“Healthy simple food.I like it just the way it is. I got the #1 ejotes con huevo; scrambled eggs, green beans, onion, tomato & bell pepper; accompanied with queso fresco, beans, crema, avocado slice, and thick corn tortillas. Fresh, simple and not heavy. Plus the price is also fair. If we ALL ate good simple food vs fast food chain, we all would be better off“

“I was craving pupusas and was looking around for a new spot since all the ones around the south bay area are so so or haven't been so good. I called ahead to place my order. I ordered about 15 pupusas. When I arrived I checked in the counter and was given a 15 minute ETA for completion but i ended up getting my food in 10min. When I got home I was pleasantly surprised my pupusas were neatly packaged and were wrapped individually so they wouldn't get stuck to each other. The pupusas looked and smelled great. They were a little on the greesier side but I don't mind. I am usually not optimistic about the curtido (not sure if that's how you spell it lol) and the red sauce but let me tell you it was fire .. they were both done right and the Lemus restaurant was not stingy with the amount they gave out. The revueltas were really good and had a good mix of stuffing inside they were not stingy. The bean and cheese were also good and really cheesey my kids loved them. I will definitely be coming back for some more.“

“My friend and I are gluten free and this was a great find today. I do want to note we are not celiac just allergy. I had a corn (regular) bean and cheese pupusa while she tried the rice masa pupusa with spinach, onions and cheese. We both really liked our hoices and the cabbage salad. We also got a cheese tamale - note these are not like Mexican tamales but a much softer texture. We also got an order of platanos. The owners were so friendly and got to chat and learned that Jorge opened the restaurant in 2006 so they have been around a very long time. Highly recommend and we will return.“

“My family was in the mood for Central American food and after a quick google search I found this small hole in the wall restaurant.Glad I came here the food was delicious. The pepperoni popusas were bomb and cheesy (a lot of places skimp out on the cheese not here) . The garnachas were also good an order gets you 8!!!. “Good spot for a quick bit or a full meal. I stop like ritual every morning for my pan con frijoles/huevos/creso duro, can't go wrong. The food is delicious and the girls are nice, not mean like other places I've gone. I think it is a spot that is underrated, been in a corner, no parking lot. Feels cozy. Like one of those little spots, you go in El Salvador and get surprised.“

“I came here with my friend for pupusas, and they made them fresh. The whole restaurant is El Salvadorian themed and the owner is very nice! I am vegetarian and I got the bean and cheese pupusa, and my friend got the chicken and beef ones. They both were delicious!“

“Everything is so amazing about this place, im being looking for the right salvadorean restaurant for more then a year when I work in Los Angeles and I was always very disappointed with the food..... Noe and his wife welcome us and make us feel like at home, and the food was spectacular for a very fare price. Eve my Co worker from Ecuador was so pleased with this salvadoran restaurant. “Biggest thing to know is that is cash only. The place is very compact, but homey.

“This a great place for pupusas.I had both a loroco and a revuelta pupusa. The loroco was very cheesy and had a very nice light veggie taste from the blossoms. The revuelta was full of flavor and not overly salty.The cortiodo had a nice bite to it and a pleasant balance between the herbs and vinegar.I also had a tamale de elote, it tasted very fresh. It came with crema and beans, and was a nice finish to my lunch.I think they make their own tamarindo Agua fresca - it had a nice tartness without being overly sweet.“

He decided to try it. I placed an order online through Grub Hub for pickup. He waited the 20 minutes for it to be ready. Only to show up and find out they don't do online orders. Well, whatever, I will order in person, but it turns out that they only accept cash......they must have card services...there are people who use cards, because we don't use cash on the streets,,They need that service“

“Rubio's cafe is one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal. I usually go for lunch, but today I tried their breakfast. 10/10 you feel like family when you’re in there. I wish I could eat here every single day. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, the plantains were so perfectly caramelized with the perfect bite of crunch on the outside and soft, sweet banana on the inside. The orange, carrot juice is unmatched. It never tastes that good when I make it at home. If you haven’t tried Rubio’s cafe yet, let this be your sign.“
