“This local place is close and has a wide variety of choices in the menu. I've been here a few times. Delicious drinks! Food is good but not amazing. Last time i was here...Cedar plank Salmon was delicious. Potatos and veggies were a little bland. Creme brulee seemed like it was broiled instead of torched as the entire dish was VERY hot. Atmosphere is very nice and service is always notch.“

“The pan-seared peppercorn-crusted filet mignon with potatoes au gratin and sautéed asparagus were as good as I've had anywhere. Thick, small and perfectly cooked medium-rare. And the thinly-sliced tomato salad was the perfect starter. We brought our own wine, but their in-house selection is outstanding. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Our waiter, Dominic, was professional and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a two and a half hour anniversary dinner in a lovely outdoor setting and will definitely revisit when we're back in Santa Barbara! Thanks to everyone at Bouchon for a very special evening.“

“Whenever we visit a new city, I google the top restaurants and try out #1 and #2 and it just so happened that Finch and Fork was #1. We arrived early for our reservation, so we had a drink at the bar and were greeted by Sebastian. He was very personable and knowledgeable and we felt that he cared and enjoyed what he does for his customers. We were then greeted by the manager and escorted to our table and wished my husband a Happy Birthday. Oddly enough, our waiter also was the person who served us breakfast at the hotel we were staying at. Being in the hotel industry myself, this was very common for food and beverage employees to work at multiple establishments. Since we had viewed the menu while sitting at the bar, we already knew what we wanted to order for dinner. We had the F&F Deviled Eggs, Black Garlic Caesar, Fried Chicken and Hope Ranch Mussels. Everything was amazing and delicious. We would definitely refer this restaurant to our family and friends.“

I Highly Highly recommend State and Fig in Santa Barbara! From planning to execution, Patrick and Serina made my niece’s wedding Perfect! I don’t use Perfect lightly, as I am known to be critical and a perfectionist especially when it comes to events. They made my niece's wedding planning experience so easy, from booking the venue to providing Customized menu options, and ALWAYS received quick responses any time we had questions as well as added personal touches of their own to the wedding. Serina and Patrick were extremely helpful, detailed, and knowledgeable and knew exactly what we wanted and how they could help. On the wedding day, The whole staff was very friendly, attentive, communicative, accommodating, Extremely helpful, and responsive, from assisting with centerpiece decorations, to serving hors d’oeuvres Always with a smile, making sure Each and Every guest was taken care of throughout the night, I was very impressed! Now for the food, EXCEPTIONAL, the taste was phenomenal, the meat was tender, the salmon was cooked perfectly, Nothing was over/undercooked, so delicious and the guests would not stop talking about how good the hors d’oeuvre and main courses were! Thank you, Serina, Patrick, and your staff from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make my niece’s wedding day beyond wonderful, and Perfect! “I've been going to the Blue Owl with my daughters since it opened. The food is fantastic. The vibe is the closest to being in a late night New York eater. I always feel home here. And of course I love the Tuesday night open mic comedy. A staple in the Santa Barbara Comedy Scene.“

“Literally the best sandwich shop ever. The service was absolutely top notch. Sam was so nice to our kids! Ingredients were fresh and so good. Plus, didn’t have to pay extra for avocado which is always incredible.

“Their Toucan chicken sandwich is really really good. Make sure to ask for extra napkins, you'll need them. Cobb salad and tempura green beans great too. Those are my favs and only thing I order so can't speak for rest of the menu. Casual, clean, bar atmosphere, lots of TV's with surfing and snow boarding. Pleasant staff.“

Probably the best clearly-labelled vegan burger you're going to get in the area, since it has a good patty, a good bun, and a delicious thousand island sauce, and the vegan options in IV are lacking… $10 for a vegan burger, fries, and drink is better than almost any place I've been to. Fast service, but you eat in a cafeteria-like setting. Haven't tried the black bean or hummus burger, but I'm sure they're good too. I come here every week as a lunch between my classes.“

“We were there on an evening where they had more customers than they could deal with due to their process of ramping up staff after being closed for sometime due to a lost liquor license, now restored. In spite of this, they were very gracious, and the food was outstanding. Fortunately, our patience paid off.“

“The bar tenders on the third floor are horrible. After waiting 10 minutes they refused to sell me beer and friend wine. Went to second floor and got drink service in less than 30 sec. Place would be better off installing a vending machine on the third floor to replace the bar.“

“Well, I took family out, and we had 3 main dishes. For me, I had the chicken Piccata, i would say 7. The taste was on the 🍋 side chicken, somewhat stiff. The pasta was good. Wife had shrimp scampi zucchini she rated it an 8 zucchini missing flavor. My girl had garlic fettuccine rated it a 7 missing flavor. I loved the wacamole and chips. Would have loved more refills, but they hardly came to check on us. Lighting and ambiance were good. In short, I would come back, just not the same food choices.“
