“Empire King was fantastic! I enjoyed a burger combo at a price lower than the big-name burger chains, and the quality was excellent. The fudge sundae was especially delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, which made the experience even better. I also really appreciated the eco-friendly touch—both the take-home bag and burger wrap were paper instead of plastic. Overall, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be back.“

“We were greeted the moment we walked in the door. Allysa who was working the register and the Cinnabon and pizza counter was so kinda and enthusiastic!!! The pizza was delicious, highly recommended! Can’t express how great Allysa was, that girl needs a pay raise! The Wendy’s also had great salads that were very fresh! Very nice clean facility. I wish every gas station was like this“

“Service is good, they are definitely understaffed. The food is fresh and delicious, the waits are long. You'll have one person cooking, cleaning, taking money, serving, you name it's like a one-man operation. Their bags of ice add triple cheeseburgers are to die for. Staff is always on point and friendly. Sadly enough with short staff but waiting is always longer.“

“I travel through Tehachapi often but this is the 1st time I've stopped here. We had an amazing experience at this Taco Bell. Beth was so friendly and very pleasant upon us entering the restaurant. She greeted everyone that walked through the door. It was slightly busy but she was still very polite and friendly. I spoke to the manager and gave kudos to Robert because this is the first Taco Bell that honored my request as a customer the way I like my nachos is everything on the side and only nacho cheese on the chips. I hate soggy nachos. Overall, it's this kind of customer service that keeps customers coming back! Thank you Taco Bell Tehachapi!“

“This Wendy's is the best I have been to in a long time. It's Wendy's and fast food, so it wasn't gourmet, but everything was like it's supposed to be. The fries were good (NOT cooked in old oil), the lettuce was clean and crisp on my burger (NOT wilted or old mush), and I knew it would be as soon as I walked in. I knew because everyone working there was smiling and laughing with each other. I have never seen that at a fast food restaurant. Kudos to your managers for fostering a positive work environment!“

“The Jersey Mike's in Tehachapi, CA is by far the best location I've visited. The restaurant was very busy when I stopped in, but the employees were friendly, efficient and kept everything moving smoothly. “We stopped in Tehachapi to get gas and some sandwiches from Subway on our way home from camping on the coast about a week ago, and ended up leaving our kids stainless steel water bottles on one of the tables there. I called within 20 minutes of realizing we had forgotten them and spoke with Crystal, the manager on duty. She said she would mail them to us, which was more than I had expected. We didn’t want to have to turn around and go back, as we were pulling a trailer and it wouldn’t be that easy. So to have her offer to mail them to us was a nice surprise. She was very pleasant and helpful, as were all the girls working. Not to mention, the sandwiches were tasty as well! We most certainly will be stopping here again, as my kids love Subway sandwiches!“
