“Great latte! I had the challah French toast which comes with vanilla ice cream butter and real maple syrup. So good and enough to have leftovers. Hubby had baked eggs with black forest ham. Food was great, good service and charming off beat vibe with an eclectic mix of people enjoying a convivial mood.“

“My boyfriend and I made a reservation after I’d driven by and seen that they specialize in sparkling wines, and we are so glad we did. We loved getting to speak with Randy, the winemaker and owner, as he walked us through the wines that he clearly put so much love and care into. It’s obvious he only wants to make wines that he himself would drink (hence all of his wines being organic!) and that passion is infectious. Would 10,000% recommend if you want an intimate experience of the kind of people who make Sonoma Valley wine so great.“

“The Best lamb gyros we ever had! and we have tried several places. Gyros were very fresh. Will certainly now make this a frequent stop. Great prices & good size portions. Can't wait till summer to sit outdoors. More than a 5 rating.“
“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!
The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day.
Highly recommend Porter Creek for anyone looking for a relaxing, intimate tasting experience with a personal touch.“

“Amazing wine tasting in a natural beautiful environment“
“So unfortunately we couldn’t go, they were booked. However, they were the NICEST people, gave us some great recommendations. We got a tiny pour of something very good while they made some reservations for us. They have a beautiful view and we’d love to try them next time we’re up that way. I just wanted to take a moment to express our group’s appreciation for their excellent care of not-quite-customers.“

“Great food and lots of it. It’s all good but my favorite is minestrone. Filled with veggies in a wonderful tomato broth. I always get at least one quart to go to eat throughout the week. Don’t forget the cookies“

“Tiny restaurant making big waves!
Never have I ever tried food or wine from Georgia, but I’ve been converted to a regular. The food is super simple, but make no mistake the dishes coming out of this kitchen are packed with flavor and done up. I tried dumplings, sautéed mushrooms, and a wrap. Every dish was like exploring a different part of Georgia and with each bite I got to see this cuisine is about transforming simple ingredients. I’d happily re-order everything I tried!
Georgian wine is unique unto itself. From what I understand the wine is made using a very old method of burying clay pots. There isn’t much processing or filtering, so the end product is very viscous. I enjoyed it, especially as a first time experience, but I don’t think it’s for me.
The restaurant itself has a warm, quant feel. The staff were extremely inviting and happy to explain the menu as well as the wine.
If you’re curious about trying Georgian food or just happen to want a great meal in Sebastopol then try Piala!“

“Came here for a Chamber mixer as it's one of my favorite wineries in the world. So many great childhood memories of Korbel. The tours are fantastic. The winery is down to earth. The redwoods are magical. The view of the vineyards spectacular. Delicious deli food. I don't even drink wine and just love coming here for all the other wonderful things this historic winery has to offer! 💕“

“Beautiful tasting room and property. Probably the nicest sit down side by side we did all trip. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, Bri was great!
I felt the wines were not as impressive here compared to other wineries we visited. I felt bottle prices were high. Could just be me though (not super experienced).“
“What do you get when you cross a mathematician with a grape? Perfect wine! Moshin wine shines with small volume meticulously crafted slow aged harvests. We were lucky to satiate our palates with phenomenal wines and spend our time with our host and wine docent Robin Froman. She is an amazing documentarian of this estate, its wine and wine educator. It wasn’t hard to choose to purchase wines. All around 5-star experience.“

“We were visiting California but were concerned about stopping at a vineyard with a 13 yo and 11 yo twin children in tow. This was the perfect place. Relaxed atmosphere with nice wines and the kids were completely fine (big sigh of relief)! Highly recommend for adults wanting to experience a bit of California’s wine country and a reprieve from all the kid oriented activities.“

“At lunch we had a good experience however almost too much attention from wait staff. We were interrupted 6 or 7 times by 3 different wait staff asking if we needed drinks or anything else. While I appreciate some attention- it was over the top with more than appropriate amount of attention. The food did not disappoint - but the staff needs to allow customers to have a less interruptive experience and just enjoy the meal.“

“We came here on a Friday night around 6pm. There was a few seated tables and no wait for our family of five.
This appears to be a husband and wife shop and probably could use one additional pair of hands. Husband was behind the sushi bar making the rolls and such while the wife takes orders, bus tables, answer phones and serve the food. Have some patience as they can get backed up when it gets busy.
The food was good, typical sushi fair. Fish was fresh and presentation was beautiful.“

“I wish I could remember the name of our host, because he was great, and knowledgeable especially for someone his age. Early 20s, from Santa Rosa, dark hair. He made the tasting extra fun by humoring two middle age ladies, and was happy to take some unique photos. We really appreciated the hospitality and had a blast.“

“I absolutely love this place and have been coming here for a long time — it’s one of those little gems you just keep coming back to. I recently stopped by again because they have a special on certain days where you can get $3 fish tacos (yes, THREE dollars!) and they’re so worth it. Pro tip: follow them on Facebook and Instagram so you can catch when the specials are happening — it’s totally worth planning a visit around it. The food here is always made fresh to order, which I love because it means everything tastes hot, fresh, and just right. This time I tried the artichoke and the crab cakes, and I cannot stop thinking about those crab cakes. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and full of flavor on the inside — not greasy, not dry, just absolutely delicious. The artichoke was also perfectly cooked and came out steaming, making it such a comforting appetizer to share. One of my favorite things about this spot is how cozy it feels. It’s a small, inviting place with a few outdoor tables, so you can sit and enjoy your food in a relaxed setting. There’s no big dining room “scene” inside — it’s more of a laid-back, neighborhood vibe, which honestly makes me love it even more. It’s the kind of place you can just stop by, grab something amazing, and take a minute to slow down. Every visit feels personal, like you’re supporting a local business that really cares about what they serve. The food always comes out looking beautiful and tasting incredible, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. This is hands-down one of my go-to spots, and I recommend it to anyone who loves fresh, flavorful food and a cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely keep coming back!“

“They were so warm and welcoming. We came in with a group of six and everyone's food was delicious with large portions. They gave us a free desert for the table, as well! It's only a short walk from my friend's house, so we'll definitely be coming back when in Santa Rosa again.“

“This place is the best! Delicious ciders on tap, plenty in cans, clothes & fresh apples. If you want to enjoy a crisp cider underneath an apple tree: this is the place. The chairs are wooden chairs which are insanely comfortable. My bf and I were locked into these chairs. Live music within earshot. The bartenders are also very knowledgeable about the drinks & asked me if I’ve been here before. They went above and beyond to inform me about the drinks and make me feel comfortable. Come here!“

“Sept 2025. Only 62 reviews? It's a 5-star review for a 70-80s style diner/cafe.
The Warm Puppy is a cafe built into the lobby of the Redwood Empire Ice Arena. The arena and cafe were built by Charles Schulz. A museum dedicated to the author of Peanuts is across the street.
A table dedicated to Charles (Sparky) is set aside with a 'reserved' sign waiting for the talented - but humble - genius to arrive.
It's a cafe folks. It's just fine for what it is.
We ordered sandwiches with fries. They were good and reasonably priced. Staff had trouble with English, but they created delicious sandwiches in a timely manner.
What else do you expect?“
“Our go to sourdough, great bread and INCREDIBLE people. A local family business like theirs that has been around this long is doing something right!! Not only can you find their goods in the best local restaurants, but they frequently and quietly donate to so many deserving causes. It is not lost on me that as times have gotten tough for so many small business' Our community is lucky to have them! 🤍“

“One of the most beautiful golf courses I've ever seen or played, staffed by some of the nicest people I've ever met at a golf course. My only regret is that I don't live nearby, so I can't come here 3 times a week. If you told me I could golf at Augusta for the same price, I'd do it, but I'd still love Northwood more.“
