“Whereas I do post reviews regularly and am mostly happy with them, seldom is it that I am deeply excited to write one. That being said, my first visit to Roux was impromptu. It has been on my list but it hasn’t come up in quite a while so I forgot about it. We went around 6:15 and were greeted by a vent at the hosts desk. He asked if I had a reservation, and I didn’t because I couldn’t find a place on Yelp or their website to make one. He informed me that I could find it through Google or calling them directly. There was a large party in events room and the rest of the place was packed. He apologized twice that I’d have to wait and I told him I understood. It was literally less than five minutes! Brother, you did NOT have to apologize. We were seated in a booth toward the back and the people that attended to us were Quoc and Christine. Hands down absolutely STELLAR service! They have it down to a rhythm, top notch all the way! And with a packed house AND huge party event going on they were checking in on us often! Now onto the food. I told Christine to please give my kudos to the chef. The food was divine!! I’ve been to NOLA many times and this place is better than some places there! We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, Mardi Gras Pasta, Shrimp & Grits, the Jambalaya, and the fried bananas for dessert. First off, you only need one entree per person, and tbh you can probably share one and an appetizer. Each dish was insanely delicious. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. And they do not skimp on anything! The number of shrimp they give you is more than ample and they are big! Not only that, the price point is awesome! I could go on and on but I’ll wrap this up so that anyone reading this puts their phone down and rushes over to this place. Roux Seafood Kitchen PLEASE don’t change a thing. What you’re doing is the way it should be done. A master class in service, food creation, and presentation! Well done…well done!“

“The dining room atmosphere was really cool⚓️, the music was awesome, and the food was delicious 😋 We ordered the 2 lb cajun garlic shrimp bucket, a bowl of gumbo, garlic fries, and calamari. The bibs and gloves given to us for eating were perfect and necessary for the messy juicy shrimp.🍤 Everything was very tasty and not too spicy. Can’t wait to come back and try some other items on the menu. Thank you for the great service and amazing lunch.😇“

“I went with my partner's family to Boil Daddy in Garden Gove for lunch in the early afternoon. There was no wait time during the time we went. The service and atmosphere were good. The highlight of the experience was definitely the food. We had the Daddy Sauce made mild spicy. We asked for a side of Daddy Sauce made medium spicy. Both were EXCELLENT. If you love garlic and Cajun, you will love the Daddy Sauce. The sauce put together the seafood very well. I recommend the medium spicy version of the Daddy Sauce if you would like a little heat to your bite. The mild spicy holds a very similar flavor profile but just without the spicy kick. Either way you're going to have a good time. Also, if you guess the answer to the riddle of the day, you get a free freshly squeezed lemonade. Their lemonade was quite good too! Overall, very, very good food and good service and atmosphere.“

“Food was fresh and delicious. Service could be better. Sauce is delicious, crab was nice size for the price. Only complain is we asked for extra butter on the side. The butter tasted like butter flavored oil. It wasn't clarified butter either. Pricing is reasonable. 6/10“

“Food and service were great but it's a small shop in a weird location with a tiny parking lot. They're rather new but I was surprised that it was totally empty on a Saturday at lunchtime when we arrived and no one else came in while we were there.

We ordered the #1 combo that includes 3lbs of seafood and some standard add-ins like corn, potatoes, and sausage. We got 2lbs of shrimp and 1lb of mussels with their mild all-in-one sauce. A few of the shrimp were a little overcooked but otherwise it was delicious. For mild, there was a slight kick that I enjoyed; I would have gone spicier if it weren't for my fellow diners. Compared to other seafood boil places, the sauce was very flavorful but a bit less salty and garlicky. I don't mind it either way.

My 3-year-old enjoyed her Cajun chicken tenders and french fries. I thought the chicken was a bit dry but she didn't care.

This was a random choice for our Saturday lunch and I was a little skeptical but we really enjoyed the food and I'm glad we came here.“

“Came here with my parents and we enjoyed their seafood boil as well as other food items. We got the spicy daddy sauce with our seafood boil, shrimp garlic pasta, fried fish and wings. I really loved the fried fish with the spicy daddy sauce on the side. The service was nice and restaurant was clean. Would definitely come back for some seafood boil!“

“The floating noodles is a smart marketing tool because gets you to order it but the flavor 100% makes you happy about it.

- bowl of egg noodles and garlic butter sauce, sausage and fried shrimp.

It’s Cajun noodles if you’ve offered at your local bag and crab or Cajun bowl grill. Classic flavors of butter, chilli, and spices.

What makes it different is that it actually tastes rich evenly. Some crab bowl spice places skimp and it’s a consistent flavor all the way through.

Shareable between you and your person with out taking too much room if you wanted to try other stuff in the packing district.“

“They have great food and a fantastic venue to listen to quality musicians! I was there last night with my husband. We got to hear Kenny Metcalf perform Elton John’s Deep Cuts. It was SO good! Kenny Metcalf performed songs I have only heard on Elton John’s albums. I’m so delighted I got to see this particular show!! WOW! It was off the charts musically and Kenny is such a talented singer and musician. When I closed my eyes I thought Elton was singing. The band was amazing too. That guitar player that I don’t remember his name, played a few solo guitar riffs that had everyone in the room clapping. The sold out venue was electric with the sound of Elton John’s deep cuts that I would never have heard live. So amazingly well done!!!! I left with a big smile on my face. I’m going to tell all my friends about Campus Jax….“

“Cafe Artist is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Westminster. Every dish I've tried here has been packed with flavor and beautifully prepared, making it hard to go wrong with anything on the menu.

My absolute favorite is the coconut snails—they're rich, savory, and incredibly delicious. It's one of those dishes I find myself craving long after I leave. That said, everything I've ordered here has been a hit, from the appetizers to the main dishes.

The service is just as impressive as the food. The servers are incredibly attentive, friendly, and always make sure everything is taken care of throughout the meal. Their warm hospitality makes the dining experience even more enjoyable.

If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine with outstanding food and excellent service, Cafe Artist is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!“

“OMGG SOOO GOOD!!! i got the bucket medley flavor with the whole shrimp and potato bag, along with the Cajun fries for $26 which is not only a good price but was a very good portion of food and it was the best seafood boil I’ve ever had!

The service is a 10/10, they are super attentive and very helpful, and we got the food very fast.
