“Met up with a big group of friends here for a mini reunion. Plenty of seating for us. Our waitress was super friendly, accommodating and attentive as was the bartender. We order all sorts of foods - chicken sandwich, fries sampler, chicken fingers, steak dip sandwich, salad, cheeseburger, etc. Good bar food. Hennessey's lemonade was a yummy cocktail.“

“Library is by far one of my favorite places on Main Street. I recently saw V. B's review on yelp and I was so confused. As someone who has dealt with VB personally at my business, I award the patience of this establishment for continuing to let her in over and over again. She is 86'd at my bar and every other bar on the street. I love this place!“

“Update, came to try their version of rosé tteokbokki because I'm all about that these days. Lol. My son also got the katsu curry. First of all the tteokbokki. It was pretty good. Could maybe use a touch more cream, but otherwise was very good. I finished the whole thing and was very full. There was the usual suspects, rice cakes, fish cakes, cabbage, and some kind of broad glass noodle? I've never seen that before and I thought maybe some plastic or something might have fallen in by accident but it was clearly meant to be part of the dish. I didn't hate it. The chicken katsu was excellent. Breading was good and proper and the meat was moist and tender. The katsu curry was well plated. Curry sauce was much better than before. Thicker and not as runny. Flavor was good too. The arugula salad was delicious and a good punchy, fresh element to cut the richness of the curry. I like the pickled radish but I also would have liked the regular radish kimchi in addition but they didn't provide it. All in all, totally satisfying and the girl who helped us was nice too. I will definitely be returning.“

“Gulp is a nice lunch getaway in Playa Vista with both inside and outside seating. The staff is very attentive and brought water without even asking. I order the nachos and they were FULL! No shortage of ingredients or chicken on the nachos. The chips were crispy and easy to scoop a good amount of toppings without breaking. Unfortunately I didn't grab any photos because I ordered togo, however this restaurant is a gem.“

“Good long happy hour specials. Bartenders are friendly and good at their job. Locals can be easy to make conversations with. Wish a bit more variety of people, def a neighborhood joint. Never gets super busy in the times I've been. Glad to be close by.“
“One of the best pool halls I've been to.Easy to find location with plenty of free self parking.Clean and very well kept. The tables are in excellent shape.Very friendly staff.Went there on a Saturday afternoon. Although all the tables were in use, it took about 30 min for one to open up.The tables are spread apart well and has plenty of room to walk around the tables.Other players there seemed friendly.Didn't sense any hostility or intimidation.Good music playing. They only serve drinks. There's a Domino's pizza next door if you're hungry. We played for about 3 hours. I think it's $8/Hr before 7pmLove this place! Will definitely be going back.“

“Please come visit Mikey at Astro pub in Playa. Vista. This Whole Foods. Food is beautiful. The service is beyond beyond imagination and I've owned a restaurant for 27 years. It feels like home. All because of this guy Mike he truly knows how to run that joint! 5“

“Atmosphere was what you would expect from a sports bar. Visiting from out of town, we sat at the bar promptly greeted by a bartender. Service was fine, the food was exceptional. Not above what you would expect from your typical Bar. The bartender recommended that we have the quesadilla as an appetizer, and we were certainly not disappointed. my wife had the BLTA it was huge and quite good. I have the devil’s Philly. It was also not disappointed. The soup was beef barley, which was probably the highlight of the meal. If you’re in the area, you should definitely give them a shot.“

“Sports bar vibes. They hold the famous turtle races every Thursday and Saturday. During the races there is a ton of shouting and cheering for which turtle you places your "bet" on. Arrive early and grab a seat or spot around the race circle and get ready to cheer for your favorite turtle. They have a ton of beer. But as a person who doesn't drink alcohol it is still a fun environment and they have sodas and redbulls. On other days they have trivia nights and pool tables and corn hole. It's a great spot for big groups. The food there is also surprisingly great. It's all bar food but at least it is good bar.“
“So I had a weird experience once, but ever since, this place has stepped up their game!! I come in just for Jess because she's awesome, and Mariah's customer service skills and bartending technique have vastly improved!! This place is exactly what you're looking for if you're into dive bars, like I am. Great sports on every tv, pool table with a bunch of regulars always happy to welcome you to the table, and an amazing sense of community. One off night shouldn't affect a Yelp score so I'm upping from a 3 to a 5! This place is great! Definitely stop in and say what's up to Jess and Mariah!!“
