Starbucks in Hayward

“I am not from this area and stopped in on 6/7/24 with a big order. There were 3 "issues" which I do not feel the need to mention specifics because a young man corrected each one with me not even having to ask/suggest. Sadly I did not get his name (about 6', white, glasses) but because he went above and beyond I felt the need to come leave him a glowing review!“

“Basically Starbucks is a franchise location built on a established expectation for what you should receive. So once again, Starbucks at this particular location gets five stars because they deliver on all expectations. If you like Starbucks no reason not to go to this location. Although you could combine your visit like going to the Target across the street, which also has a Starbucks inside.“

“I’m a regular at this location and stopped by early in the morning to get a Bear cup for my girl. The team let us know they hadn’t received any additional cups since launch.

While I was there, a man and his pregnant wife became extremely aggressive and started cornering and harassing the manager over the cups being sold out. It was uncomfortable to watch, and honestly, I was worried for the manager’s safety because of how hostile the situation got. Who even makes their pregnant wife wait outside in the cold?

Even though they were dealing with that, the staff still stayed calm, professional, and friendly. They made sure everyone else was helped and still got my coffee out quickly before I went in for work.“

“As a first responder, I love caffeine first thing in the morning to start my day! I remember that previously I had ordered a coffee and their machines were down so they couldn’t prepare the coffee I had ordered but the manager of this establishment had still gotten me a coffee to help me with my troubles and gave me a refund for my original order! Not only did I leave a tip but that was an amazing way to start the day! Usually I am always taking care of someone else…but it was really nice to have someone take care of me too the love in the community of Hayward is why I do what I do and this just made my day! I had an amazing shift though the hardships of work because I kept remembering that someone held a helping hand to me ❤️ Thank you so much for taking care of us!“

“Called for a quick coffee.
Friendly staff and clean tidy estaishment. Would return.
We had lattes and muffins, they were as expected, ideal with our beverages. I would recommend this shop if you are nearby. Restrooms and wheelchair access are good.

“Knowing the area, I’m appreciative that the staff makes an effort to keep the location clean and inviting for guests. The restroom is clean, and food and drinks are served fast.

I would like to especially give a shoutout to the cashier Emani who is so lovely. She has a very positive attitude, is welcoming, and professional. Thank you, Emani!“

“I will be honest the first time I have this location a really bad receive because I had a bad experience with them giving me a drink that I had an allergic reaction too. I was so frustrated I asked to speak to a manager. And let me tell you they have the best manager I have ever met! She more than took care of my issue and she helped me to really love this location.Ms, Joby Is the most humble and understanding manager, she will go as far as to get on her hands and knees and assist all her staff. The world need more leadership like this! I am more than impressed with the service. Today Ms. Joby took care of my needs and i am so grateful to have been assisted by her! They have much integrity here!“

“If you get anything other than coffee, your opinion is invalid. I'm sorry, but people who don't get coffee drinks are always the most entitled and inpatient. Please, these are baristas, not machines. If you don't like long wait times, don't contribute by ordering unessesary drinks. After all, this is a coffee shop, go to McDonald's or 711 for your fun drinks!!“

“A really good Starbucks with a decent amount of seating (including at least 4 tables for two outside, two of which had umbrellas), plenty of parking, SUPER friendly staff, and good drinks (I didn't eat anything, but it all looked delicious!).

Not a huge amount of outlets for charging, but the place was spotless, and Starbucks merch was plentiful if you're into that kind of thing. The tunes they had spinning weren't too bad, either. =)“

“During my recent visit to the Starbucks on campus, I encountered a few hiccups that I'd like to share. As a fellow student, I understand the learning curve that comes with any job, and I appreciate the efforts of the staff.While I was eager to try the pink drink, unfortunately, it wasn't available when I ordered, and there were no other strawberry-flavored options in stock. Though disappointed, I know these things happen, especially in a busy environment like a campus Starbucks.Opting for a frappe instead, I found it to be a bit too chocolatey for my taste and was not impressed. Additionally, the shortage of straws led to a minor inconvenience, with only a spoon offered as an alternative. However, I must commend the staff for their quick thinking in finding a solution. I had no choice but to smile and walkaway with my drink at hand. Another person in the store apologized, and I overheard him telling the server to tell the customers that there are no more straws before handing them a drink with no straw. Which is a simple and brilliant idea. Again, it shows that everyone is learning and we can’t be mad at that.Despite these challenges, I want to emphasize that I understand everyone is doing their best, and I appreciate their efforts. While I may not rush back before class for another coffee, I recognize that Starbucks remains a convenient option for those in need of a caffeine boost on campus. Keep up the good work, and thank you for your dedication.“
