“I ordered 2 create your own bowl, the fish is really good but their portions aren't satisfying. The fish portions are good you get 2 choices but the rice is like nothing. They give you a choice between double rice or rice and seaweed salad, id recommended the double rice but then you get no seaweed salad. Compared to other poke places, they don't offer topping like the crunchy onion or sesame seeds. Overall it taste good and the scenery is really comforting, the worker seemed a bit distracted or annoyed though.“

“I love L&L and frequent different locations often. The Palm Ave location just cannot seem to get an entire order correct and it’s frustrating because I know the service expectation of the brand. Give them some guidance on preparing multiple meals correctly for a single order.

“So I just used DoorDash to order a pork combo. I wanted a plate with all rice but I guess I ordered it wrong. When I got my food there was a note attached to my food and they got exactly what I wanted. To the employee who wrote the note THANK YOU! You’re an amazing employee. It's almost great, but the dark meat is almost always over cooked. It tastes like it was scraped of the grill. Imagine if there was left over grime in a skillet. It just tastes charcoaly“

“Filipina lady is nice and gave us good amount of food that a two person can share in one order. Food was also delicious! I don’t understand with these one star reviews though. I think it’s great price compare the outside base meals. Super filling as well.

“Never been to Hawaii and now I don't have to 😁 I got the plain, guava, and Bavarian cream. They were really good and the coffee was bomb. My Bavarian cream had a little chocolate on it and I was not mad at that. If they had a mix, I would get it. Donut was fluffy and not oily tasting.“

“I ordered pinakbet, chicharon bulaklak, and menudo for pick-up from Carlitos Family Restaurant, and everything was delicious! The flavors brought me right back to home-cooked meals from my childhood. When I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm, family-style setting—and even karaoke was happening! It felt nostalgic and comforting, like stepping into a family gathering. Although I only grabbed takeout this time, I’m definitely planning to dine in next time to soak in more of that vibe.

“We had my dad’s retirement party here at JJ’s Island Grindz and our host was Ellis I cannot speak highly enough on the service he provided for us it will be unmatched. He treated us like family, very attentive, very respectful, on time with everything very professional. I just want to thank him and his crew for providing excellent customer service love and care to our family and friends. The food was amazing the drinks were delicious and had a great presentation. “The only negative I have to say is the location. However the food was great. I got the short ribs. The meat was tender. My partner got that katsu and it's the crunch that gets me. Delicious. The Mac salad was good too. No weird after taste of fish oil that I've had at other places.“
