“So we bought some tamales down in orange county that were supposed to be terrific. Had them today and had way too much masa. So I bought some from Cafe Padre, all Carnitas. We tried a couple of those my husband and I and they were pretty good. Just the right amount of spice. I would've liked a little bit more meat, but they were sure better than the other ones.“

“I got myself a delicious italian beef and cheddar sandwich and some chili cheese fries the other day. Been coming to this place since it was a little stand near walgreens and it never disappoints! It was definitely worth the 10 minute wait. Certainly a place I'll keep coming back to“

“Do yourself a favor and stop by this joint for some delicious ice cream. The ice cream is flavorful, rich, delicious without relying on a million gimmicks like other ice cream establishments. The one star reviews are completely baseless and unfair. For contacts, I come from a number of cities where there is intense competition in the nitro ice cream space. You will not survive if your ice cream isn't up to par. I believe I got the ice cream with the pretzels and was blown away by how rich the flavor was. Also ignore the reviews that complain about the price. I think one of the challenges this establishment has is its location is in a city that's known for being... Budget conscious to put it politely. Santa Maria has kind of an island mentality and I really don't think people get out there that much. The prices here are fair for this type of product. If it's not much of an issue for you, you probably shouldn't be eating out and all. Go grab yourself a bucket of Dreyers ice cream at the grocery store instead. Nitro ice cream is much richer and creamier because it's frozen so quickly, it doesn't leave any time for little ice crystals to take up space in the ice cream. It is also made fresh. If only you guys could see the ingredients other ice cream establishment shove into their batters. A lot of it is preservatives, and tons of sugar to hide the flavor of the preservatives. Definitely will be back!“

“I purchased the Oreo/Brownie Blizzard. The Women there made it spot on. Tons of toppings, nice and thick perfect to sit and have in the food court at the mall relaxing and people watching. It was a nice end to a long Friday. Thanks for making it a sweet end Dairy Queen.“

“Good location, there's always plenty of parking. They are clean, and I like how they package to-go food items, like the esquite for example. Their ice cream is good, I liked the texture/consistency of it more here than some of the other ice cream shops in town. The only thing I do not like from here and would not recommend is their esquite (corn cups). I have tried them twice here and both times there is a lot of water in the cup from the corn, and I do not like that it mixes with the cream and basically becomes soup. Only the top looks nice, but once you get a few spoon fulls off the top you see the water right away. You are better off getting it from the corn men that walk around with their little carts, they always drain the corn well. The limón ice cream is definitely good for those that want something more refreshing or not too sweet. The tequila flavor is interesting. The cappuccino flavor is definitely good for coffee lovers and it is actually quite strong.“
