“Went there today! Ordered the #6 Samoan corn beef which it wasn’t more like Libby’s can brand! Can tell your difference. It was so dry and little to no onions. So disappointing.. ordered 3 containers of poke and it was all packed in a flimsy, cheap plastic bag. It broke underneath the bag grabbing it from the handle picking it up from the car floor. Thankfully and luckily the containers of poke didn’t open, that smell would not have been great at all! The poke was great closest thing we have here in SD compared to back home in Hawaii. Would not recommend the #6 but poke yes!“

“Good protein options. I went at a not too busy time of day so I also got to quietly sit and enjoy the meal. I only had the PYOP so I can only say that I enjoyed that, but I am sure everything else on the menu is good as well“

“I'm not from around this area and I googled food near me and homestyle Hawaiian came up. Hawaiian sounded good I didn't even really know what Hawaiian food was. Anytime I think of Hawaiian food I think of a luau and a pig with an apple in its mouth. Its kind of in a weird location. It's between a dentist office and a Valvoline oil changing place. There's one lady that got out of her car and went inside and come back out right as I walked in. There was a lady sitting down and eating, a couple off to the side waiting for their food and a man asking how long it was going to take cuz he needed to run across the street real quick. Is really warm in there like they didn't have air conditioning on at all but they did have fans going but it was still really warm in there The doors were open It wasn't hot but it wasn't comfortable either Like I didn't stay and eat which I wanted to but I didn't because it was too warm inside. The couple's food was ready and they cashier handed them their food and then didn't say anything to me like hi how are you, Do you need help, What do you want, do you have any questions... he didn't say anything. He was young though not that's an excuse he needs to learn customer service, but he was super nice once I ordered. The menu has different types of food chicken beef I don't remember what else I do remember they had katsu chicken and lava chicken and the description of them is exactly the same One says it has HH sauce I'm assuming the HH is home styles Hawaiian The katsu chicken has it on the side and the lava chicken has a drizzled over the top. I thought it was strange that they had this item on there twice and it's the same exact thing when they could just say Do you want it on the top or on the side. The sauce is like a sweet BBQ sauce, but not too sweet it still had a barbecue kick in it. I'm not a fan but I don't really like barbecue sauce. I believe it's their signature sauce, I'm guessing, it's probably pretty good I'm just not a fan of barbecue sauces. I ordered the katsu chicken meal which came with white rice and it said on the menu macaroni salad or green salad, but he didn't ask me which one I wanted, just gave me macaroni salad which is what I wanted so I was okay with that. And I ordered a strawberry lemonade which is just a lemonade that they add strawberry flavoring and I couldn't really taste the strawberry. They only had two cups left so thank goodness to me I got a cup. I probably waited maybe 5 minutes for my food. I was there 10 minutes from when I parked to when I left the parking lot. The food was hot, macaroni salad was cold. I just don't think I was a big fan of the chicken with the batter or whatever the katsu crunchy part on the outside of the chicken is. I probably won't return. For people who like Hawaiian or who like katsu chicken it's a good place if you're in the area.
Parking: Not a lot of parking spots.“

“Loved it! Went earlier today and I ordered an iced latte and 6 pack of filled malasadas. My coffee was great, far better than other coffee shops I’ve tried in National City, and was made surprisingly quick. The malasadas were warm and fresh, but some of the fillings were a little too artificial to my liking. Service was also great, the young girl at the front definitely gave off that Aloha vibe, and guided me through the menu as I was a little confused at first. Got my malasadas within 15 minutes, would recommend.“

“Former Maui resident here. Nice place to pick up Spam Musubi! Not much ambience though. Service was just okay. Food came fast. Glad to have a place close by when I’m wanting Hawaiian. Not as good as local food in Hawaii though, but still glad to have it. You should really lower your prices for the Hawaiian Sun fruit drinks. They’re crazy high to charge when I can buy them at Ralph’s. I think it was a 100% mark up. These are inflationary times. Hawaiian food is salty. If the drinks are cheaper, people might order more food and appreciate you more for not price gouging. Something to consider?“

“Located inside the food hub. Let me tell you I ordered the shrimp plate (north shore butter garlic) they offer, I believe 3 different shrimp plates. BUT north shore butter garlic was fuegoooo! ?? Sooo yummy literally reminded me of Giovanni’s shrimp truck on north shore! I will continue to come back and buy this plate. The Mac salad I feel is the best Mac salad In SD & trust I’ve eaten at a lot of plate lunch spots (seasoned good, not too much mayo, nice and cold.) The cashier who helped me was so polite , they ran out of lemons and she apologized for that and offered me limes (which I don’t mind at all, I actually prefer limes over Lemons.) The plate had so much food on it I ended up splitting it with my husband. He said “ it’s very simple & just like the shrimp from the north shore.”He also said ask for extra garlic paste/sauce on the rice (if you can) he enjoyed that little touch with the furikake too. Anyways it’s a cute little spot. Definitely recommend. Oh when you go , not during lunch rush or dinner, the hub has a lot of seating. Incase this is your first time going don’t worry if it’s crowded the food places inside give you a little buzzer so when your food is ready it beeps to let you know so you don’t have to actually stand by the booth that you order at and you can walk around to see what other places offer as well or take a seat while you wait.“

“Ok , let me tell you something…. What I absolutely appreciate is when a place of business takes responsibility. This L&L location did just that ! Long story short, I got the pineapple chicken plate the previous night. Got it home the chicken was In ridiculously large pieces. It looked caramelized HOWEVER it was hard and dry with one lonely piece of pineapple. So I call and was told to bring it back when I could. I did just that the next day.THIS IS WHEN THE GOOD STUFF HAPPENED:I go in the following day. I was greeted very kindly by Melli. I briefly explained my situation and presented her with the chicken plate. Basically she said it was no problem to replace it. Showed it to the “Boss Lady” Ashley who let me know she would personally take care this ASAP! Now things a way a business should be operating. Take accountability, apologize, fix the issue . And let me tell you …. These ladies did just that! The plate came out amazing. I was extremely please with the outcome. I came in thinking I was going to get upset trying to explain why I got unexceptionable food. But NOT at all they did everything PERFECTLY to include this plate. I will most definitely be back. Thank you Ashley and Melli.“

“First time going here was for my son’s 18th birthday. He was the one who requested it, believe it or not. The buffet package was a great deal! We even got free fruit desserts & soup! The DJ was great in keeping the karaoke going. If no one wants to sing, he’s the one singing. So all in all, great staff, great food, great entertainment, great space and ample parking! Will definitely come back and book more events here!“

“it's a popular chain, and meant for moving people through. many of the L&L locations I've been to has a small counter, this one is set up how you'd have a fast food line, with a few popular items ready to serve.
lots of garlic. very tasty, and lots of garlic.
loco moco is close. A bit more black pepper and 5 spice (i think) than I'd like but still tasty with rice.“
“This is the first poke spot I’ve ever seen in a Walmart. I always have to grab my poke bowl and tai tea with boba. There food and service is always good. I definitely recommend this place. 😊❤️“

“Super sweet staff during Comic-Con, it even started raining a tiny bit on the patio and they moved umbrellas over. Wish they would've participated more in the event, but it was chill. Food/drinks were amazing. Our server was awesome. Mango Lychee Margarita was delicious.“
