one more time to see if it happens again. Otherwise, the flavor was delicious.“

Service was okay and my main gripe was that most of the flavors are too rich with toppings such as cookies and other very unhealthy sweets. “I just came back from Italy 2 weeks ago, I surprisingly found out there is a gelato store.
Well , The lady is super friendly.
The store is very clean.
However, to be frankly the gelato is actually not gelato.
Gelato should be very soft, softer than cotton candy, it doesn't have the crunchy nor icy texture, just purely soft and smooth.
You don't bite it , just sip in.

It is not bad as a ice cream store , but sorry not gelato.“

It’s the entry fee to get a scoop that seems a little high given the second comes at half price. The incentive is there to get more, but if the richness of a scoop from here is very satisfying in itself, that it sometimes dampens the experience if you mix flavors. The pints are reasonably priced given the price of one scoop, but seriously could do with a drop in the pricing for one scoop to maybe $4.75 just to get more clients in.“

“This was really good! It was my first time visiting a crepe shop and they did not disappoint. You order at a touchscreen device (which is great for introverts like me) and I loved that there were so many options to choose from! I ended up getting a crepe with strawberry, whipped cream, and mango, with vanilla ice cream on top. Portion size is big.

For take out they put the crepe into a bag that fits the cup which is really convenient. Atmosphere was cute and it smelled really good in the shop. The only downside I would say is that the wait can be a little long, but fortunately I went during lunch on a weekday so there was virtually no one else there. 5/5 would go again“
