“This is a very happenin kind of donut/lil coffee shop It's a local hanout spot for regulars in Harbor City in cute yet safe kinda way. Tho the neighborhood some would say maybe a bit on the rough side,,it does Harbor City prouD. It sits on a famous & for some a very historical landmark .. "Normandie & Lomita". A few steps and youre on Pch and Normandie.. . Favorite Doughnuts is in the right smak dab of HC . I would say that hands down this little cottage has definite,character & good vibes all day. I frequent there alot in the early evening & the night guy is always just a breath of fresh air to anyone He is always working hard with a very contagous joy to him ,& a bedside manner that is almost gaurenteed to make anyone smile. It has a lottery ticket machine ,an ATM,&even some old-school classic gum ball machines with all kinds of cool nicknacks that a quarter or two might getcha. They have great sanwhiches,chips of different sorts, a variety of candy for sale, even cigeretts, the best priced with in 10 a 10 mile radious,& hands down delicious coffee -& donuts. “Best donuts in the South Bay!! All of the staff are wonderful! The coffee is ALWAYS HOT and FRESH! It is a great place to pick up fluffy, flavorful, and fantastic donuts! The "old fashioned" are my favorite and unlike other donut shops these OF donuts WON'T give you heartburn. If you want to be ruined forever and never be able to enjoy a donut from another shop, go to JAX donuts! I have been going there for over 25 years!“

“Its a cool little donut shop open late when i needed him to be i start work at 4 am and its on the way the owner let me pick a donut which i payed for then he picked one for me and boy what a pick and no charge on that one. Not a lot of talk just a good feeling the rest of the way to work.“

“My wife loves this place. She's been going here since she was a child. Omg it's so expensive here, but I understand why so many people go to this place. The food and donuts are so good. I remember one guy got his leg amputated after not taking care of his diabetes and hopped all the way from the hospital on his good leg just to get a maple bar donut. SMH. Oh well. Being healthy is so overrated.“

“If you’re looking for a great, easy classic American breakfast or a great smoothie - this is the spot. Clean and smells divine, everything is very fresh and the donuts are delicious art ? I like that the donuts are sweet and fluffy but not overwhelmingly sugary.

I got the glazed donut holes (probably the best I’ve ever had) and the fruity pebble donut and turkey egg and cheese croissant. All delicious and fresh 10/10 recommend.

Came back for coconut smoothie and tried a few other items from delivery - loving everything I got so far. Love the coconut smoothie. Still very sweet even when I ordered it less sweet so I would suggest less sweet unless you like very sugary.

Turkey egg and cheese croissant is perfect!! And very large. Next time I’ll ask to have cut in half so I can share or save for later.

The man behind the counter is super nice and was explaining to me how many places make their donuts in a cheaper / faster way and why he doesn’t. Says it is less likely to cause belly aches.

I think this place would be ideal to stop by if you were bringing a dessert to a party or house warming or school function. They taste amazing, look so aesthetic and are only 1.50 each.

“The owner (I think) is always there bright and early every morning, with an enthusiastic attitude, always smiling, genuinely nice and outgoing. She is eager to please & has even gone back to the kitchen and made whatever custom variety we describe to her! I'm pretty sure that's partly bc it's so early in the morning (typically at 5:30am) and the rush crowd's alarml hasn't even gone off yet so they're still asleep!!BEST DONUTS, SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE IN SO CAL IN OUR OPINION!!“

“MY Best friend went to get himself a turkey sandwich. And two ham sandwich for my daughter and I. He told me all 3 worker's treated him really kind especially the older guy. “The drive thru is so convenient in the early mornings. Be prepared to wait in line past 7am. The basic glaze they use for everything is tinged with lemon and is scrumptious. I recommend newbies try the mini glazed. Awesome old-fashioned vibe inside with ample seating. No restroom, no radio, no TV but lots of San Pedro history.“

“My spouse and I come here at least once a week. We really enjoy the sandwiches and the iced coffee (strong and sweet, just how I like it). They stuff the sandwiches with lots of ingredients but will leave off any ingredient that you want and even give you pickled peppers on the side. We don't understand why anyone would even go to the Dunkin down the way when you can go to this place. The donuts are big and fresh here. They have such a variety of food and drinks (like fresh juices) that I'm amazed every time. If you think you won't find something you'll like, go in and at least see the menus on the wall.“

“i havent been here in awhile, and oddly enough i always come for the food… always made with love, the girls they have working there are always so lovely and sweet. just tried the pastrami sandwich on a whim today, i wasnt terribly hungry and wanted something for later. i saw the girl loading my sandwich up with everything that is good and by the time i got home the sandwich was defeated in less than five minutes. the bread was delicious and fresh, crunch and soft, and the mark of goodness was the sprinkle of salt and pepper on top. this food reminds me of the food my grandmother used to make me in the best way. 10/10 stars will be back asap!!“

“My husband and I are visiting L.A. for a few days, staying in Torrance. We wanted a little breakfast sandwich before heading to the beach. Found this place looking around on maps and decided to try it out. So happy we did; we loved it! It’s a small family owned shop. There are a couple tables if you wanted to eat there. Walking in, the donut cabinet was right and front. While we didn’t go for the donuts they looked absolutely delicious and it was tempting! They had a huge selection of sandwich options/combinations on the big menu board which made it so easy to look at, read, and decide. For the sandwiches, you have multiple protein options with bread options (croissant, toast, bagel). I believe they had a lot of bagel options as well but we did not really pay attention as that wasn’t what we were going for. My husband got the sausage, egg and cheese on croissant, and I got the bacon, egg and cheese on croissant. While waiting, I read the tea and coffee options and decided to try the iced Thai Tea. I’ve never had Thai tea before so I wasn’t sure what it tasted like; it was amazing! I’ve definitely found a tea I’d love to find and try more often! Our sandwiches were done and out in good time and packaged well in good quality recyclable containers. The sandwiches were bigger than we expected and so delicious! The man at the counter was super friendly and attentive too! We both highly recommend stopping here. If we lived around here this would definitely be a favorite little spot!“

“Loveee this place! This morning was actually my first time going, and we picked up a couple donuts and coffee. Omg, we were shocked at how soft and fresh the donuts were! My wife, who literally never eats donuts, ate all hers and said she LOVED it.

The coffee was super smooth and affordable. We ended up coming again just now for lunch (turkey croissant sandwich with fresh cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes and peppers) and another coffee, and wow.

“I got an iced coffee and a singlr donut. Total was $7.75. Seems a little ridiculous on price if you ask me.

The coffee was an espresso shot mixed with syrup and milk. If you wanted it sweetened with syrup or any flavor, it was an additional 25 cents. Basically, it's a latte when I just wanted a simple iced coffee.

The donut, on the other hand, was pretty good. They asked if I wanted it warmed up, and I said no....however, they proceeded to warm it up because one of the ladies in back said they had to warm it up to make it taste better.... so that tells me it must be pretty bad when it's room temp? Overkill on the service, especially when it wasn't necessary.

The location is a little rough... tight parking and hard to access when theres a lot of traffic. I'd go back to try other donuts.“
