“I’ve been laid up recovering from a major surgery recently. So I’ve been making a point to order from a lot of the local restaurants. Mexican food is my comfort food go to so I’ve been hitting up all of the locals.

I ordered the posole and the albondigas soup.

Albondigas: the broth was thicker and richer than a lot of others. It was generously filled with the meatballs and plenty of vegetables. You get a large container and it’s absolutely delicious.

Posole: again, the broth was very thick and Rich. They might thicken it with tortilla chips, which is a common thing, but the flavors are there. Large chunks of slow cooked pork. Very good lean chunks that are fall apart tender. No grizzly bits or extra extraneous fat. Was absolutely a pleasure to eat and hit every single spot.

Overall, this place is a fantastic little gem. The homemade flour tortillas just add an extra little delight to the entire meal. I couldn’t be happier than to have this place in my backyard. If you’re considering going, it’s gonna be very hard to find something you don’t like about their food“

I can’t say enough how incredibly delicious this restaurant was. I called my friend, Dan R (Legendary, Venice, Photographer, and the world ) for a recommendation on some delicious Mexican food. He laughed and said Tacomiando (why he was laughing just delivered him food from the restaurant… he said this is definitely the best in the area and he was not mistaken. This food from the cleanliness of the restaurant to how nice and helpful the staff was I always judge a restaurant on their chips. As well, I can honestly say these chips were incredible along with everything I’ve tried. I almost forgot to mention they’re incredible salsa bar. Hope you can see in the photo, but it was quite extensive. ✨🤩😍

“These are hands down the best tacos I’ve had in LA. And I’ve had a lot of tacos in the country. Plus for the price (2 bucks a taco), you can’t beat eating this stuff. Highly recommend for any locals of the areas. We got the chicken, pastor, and asada. All a recommend, and you can load up on your own toppings, def get the onions and jalapeño if you love spice.“

The truck looked very clean and the tables were also. The chairs are sturdy. The horchata was pretty good, on the light side and refreshing. There are planes that fly over but it didn’t bother us. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was.
I was now anxious to have my fave food in life - beef tacos! THEY WERE out of this world.

“Food: The meat is moist, tender and flavorful. Authentic Michoacan style slow cook pork. If you love pork, this is the place to be. I highly recommend the mix carnitas since you get a little of everything. I also love the lengua, pork skins, and buche - the stomach. Portion size is very generous, each order is fully loaded. Service was friendly, and they give you bite size sample while you wait of if you can't decide what to get. You can sit at the bar but plenty of tables inside or outdoor. You get a lot for the price, you can actually split a taco into two.“
