We had an email allowing us a free chicken sandwich when you use the app. We don't eat out often so this was a treat for us. My husband had already used the app, so this was his second time in the app to get the free sandwich with our order. When we picked up our food, two of the young workers couldn't help us with this promotion, so we spoke with the manager. She also said sorry we can't help you! We were at the window and received our order, but had to order another item as the chicken sandwich was going to be my husband dinner and we wouldn't receive it. While we were trying to get this order going another young man came up to the window to help us! He heard about the situation and honored the free Chicken sandwich promotion. Everyone was kind regardless of the situation. We love this location and because of Elijah, we left happy customers.“

“This is a little Granite Bay gem! I ordered large-ish sandwich boxes and cookie platters for two separate Sundays for a local charity event. The orders were right on time, the folks working that day helped me load the food into my car, the food was yummy and the entire experience was easy and pleasant. “It t'was new years day. The line went out the door, and no one was a snore, 3 workers working ever so fast, but still a customer came up to be an a$$. But life went on and I almost forgot to praise these few, 3 dedicated workers , 2 girls and a guy. Kept their composure even when a customer acted awry (and got kinda nasty to them). Some people just cannot, count 12 sandwiches ÷ 2 workers x line out door = chill TF out. They deserve big praise, and maybe a beach day.-the guy that got hit by that truck in front of your business about 12 years ago says so.“

“New Owners! Delicious Persian and Pakistani (alternate pages of menu). We had their paneer appetizer). It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. I enjoyed an inhouse, freshly made mango lassi. Wow! We have enough leftover to enjoy a shared lunch tomorrow.“

“This is the best restaurant in Gold River and one of the best in Sacramento, hands down. True hidden gem. My family has been going for years and we look forward to many lunches and dinners to come. Food is amazingly prepared and always fresh, great portions and quality- each plate could be $10 more expensive and I’d still happily pay. Don’t tell the owner. We love the atmosphere, great indoor and outdoor dining and always amazing service. If you don’t know about Z California Cuisine I feel bad for you! “We all have hard days. So we were in Folsom for the Holiday art and craft fair today and saw Plank so we decided to go in. We were seated quickly and our water and drinks were ordered. Luke was on it and attentive to all of our needs, started the heater for us. It was a little chilly. Brought out our drinks and took our order! Sadly, after our appetizer came and we were finishing it, we were informed by the manager that there had been a mistake and our order had been lost. So she took our order and was very apologetic. Not two minutes later, our salads were served. 3-4 min after that our entrees . All perfect order and in service. When Luke served us, he was very apologetic and shared his mistake with us. The service here was impeccable and they made everything right! They made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and served in a timely order despite the hiccup. The food was amazing. We had the Caprese sandwich, fresh and delicious. We had the grilled artichoke, which was amazing with great sauces. And we had the steak chimichurri sandwich. I would highly recommend going and checking these guys out!!! The drinks were epic too !!! And thanks again, Luke and the lovely manager lady !!!!“

They always seem to be very tasty and can’t figure out what that one ingredient is that sets it apart from anywhere else but yesterday it seemed to be missing something although they were still great, just different ..“

I got the 911, and we got a volcano, I think, and I can't recall the third plate that we shared. it was delicious! unfortunately, there is no low carb option. The sushi is overwhelmed with salty rice. overall this is unhealthy food but I can't argue with the flavor. definitely not for someone on a low-carb diet, like me. but I made an exception for a date with a lovely lady. Don't get me wrong, I will return to try something else, but this is not a go-to for me because of the high carb rice.“

“Our table had some crumbs on it when we sat down. My lasagna was a little on the oily side. Nick gave us great service. The pay machine on the table grabbed my visa card info when I laid it unexpectedly in front of it. I was surprised as I had a gift card to use. The staff was very helpful in wanting to refund the balance and correct it immediately.“

“Pacific Avenue for you really down home, hippie plays and you can feel the love of the mother here. The sun runs a place. He's super nice and chill. He has wonderful tattoos. And gorgeous green eyes. The food is super healthy and organic. If you're going to be a tourist, this is where you want to be. There are no regrets eating here. Also a clean restroom is a huge bonus on top of everything and easy parking. Great menu options, great service, warm, friendly welcome, what's not to love?“

She waited in line again for a bit but it was a little long, at the time came back to the table as the food came. She said “yea the line was long so it’s ok” the manager overheard as he was dropping the food off and wanted to get us whatever we were waiting for free. “Great sandwich spot and easy spot to grab a quick bite before heading to the park. Only complaint is their pricing. Wall pricing states one and the register is higher and when asked about why is it advertised cheaper than in the system, the young staff just said, well that's the pricing and should be correct in the register. I stated if something is advertised lower, shouldn't the pricing be honored, they were reluctant to agree. I did appreciate the discount offered.
Just requesting proper training and correct pricing as NO one likes to be mislead or have False Advertising.
