“Backstory: when my wife and I first started dating we went to a restaurant that coincidentally was called Rue that was also Cajun and was amazing (no pressure). My family and I came to celebrate our 3 yr wedding anniversary. The restaurant definitely gives the nawlins vibe when we walked in, that also looks great as a date spot. Our server was super attentive and was super mindful that when our baby was sleeping he even filled our waters away to reduce the sound which was really thoughtful. We ordered the New Orleans gumbo, fried calamari, Jambalaya, and the Mardi Gras pasta. One previous concern I had previously with Cajun food in California was that it wasnt seasoned well. Well, NO WORRIES HERE! Everything tasted amazing. If you’re looking for authentic Cajun, you’d roux the day for not for visiting!

“The food was very good. Service was great..my friend ordered her food too hot. They replaced it with a milder taste and it was just as she had ordered the first time.. Thanks Kickin Crab for great customer service....plus I had enough for leftovers..“

“This is the best place in LA for teriyaki. I got the chicken and beef plate. The sauce is sweet and delicious, the chicken is perfectly grilled with a nice charbroiled flavor, and the beef is tender. Make sure you add the fresh avocados which pair perfectly with the meat and rice. I enjoyed adding the complimentary hot yellow chilies as well.

This is my third visit here and tonight the beef seemed a little bit fattier than usual like it wasn't trimmed enough, but other than that, everything was perfect. I will be back.“

“The dining room atmosphere was really cool⚓️, the music was awesome, and the food was delicious 😋 We ordered the 2 lb cajun garlic shrimp bucket, a bowl of gumbo, garlic fries, and calamari. The bibs and gloves given to us for eating were perfect and necessary for the messy juicy shrimp.🍤 Everything was very tasty and not too spicy. Can’t wait to come back and try some other items on the menu. Thank you for the great service and amazing lunch.😇“

“All of the staff we encountered tonight were so nice. The food came quickly, and tasted great. There was one staff member in particular that went above and beyond. We came with our 4 kids to eat, and the smallest 2 made a couple of messes. He took care of everything and told us not to worry about any of it. If I knew his name I would list it here to give him credit but unfortunately I didn't get that before we left. Overall great place to eat, cozy, and family friendly.“

“I Had the frog legs, parmesan fries and the Cajun rice. Everything was perfect except the rice. The Cajun rice was a little gummy and some grains of rice were still hard. The atmosphere was quiet and the customer service was wonderful. Reasonable prices were appreciated.“

First time here and it was great, a few things we loved- It was very clean, easily accessible, great/ fresh tasting food, a sink to wash hands in the room, great servers, complementary fries and ice cream. “Mlem Mlem Crab is a seafood lover's dream come true! My group and I got a mixture of fresh shrimp, crab, mussels, and crawfish in our boil, which suited everyone's tastebuds! The seafood was cooked to perfection and covered in their delicious signature mlem mlem crab and garlic butter sauce. We also added extra items like sweet corn, boiled eggs, sausages, and tender red potatoes which complemented the seafood and sauce beautifully. I appreciated that I could customize every part of the seafood boil from the spice level of the sauce to the individual items in the boil itself, allowing me and my group to tailor the meal to our tastes.On top of the great food, the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it an excellent place for a casual dinner with friends. The nautical-themed decor added to the charm and made me feel like I was at a seaside eatery. The service was exceptional as our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations. Overall, I had a great experience at Mlem Mlem and can't wait to come back, sit on their outdoor patio, and enjoy another delicious seafood boil with a group of my friends!“

Parking: The lot is small but we've never had an issue finding parking.

“Food is delicious. Not your average kickin crab flavor but it's own special flavor, sauce is a thicker consistency that i like better. I like this place because the service is fast and the food is actually good and I don't stink of garlic for like 3 days.“

“Everything was absolutely delicious!!! The hot passion mocktail was the perfect blend of tart and spicy. We had the duck tacos and pumpkin and prawn soup, which we would make a special trip back for. Manny was excellent and checked on us throughout the meal. Above and beyond service! There was live music with an amazing violinist and pianist. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Plus it's absolutely beautiful inside!“
