It was not on the menu, but the chef got right on it so that when we arrived at 6 o’clock with our daughter, turning 16, a most unique and beautiful birthday cake was ready. “Healdsburg's best kept secret is Otoro Sushi, but thankfully it doesnt stop at just sushi. I happened upon this restaurant after going to my favorite place to shop for landscaping sculptures and misc. decor in Healdsburg, Garrett Hardware which happens to Otoro. Today, on my way home from UCSF we decided to try it out and to say we were in love at first bite would not be an understatement. We started off with a bowl of their soup which was delightful followed by a serving of tempura vegetables 😋😜 and we could not get enough or pick which one was our favorite. Then onto the main course one Bento Box with Teriyaki Chicken and its sides along with our sushi which consisted of 2- California Rolls, 2-Shrimp Tempura Rolls, 1-Yum Yum Roll 😋 (My Favorite) It came by its name for a reason and finally a Jalapeño Bomb Roll which is going home to the boy . 👦The only thing I forgot to add is I cant wait to go back.“

“Small little restaurant with big menu of offerings.
We loved that the restaurant is practically divided in half with one side brightly lit with families and the other dimly lit with couples. Made for an easier, more pleasant dining experience. Our server was very good in making recommendations and filling our order quickly.
Our group enjoyed a bottle of sake, sukiyaki, hamachi kama, vegetarian rolls, miso soup, and steak teriyaki. Everything was in good portions and well prepared. Mochi and ice cream with bananas ended the meal well.
We would definitely recommend eating here.“
