“Alex! it's obvious you've never been to Don Ruben's Mexican food! The food is good the customer service is good I have no complaints I'm giving it a five-star review prices are excellent you can ask for more there's nothing fishy about it you need to get out and try something and if a place is good of course they're going to have all good reviews I feel sorry for you never seen a good place or tasted good Mexican food and I'm 100% Mexican so get out some try something new unless you're from another nearby restaurant trying to put a negative spin on something but don't revenge is excellent five stars for sure!”

“I am not from around the area. The girlfriend and I happen to pick pizza for dinner. We came here, got pizza, spaghetti with meat balls and the garlic bread. Only ate half because it's hit the spot and I was satisfied, didn't need to eat more to be full. I recommend everyone try this place, I wish this place was in my area.”

“This was a very pleasant visit with friends. Had very nice mocktails, very nice. very nice presentation. Presentation was great for all dishes. customer service was very very good too.

Dahi puri was a punchy, very flavorful. Goat cheese kulcha was very nice as well. Dahi puri though was the winner of the two.

Seekh kebabs were fine but nothing special. Then a tough choice between lamb rogan josh and shaniwari karahi with goat. in the end, very similar taste profiles but the winner was the karahi. also had some nice but nothing spectacular naan as well as chicken biryani which was stellar. very flavorful with tender chicken inside.

Presentation of dishes is very nice. Portions may be on the smaller side but if you want to have a bit more luxurious experience, def worth the visit.”

“Some of the best FLAVORED Thai food I've ever had. Yellow curry chicken lunch special $13. Was amazing! And the Kung POW chicken entree for $15 ? spicy ? ? was the best I've ever had. Great portions also . This is one of those restaurants where the owner is your server.”

“I have visited this place about 4 times. at first I just wanted a snack since I was waiting for my clothes to wash at the laundry matt. Since the girl that helped me ( Andy?) was so polite and recommended a few things, I decided to come back.

1) the place was nice and clean
2) The cashier was friendly and patient
3) the drink was straight out mouth watering ( horchata latte)
4) omg the sandwich that I order was not only made fast but nicely wrapped for me, but the flavors made me dance in my seat.

I am not a person to do many reviews, but I believe they truly do deserved it. I also loved that it is family owned, and it feels like they truly care about the food and the quality of it.”

“While almost everything was closed on Christmas Day, this restaurant was open, and we were so grateful. We stopped by to order food because, let’s be honest—we love tamales and pozole, but after a while you want to change your palate and have something that’s not Mexican.
It was really nice of them to stay open for the holiday and offer takeout for everyone. Even though there were probably only two or three people cooking and taking orders, they were incredibly kind, patient, and professional. I truly appreciate them being open on a holiday.
The wait was long, but it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious! We ordered sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli, chow fun noodles, BBQ pork, and vegetable egg rolls—and everything was amazing.”

“Walked into a friendly and family atmosphere. They bring you delicious chips and salsa right away and keep them flowing. I ordered taquitos with rice and beans. Food did not take long to be made and it was great.”

“Came here for dinner time during Christmas week with my family. We were a group of 10 and we came right at peak dinner time, which honestly sounds like a terrible idea but thankfully they were able to sit us within 40 minutes. We were sat at two tables and had a burner each. The service was great, especially with how busy they were that night. The KBBQ was super yummy and I especially loved the steamed egg, I ordered two total. The house salad was so so good- I wish someone would tell me the recipe (pls) because I ate the whole bowl. The meat came out at a decent time and I enjoyed sides. They also offered buldak ramen, which my younger cousins enjoyed- so I’m sure other parents or family members may wonder what else kids may enjoy here. I will definitely be back!”

Starting with the nice gentleman that answered the phone who happened to be the owner then Cici the waitress who was very charismatic best customer service that I've received. “Japanese Korean cuisine serving the best sashimi this side of town.
Our family has been coming here for decades, even after ownership change. They were smart to keep the same vendors and sushi chefs.
Food quality is consistently 5 star.
Closes for employees’ break from about 3 to 4 pm, then reopens for dinner service.
Beat value for sashimi is the sashimi special from mini to large . A good variety of sashimi, served with many side dishes that will satisfy even the largest appetites.
Includes steamed egg, icy cold seafood salad, tempura, grilled fish (at least a small fillet usually salmon), choice of soju or another roll (chef’s choice), cheesy corn and a hot pot of soybean paste stew( contains fish) plus rice!
Starts with a small espresso sized cup of abalone porridge.
Outstanding uni bowls, chirashi (chopped raw fish salad), live flounder sashimi specials.
Japanese course has many of the above components and is a great way to have something for everyone.
Good Airconditioning to keep you cool in this summer heat.”

“I just cleaned up a chunky monkey bowl 😆 and I have no shame in it (lol). I loved this treat for my breakfast today and I would do it again! I read past reviews and I have to say, just come in and appreciate the list of goodies provided. I'll be honest, I got lazy to make anything at home, but I do appreciate this place for existing around the corner to help me make a better choice for breakfast. “I think this place is amazing especially for the price. Rarely do you find a pizza place around here where you can taste that it’s cooked in a deck oven I haven’t tried anything besides the pizza and the wings, but I have been coming here since since before they moved to this location from a block away. The wings aren’t my cup of tea, but their Large two topping will forever be a favorite of mine. Who else cooks their pizza with fresh sausage as a topping? Everywhere else uses those little frozen premade sausages. Not here. If you haven’t tried it before, try it tonight.”
