I recently dined at the Little Sister in El Segundo, and had an amazing experience, probably one of my top 5 meals of all time. Obviously I was super excited to visit the location in Irvine, since it is 5 minutes from my house. I'm sad to say that this location missed the mark a little. The Shaky Shaky beef was not nearly as tender and melt in your mouth as the 1st experience in El Segundo, and the Service was just lack luster. The food here is really good and the restaurant is also nice but unfortunately the service has been consistently bad, Iâd say at least in the last four visits Iâve been here dishes have been either forgotten or taken a long time, which happens I understand but when for instance other tables that arrived after you and ordered after you get their food before you, then obviously thereâs a problem. The stars aligned for my first visit to Little Sister. Hubby and I went for date night and wow what a great experience. 1. I ordered the fried sea bass - this was in lettuce wrap style and the flavors were phenomenal 2. Hubby Ordered the Papaya salad, I tried some, also AMAZING and he enjoyed it as well. 3.
