But life went on and I almost forgot to praise these few, 3 dedicated workers , 2 girls and a guy. Kept their composure even when a customer acted awry (and got kinda nasty to them). Some people just cannot, count 12 sandwiches ÷ 2 workers x line out door = chill TF out. Back in December, my family was dining there when the owner came over and shared his story behind Riley’s, a tribute to a beloved Labrador who changed his life. “New Owners! Delicious Persian and Pakistani (alternate pages of menu). We had their paneer appetizer). It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. I enjoyed an inhouse, freshly made mango lassi. Wow! We have enough leftover to enjoy a shared lunch tomorrow.“
