Parking was difficult but it might have been my unfamiliarity with the area. Ended up parking in the “back” which also has an entrance.“

“on a rainy day, the soft lighting, gentle music, and comfortable seating provided a nice cozy escape from outside. the service was incredible from all - I love when the owner is out taking care of customers too and especially when they make you feel right at home from the first impression.
we ordered the old world wine tasting trio special, focaccia bread, arugula salad, mini corn dogs, and swordfish which were all delicious.
at the end they brought over a birthday cupcake from their connected bakery as we were celebrating a birthday. the frosting was my favorite kind with a really rich flavor and texture.“

This location is located in the Culver City Cuisine pick up area and I order from restaurants here all the time and had no idea moon bowls was located there as well. So good and healthy! “We were exploring Main Street and got hungry. Sat in the back patio which was covered but still had air flowing so it wasn’t hot and stuffy. We ordered mozzarella sticks, fish taco, taco plate and the chicken sandwich. Portions were massive! Ordered a cocktail and beer too. We were so full that we had to take a siesta after our meal. Oh, they’re also dog friendly.“

I have a gluten allergy, and the staff immediately explained that they are a gluten-free restaurant and even pointed out the other allergy-free options (such as soy-free). We are definitely coming back here soon!“

“Eric the manager today, Oct. 14, 2024, demonstrated exceptional customer service and friendliness. There was an issue with a female employee which I believe he privately and graciously addressed to my satisfaction. She assumed I was a homeless person in need of a bathroom. I use a walker. She refused to allow me to enter nor did she direct me to a place where I could enter. I never asked for a bathroom. She said I could go to Starbucks next door where there is a bathroom. She did not listen to me at all and was rude and inconsiderate.
Eric was also thorough with my orders and I appreciated it because I made several changes to suit my friends and my tastebuds. He went out of his way to make me feel valued as a customer. And lastly he escorted me to my car and made sure I knew how to enter the restaurant through the parking lot next time. Eric made my experience at Mendocino Farms very very pleasant. Thank you so much Eric.

“I missed it first time passing thru because it was blocked by sketchy people waiting for the bus. When I turned around and parked, went in -saw it was cash or check only- so had to go find an ATM. But back. Pricey @$2.95/each or $35.40 dozen which was what I got. No discount at all ? I'd say it's good, softer and more sticky than other mochi I've ever had.. but not worth a long trip out. It's an hr. drive from me, but I had business/work nearby later that day so I could come early to try get some. Been trying to catch it for years as their open hours & my non-work hours never matched. It finally did & although was a real treat-my birthday gift to self, it's not that much special for the drive. I got pretty much 1 of each.. the best were the egg-like mung beans with sesame seeds, pink and orange mochi. I made mistake getting the red beans with sticky rice-don't recommend unless you're eating it right away.. it fermented more whilst inside the car as I was at work. The rest held well, may need 2 iced coolers packets not 1 small 1.

Parking: Street parking in front but it is on a VERY busy street and there's a bus stop in front so that's main annoyance.“

“Wow so freaking good!! Genuinely the best bowl I’ve ever had. I got the mixed grilled chicken bowl with lemon thyme sauce while my boyfriend got the same but with the chipotle sauce. Both were great! Pretty cute they wrote a little thank you note on the take out box too:)

If I were to complain about anything it would be to add a little more protein portion to eat bowl. Otherwise I highly recommend this place!“
