“Found this place driving through the area and am glad I tried it out. Not what I'm used to being from further north but the nice lady taking orders helped me pick something and it tasted great. Salsa is a little hottt but flavor is good.“

“Went to D’Poly’s (12/19) upon the recommendation of two local coworkers. It did not disappoint! Two of us ordered the Chile Santo, and another friend ordered a Torta. For the table, chips and guacamole.The sangria was presented beautifully and tasted good. We had an amazing server (I think her name was Helen?) who helped with recommendations.Since I have been working out in Imperial Valley for a few months, I have been to a few Mexican restaurants. This one stands out among the rest! It was busy despite being a weekday.One thing that was odd was how loud the music was in the lady’s restroom.“

“It's a small authentic restaurant. The chips and salsa are complimentary and great, so everyone is going to experience that.The staff is friendly and fast. The food was really good. We bought 3 separate dishes for my group and they were all really good.The bathrooms were clean as well.“

“Today was my first visit to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend.I'm a big fan of chicken fried steak and eggs. This place did an awesome job making the dish. The chicken fried steak was prepared fresh and was topped with white country gravy. I chose hash browns over the other options available. For my toast option I chose the English muffin; buttered of course. I also ordered one single pancake not knowing how much food would be served. The portions are large, tasty and filling. I ordered ice tea for my beverage. One thing I liked was that they provide a carafe of additional iced tea to pour your own refills. Total review: no negatives“

“Best Tortas ever!!!!!! We stopped here before crossing over to Mexicali; it's a lil store & you order, the gentleman that helped us was super nice we each ordered a torta. I ordered the Machaca and egg torta, and my husband ordered the ham, chorizo egg and sausage; they were fast & lots of other goodies to choose from..The tortas were huge! For under $10 what a steal!! I didn't finish mine, but I tried, I wish I had taken pictures..“

“Saw this place online and had some good reviews. Stopped in while in Imperial and it was so quaint. Nice family ran business and very friendly too. I had the shrimp taco plate and it was good. Wishing for some lime crema sauce but it still was delicious. Hubby had a Como taco/burrito and he really liked it. Now they have a Special quesodilla that is huge! Kinda like a empanada on steroids or a huge Mexican calzone. It's really fantastic. We got ours with Carne asada and will enjoy it for dinner tonight.“

“I eat here at least once a month. This is one of my favorite resturants and my all time favorite Mexican restaurant and I have eaten at many all over California, Arizona, Texas, and several other states.My most recent visit was Sunday, 01/28/2024 . There were five in our party and they were very busy, but even still we were seated after a brief wait at their bar. Our server was a young lady and she was polite, funny, and attentive. Our food arrived in a timely manner and it was all good. Their enchiladas are wonderful. I especially enjoy their chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, and zucchini enchiladas, but everything here is delish. My friend raves about their Mexican coffee.The Resturant is small and they pack as many tables as they can in it, so sometimes you may find yourself sitting close to another table. Because of this we try to go at less busy times: after 9 am, before 11:30 and after 1Pm. Dinner time is usually less crowded.Parking: There is a small parking lot and then plenty of free parking on the street. It is a 2 hr limit during business days and hours.“

“Best carne asada in the valley, hands down. Meat has great flavor and never under- or over- cooked. I’ve been a customer for years and they’ve never disappointed. Guacamole tacos, special quesadillas and red enchiladas with chicken and cheese are my favorites. Staff is always in a good mood, friendly and very helpful, even new employees, which speaks of the owner’s dedication in providing her customers with the best experience.“

“Went here Sunday 7/16/23 and man, was it delicious!!I've been coming here for a while, and this place never lets me down. I always get the "Red-Menudo." And I don't know what their secret is, but it's damn good!!I give this place a big "Viva Mexico," and 5 stars baby!!“

“This place has been my favorite for years! The food is amazing, it's american food but with a fusion of mexican. The service is always great. The ambiance is awesome! You can go watch any game. It's a sport bar/restaurant after all. What I really do enjoy is that some booths have televisions on their little stall. So you can watch any show privately. One of my all time favorite to eat there is their chipotle fries...they are fire“

“To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. I really don't like to speak bad about no one. My wife and I decided to give this place a try. Ordered a white menudo and an order of quesabirrias. The menudo lacked a lil flavor and so did the consomé to the quesabirrias. The quesabirrias were quite tasty, but not the menudo.“

“First of all, the place is neat! I've been there a few times; the first two times I was on my lunch and had enough time to go back in less than 30min, meaning, they're FAST. I took my niece last time I went, she's a picky eater and she loved it. The food is really tasty, they're fast and also very nice to their customers, the place is always clean, and also really pretty and perfect for the IG's pictures. I totally recommend it.“

“I like Taco Bell because the specials on combos are very good. The area at Walmart in Calexico is clean. And with enough space. Customer clients are very serious, rarely they laugh or tell you good day.But they are fast in serving the food. “The food here is absolutely delicious! We tried the Green Pozole and Chilaquiles. Both of these dishes tasted like they were made at home, so the name "Antojitos Como En Casa" is fitting.Our waiter sat us down and took our order quickly, but was nowhere to be found after that. I had to ask another waiter for the check. Beside that, the atmosphere was great - great music playing in the background and the restaurant was quite busy but not hectic on a Sunday morning.Overall, the food here is fantastic, and I would highly recommend you check it out.“

“I had borrego tacos and cabeza tacos and let me tell you.... They were soooohooo gooood!!! I inhaled them so fast that I forgot to take a picture of the tacos. But I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place. The people were so welcoming too. The cabeza was well seasoned and the borrego was the best I've ever had. I'm definitely looking forward to going back to taste more of the menu. Oh and the restroom was clean which is a huge plus!“

“The kitchen of Briseida is the best authentic Mexican food place you can go in the valley. I’m a very allergic (on high preservatives) person when it comes to food and going to eat outside of my home. “We had to stop in Calexico and found this great little spot. We did have a little wait time since they were understaffed but it was worth the wait! The food was delicious! Clean restaurant and beautifully decorated. Too bad we live far away. If I am in the area again, I would definitely be back.“

“We stop at rosa's restaurant in calexico in our way to mexico and we love the decoration with flowers in the restaurant. The food was delicious,the chips, salsa and guacamole were fresh made. My surprise was when they brought the big steak cooked to perfection. My friends ask for the chile relleno and the ceviche and that was a lot of food. We met Rosa after we finish our meals and she ask how our food was. She is a very nice happy person that enjoys cooking. “Hubby and I had a wonderful breakfast here. We have odd food intolerances (gf, night shade free and vegetarian) and easily found options on the menu. We love supporting family businesses and quirky places and Cecilia's ticks those boxes.Cecilia, who started the business with her husband in 1994 is still running the restaurant, and her, along with her twin sister and cousin gave us great service and conversation.“

“Always good!My husband and I stopped in for a light dinner. He had a small size shrimp cocktail and we shared the tostada plate which consisted of 2 beef tostadas, rice and beans. The tostadas were very, very, good. The corn tortillas had just been fried and they were crispy and warm. The shredded beef was tender and flavorful. There was a small container of warm, mild salsa, which was a very nice addition. There was also beans and rice. The beans are served in a freshly fried tortilla shell , shaped into a bowl. So cute and so good.We eat here about once a month and tonight the wait staff was as always friendly, knowledge about the menu, eager to see us happy, and made us feel like family.You won’t be disappointed. Second perfect job communicating with the customer man I wish my location I worked at would have been as amazing as this one. “I love this place. Probably one of the best tacos guisados in the valley. On par with the loncheria in Calexico. Salsa is bomb tortillas are bomb the tacos are bomb. I personally like the huevo con tocino. However, my other go to's are papas con chorizo and bitsek ranchero. Their frijol con queso is really good too. Check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Definitely my top 3 loncherias in the valley.“

“I went in and I got a bowl of ensalada de fruta and it had cottage cheese on it and my pregnant girlfriend can’t have that and they gave me a new one without it and let me keep the one with cheese I just wanna give a thanks to the guy that helped me with that I didn’t get his name but thank you so much I appreciate it and God Bless “

“Driving by and saw this thought I’d give it a try. The lady at the front told me her recommendations and I got the Carne Asada burrito and some Carne Asada tacos. Food was just amazing. They also had a bunch of salsas, limes, and veggies to the side to add to your food for your liking. Food, service, atmosphere was a 10/10.“

“Wow!!!? I was staying at the Days Inn ? and the clerk recommended this place. I was not disappointed! First of all…I sat in the bar area since I was coming in by myself. The service from bartender was top notch. I ask what IPA ? beers they had and he brought over and of them to my table have me choose which one I preferred. Them the ? soup of 7 Mars (7 seas) was excellent. I ordered the garlic shrimp ? which was tasty ?. I will definitely come back when I’m in town.“
