“Tony’s Darts Away – Review:
Tony’s Darts Away is a lively, casual spot known for its fun, relaxed atmosphere and pub-style menu. It specializes in comfort food like burgers, wings, and sandwiches, often paired with craft beers and cocktails. Guests appreciate the friendly, welcoming vibe, making it a great place to hang out with friends, watch sports, or enjoy a night out. The portions are generous, and the flavors are solid, though it’s more about hearty, satisfying meals than fine dining. Overall, Tony’s Darts Away is a go-to for casual, fun dining with good drinks and a social environment.“

“It's a small dolphins bar. Glad we came, My boyfriend is a huge dolphins and heat fan. Everyone who came cheered on the dolphins and they won the game. Seats were filled and packed with dolphin fans! It was great. I found one seat at the bar and the owner Tony was really nice. Got me a beer right away and my friends came we enjoyed a pizza from Lucifers from down the st and enjoyed the night.
Parking: Parking is on the street. And you can find any spot nearby. It's not a far walk. Or behind the bar too..
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheel chair accessible. Wide wall ways when entering the bar“

“My dad and I came here for Easter brunch and it was delicious! The angus rib eye was cooked perfectly. We came again the next day to try their fish and chips, which did not disappoint. Could definitely see myself becoming a regular at the pub.“

“Great food options and good drinks. There is a line for the restaurant or go just past that and there is the bar which is connected. If you're not getting food and just want drinks, go into the bar area. Pro tip, there is a patio in the back and it's much quieter out there but still has a great atmosphere.“

“Vegetarian options: Their guac is vegan friendly
Parking: After I think 11ish the $20 valet parking lot is free. If you're going early park at the ralphs down the street and walk to the bar.
Kid-friendliness: It's a bar 21+ they ID as soon as you walk in.
Wheelchair accessibility: I don't think I saw any stairs to the entrance. But the set up inside is fairly crowded and dark idk how accessible that is unless you're a paraolympian with nightvision“

“Great food. I ordered the chicken blt and chips and salsa. The salsa wasn't hot enough but ooh well it was good enough. Andrew the bartender was amazing. The karoke was nice. My only problem is the karoke host did not at any time wipe down any mics after countless people used it and with the drinks flowing and people having a good time like me that made me nervous. I wanted so bad to get up there and sing.“

“This Irish bar feels like a true local hangout—welcoming, familiar, and full of character. On most nights, it transforms into a lively spot showcasing emerging performers, which adds a fun, energetic edge. I often drop by for a drink, catch a game on the TVs, and enjoy the laid-back neighborhood atmosphere. Every now and then, I’ll plan a visit around a live performance, and it never disappoints. It’s the kind of place that balances great entertainment with the comfort of a classic community pub.“

“Me & my husband go here regularly. Amazing staff, food is ace! real taste of home. We often go with our family and every time- food, drinks & staff have been spot on. The Tuck shop next door 🚪 OMG do not get me started we easily spend a small fortune each time. Because we know we can stock up & the price is reasonable. we actively choose to drive their rather than go online because it's about supporting other businesses & expats. This pub truly has an English atmosphere. Reminds me home UK & Ireland. THEY GOT CRACKERS IN! birds custard, every sweet you could want. if you are British & you are in LA. if you ent been here...are you even britsh?“

“Cool little bar that serves craft beer and has a good happy hour. Nice outdoor patio. I guess if you are in this area you don't have many options but it's a cute little town with many restaurants and bars in walking distance. Will definitely come back if in the area.“

“It is a good neighborhood bar. Plenty of beers, wine and liquor to choose from. Very comfortable outdoor space and friendly staffs. Reasonable prices.
The nachos that we had was very good, perfect portion, tender and flavorful pull pork. But the Poke salad had way too much vinaigrette dressing in it, it was drowning in it and the last part of the salad was not edible. Overall, a good place to chill if you want a little break from The Row.“

“Its been a long time establishment in the community catering to its devoted clientele, especially to its hispanic and LGBTQ community. As recently as last Friday night, the Silver Platter has prevailed in its effort to provide an outlet of entertainment and appreciation for the community that it supports.
They've upgraded their environment and at one time also provided valet parking, however, with the current stringent limited parking availability, it's been difficult to accommodate and support this historic bar; very much worth a visit though. With the support of those who know this bar well, they should be commended to continue to support a mainstay of L.A.
It's been a while since I posted the above review. It's January 31, 2026. The Silver Platter, subject to being evicted and demolished should definitely be relocated. Its historic value and undeniably a dive bar, provides an ambiance that is unique to its community. Those that can't appreciate the need and value of this establishment in serving the community are too quick to criticize its patrons and deficiencies. This place is a haven to many. It exists to enjoy a cold beer, enjoy the music, people watch and have some fun. We should do what we can to keep the Silver Platter thriving!“

“A solid neighborhood bar with certain teams playing on the TVs and the occasional random movie. I lived on the same street, and it was a great spot to stop by during the day for bar food or later for a nightcap. The staff is always cool. My only real gripe is the points system, which can be a bit of a hassle. Other than that, it’s a great place—especially for Dodgers and Tottenham games. Very hipster vibe, but if you’re comfortable being yourself, it’s a cool spot.“

“4.5 stars - We were bar-hopping in the neighborhood after the LA Beer Fest and found this gem. Massive space, including a covered outdoor area. Games like ping pong and such. Reasonable prices. Friendly bartender, even though they were quite busy. Highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood. I’ll be back!“
