“It's been awhile that we ate at JITB, but this is a neat neighborhood burger joint. Particularly the staff behind the counter were very accommodating especially for a party of five. Parking was easy. And of course, we enjoyed the Jack burgers.“

“Very unassuming place. It looks modest and you would never guess how phenomenal the food is! Everything is freshly made. Hand cut folded wrapped prepped you got it. Best tacos I've tasted on this side of the border. Seating and parking is limited.“

“We stopped by while visiting LA, in search of good local tacos and Taco La 26 did not disappoint!!! The tortillas were fresh, the salsa was delicious & the al pastor was my favorite! I love that they have free roasted potato’s and onions, so no matter what you get a filling meal.

You order at the food station then pay at the counter with the square machines. No where to sit but honestly they’ll be gone before you could sit down.

It is a block from skid row, & as tourist we weren’t familiar - but like anywhere else, just pay attention to your surroundings. The location is gated and there’s plenty of parking.

Open late and so delicious! 10/10 recommend & would DEFINITELY eat here again.“

“These are hands down the best tacos I’ve had in LA. And I’ve had a lot of tacos in the country. Plus for the price (2 bucks a taco), you can’t beat eating this stuff. Highly recommend for any locals of the areas. We got the chicken, pastor, and asada. All a recommend, and you can load up on your own toppings, def get the onions and jalapeño if you love spice.“

“This place was phenomenal. The staff and owner were so friendly and engaging. The food was top tier. I had the street tacos and Avocado rolls. The tacos were portioned really well and the shredded beef was flavorful. The Avocado rolls tasted so fresh and the roll was light and fluffy. I could eat the roll without any fillingb, thats how good it was. The sauce that came with it was good as well. The fresh juice was a winner as well. The customer service, price, portion size, and freshness of the ingredients makes this place 5 star. I will definitely visit again and recommend this place as 10 out of 10.“

“I visited Tacos Tumbras a Tomas at Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles.

I ordered the carnitas tacos, which are one of their specialties.
The pork was flavorful and tender, and the portion was surprisingly large.
They also asked whether I wanted the salsa spicy or mild, which was nice because I could choose it based on my preference.

The amount of meat was so generous that one order was more than enough to fill me up.
They also provide extra tortillas, so you can make additional tacos with the generous amount of meat.

The tacos were delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. I was especially impressed by the portion size for the price.

The stand has been serving Michoacan-style carnitas at Grand Central Market for many years, and it’s easy to see why it has remained popular.

If you’re visiting Grand Central Market and want to try a hearty and affordable Mexican meal, I definitely recommend stopping by!“

“I see Brother's Cousin Taco stands filled with people every week and I finally got a chance to try. I got there earlier around 5:30, so the line was a lot shorter than usual. It smelled amazing and everyone working there is super nice. The tacos are $2 & filled with meat. I ordered 4, but only finished 2 and the next day the corn tortillas held up so well after I reheated it. Which is solid because most street tacos tortillas will usually fall apart. They had option of hot sauces, including a mild cactus hot sauce. Also a variety of toppings you can stick In a little bag instead of using those plastic ramekins.

This is a cash only establishment but they take Venmo. I will absolutely be back more often since I usually never have cash on me, which is why I didn't go over before. This is truly such a LA Vibe for amazing street food.“
