“The cafe is located next to Residence Inn hotel. We visited during summer around 6pm after we had Von’s for our dinner. The cafe is cute and the girl who served us was friendly.

Boba sundae: the bobas were chewy and sweet. The ice cream was super creamy & milky yet it wasn’t too sweet. The combination was perfect.“

Menchie’s on Madison is hands down one of my favorite frozen yogurt places. They switch up the flavors regularly, so there’s always something yummy to try, and I love that it never feels stale or repetitive.

What really makes this location stand out is how welcoming they are to kids and toddlers—it’s such a friendly, family-friendly spot. The store is super clean, well-organized, and well-maintained, which makes every visit enjoyable. Even the bathroom is big, well-stocked, and spotless—which, let’s be honest, is a huge plus when you’ve got little ones in tow!

The employees are pleasant and efficient, not overly chatty, but they get the job done, and I appreciate that. The prices are fair, and they run great promotions from time to time, making it even more affordable.

At the end of the day, this is my go-to frozen yogurt spot. Whether I’m with my kids or catching up with friends, it’s always a great experience. Highly recommend!“

“Great place for ice cream. 50 years ago I worked at a Baskin-Robbins in Dayton, Ohio. Then, six cones with 2 scoops cost $1.68. Today those cones cost about $36. But the cones are bigger. The quality of the ice cream is the same. Excellent. I will go back again to sample all my old favorites. Tonight was black walnut and jamocha almond fudge.“

Normally whenever I crave ice cream in the evenings I’m met at other locations with grim workers who sometimes even ignore me. This location however, I was greeted by two upbeat workers who made friendly conversation with me and helped me pick out a good flavor for a freeze (which are really good)! They told me their names are Kim and Kaia (I hope I’m spelling it right). I hope all the other customers will have the pleasure to receive such wonderful service from such friendly people like I did! “Party box was gifted from a client so not sure about pricing, service or atmosphere. The box included 2 each of the following flavors: chocolate brownie, sugar cookie with Cadbury Mini Eggs, carrot cake, cherry pie pretzel, chocolate chip & lemon crinkle. Nice, large cookies so we cut them up so everone could sample. The chocolate chips were great and still warm on arrival - a warm chocolate chip cookie is always the BEST chocolate chip cookie. Nice sized chips. The chocolate brownie was my favorite: soft and the perfect amount of chocolately flavor without being overly sweet. Not a huge sugar cookie fan but these are good. Hard to cut but right ratio of sugar cookie to frosting. My husband would be in heaven with these. The carrot cake was super moist and everything I want in a carrot cake. Good ratio of cake to frosting with just a sprinkle of nuts. You can taste the carrot shavings and raisins without them overpowering.“

I really enjoy the sugar-free option since I'm always trying to avoid extra carbs and keep my waist then my children like the fact that they have Boba that you can put in my children also like the fact that they can serve themselves. It makes them feel grown-up. We will keep going back to this place. We call it Argenio of Lincoln since we go to Jinnae in Yuba City.“

“I drive by this place every day and finally I stopped to try it out and I got the corn with Cheetos the waffle and ice cream and the mangonada. Everything was pretty delicious.

I think the corn needs more stuff in it. Than again I was maybe thinking it would taste more like elote with Cheetos on it so that maybe why I was a bit disappointed, but than I had the mangonada and omfg. It was the perfect summer dessert honestly. The freeze with the actually sweet mango drizzled in that spicy goodness. If you’re ever overheated and want something cool and delicious just go here seriously if they had alcohol added to that they would have customers out the door.

The service was quick. The guy was very fast at what he does definitely recommend.

I was there just the other day, and believe me, it was tremendous. The flavors? Huge. The portions? Bigly. And the people? Great, great people. And the mix-ins? Unbelievable. They've got everything. The best ingredients, the best combinations. I don't know how they do it, but they do it, and they do it better than anyone else. All the other ice cream places? Sad. Low energy. They can't compete. Cold Stone Folsom is winning, and it's winning big.

“I'm baffled at tonight's encounter at the Folsom Menchie's. Tonight my friend and I left at 840pm to get froyo. We walked in at about 847pm, and they close at 9pm. We paid and then sat outside. You would think the girl, Anna, would've said politely we close in ten minutes and have to bring the patio furniture inside. When in reality, she came outside being abrupt and abrasive - telling my friend and I we need to leave and they're closed, also telling the other's sitting at the table over. I will never be back to support this establishment again! Being self employed, this is NO way you treat someone supporting a small business.“

“My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to the area in 2021 and absolutely love the new ownership. Michael in particular was an absolute angel and left us feeling so connected and inspired! I couldn’t ask for a greater atmosphere. The quality of product has also gone up and although the prices are higher so has the quantity and fresher ingredients so I wholeheartedly recommend this place if you’re craving frozen yogurt or ice cream! :)“
