“You know that scene in Ratatouille where the food critic tries the ratatouille and gets transported back to the time when he was a kid and his mom made it for him? That was how I felt when I tried the nasi goreng. I grew up near Singkawang and this is exactly what I ate as a kid. If you want to know what Indonesian food is like, go here.“

“Tucked away in quiet street in busy Diamond Bar, behind the throngs of strip mall shops is a little Thai restaurant. The decor is calming and everything looked new.
Instead of a lunch special, I opted for a full meal and had plenty of leftovers. The Pad See You was excellent with chunks of chicken and flavorful. I also opted for the Beef Satay appetizer. However the portion was huge and dinner size at $15. I spent more than I wanted for lunch but had a second meal. Now that I’m closer to Mt Sac during lunch, I’m exploring all the options that busy Diamond Bar has to offer.
Skip the ice water and get the green iced tea. Yum.“

“It appears to be family owned and operated, and you can tell they love to serve great food! Well worth the stop after a day at the Santa Fe Dam Rec Area especially when it's only a few minutes away!
Parking: We stopped by on a Saturday evening and found plenty of parking. Don't overshoot the entrance as there aren't any good places to U-turn nearby.“

“Very flavorful Thai food.
My go to dish is 1 of various lunch specials: (Just a bit Spicy) Pad Prik w/ pork, salad w/ peanut sauce in lieu of soup, fried rice in lieu of white rice & a veggie fried roll. $14.99.
Friendly & quick service.“

“This place is one of the best places in San Dimas and surrounding areas. I highly very highly recommend this place when you are craving some delicious Thai food. My favorite is the beef pad see ew, the chicken pad thai, and the Hawaiian fried rice with shrimp. Been coming here for many years and its always consistently good. Do yourself a favor and check this place out..you will not be disappointed.“

“Service is always very nice. I usually get takeout with my boyfriend. I feel like the portions are smaller with takeout and have gotten smaller than usual as of late. They always seem to be out of the wonton. Pad see ew is a little blander than other places, but still good.“

“Charming cozy place for thai food. The older gentleman/owner I believe, was so accommodating and nice! Very patient explaining the menu and on top of everything serving my family. I also had called ahead and asked if they had a wait time for 6 people since it was a weekend and very hot. And he said come on in! My family and I got there to a table that had a reserved sign and 6 iced waters waiting for us! What restaurant has ever done that to me before? Enjoyed our time“

“This was a restaurant I stumbled upon while buying egg tarts nearby at Phu’s bakery. They have a lot of options and have large portions. I had bought the dishes home. Pad see ew, rad na (thick rice noodles with gravy), and pad soon sen. these were all delicious. The catfish dish was alright. I probably won’t order that again as it was quite hard and sweet.Service was good for to-go. Ambiance: They have quite a bit of seating and can accommodate large groups.“

“I absolutely love this place, I’ve been coming here for years and every single experience has been so good. When I want to dine in for a pleasant and peaceful lunch I know this is the place I want to eat. Their yellow curry is phenomenal and their Pad Thai is out of this world. The servers here are so attentive and sweet and they even remember my order now and know exactly what I want when I come in. The owners are honestly such sweet people who really care about your experience here.
10/10 food and service. Please try it out!“

“Great place to have a delicious lunch! WE were greeted and sat with the quickness. I got the Thai Ice tea to start and ordered the Green Curry lunch special with veggies and it was very satisfying because it has all the good flavors, comes with everything you could want for lunch and at a fair price. All our food came out at the same time and after a reasonable amount of time; everybody enjoyed their grub just the same.
Inside was cute and looks to have a live entertainment setup for dinner service.
Get it a try!“

“Small and cosy and open late. Fast and lovely service by owner.
They have non spicy dishes. I suggest the dumpling soup and add apppetizer…generous portion of chicken satay. Both were delicious and chicken had a nice char on it. I could inhale the satay sauce!
Enjoyed my flat fat cut noodle tom yum soup with shrimp. I chose mild spice level. Delicious and perfect for a cold night.
Highly recommend. It’s good and fast. (I’ve had mediocre food at more expensive Thai restaurants in area.)
Hidden gem with nice lighting, good service and don’t forget the carrot cake. It’s lightly sweet, Asian/Euro style!
I will be back. Be eco bring your own soup jars ;-)
Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is right in front.“

“Our family has adored coming to this lovely Thai restaurant tucked away in Azusa! The service is always fast and friendly in a cozy atmosphere. The food is incredible! There is something on the menu for everyone! My favorite offering is the green curry tofu - they ask you which spice level you'd like... If you crave a flavorful kick - they will not disappoint! This pairs well with garlic string beans or sir fried fresh ginger, onion, mushroom and carrot. The kids adore the Chicken Satay and the Crying Tiger grilled marinated beef served with Thai spicy sauce.“

“They have really good Soups. Fried rice is pretty tasty as well as the Green / Red curry. Prices have increased quite a bit in the last couple of years . I do wish they close little later at least on the weekends. Please fix your sofa seating area, it is ripping off.
Vegetarian options: Several dishes can be made with veggies and/or tofu.“

“Lunch specials are a good deal. The thai teas with boba are delicious havent tried desserts yet as it seems theyre always out of what i wanna try. Kinda pricey tho. Dont get me wrong food is good but for the price the portions arent great. Throw a couple more shrimps in the noodles, 5 lil shrimp is ridic.
Parking: 7 businesses. & Like 13 parking spots.... Its on a main busy intersection so no street parking really. Well theres street parking behind location on Beverly DRive (not Blvd) but thats always filled too“

“This is a small, casual restaurant with a relaxed feel. They are very welcoming and polite.I had the red curry with tofu and vegetables, which was very good. The egg rolls (4 in an order) were small and crispy, and fairly good, but not the best. I felt they were a little overpriced. My drink was hot Jasmine tea.The curry was by far the tastiest item. It was thin, like a soup. I've had Thai curries that were thick, but read that the thin consistency is authentic. At the end, the waitress boxed up the leftovers, even the egg roll sauce into a tiny container. It was about $24. plus the tip.If you enjoy Thai food in a casual atmosphere, I recommend this place. The other comments here are in response to Google's questions.
Vegetarian options: I had tofu in my curry.
Parking: The parking lot is just outside the door, so it's a short walk. There were plenty of spaces when I visited late Monday afternoon. If you are going on the weekend, it might be crowded because the lot is fairly small and there are other businesses that use the same lot.
Kid-friendliness: There was a child with his parents when I visited.
Wheelchair accessibility: As you enter, there is a slight incline that you can easily use for a wheelchair. The staff can easily move a chair or two at a table to accommodate the wheelchair.“

“Not sure why I didn’t stop by sooner. I live in the area and about after a year i decided to go the other night. We got the fried dumplings, seafood soup, drunken noodle with shrimp, pad see-ew with chicken and to drink we got Thai iced teas. Everything was delicious, the soup had lots of seafood and good flavor, the drunken noodle had lots of Thai basil. I ended up getting a Thai tea to go. Definitely will be coming back or ordering for pick up.“

“My friend and I came to this unassuming family owned restaurant for lunch. She had been there twice and loved it and so I thought I’d give it a try. The lunch special was really excellent. I had the spicy basil with beef and it came with rice and a very fresh quality side salad. My friend enjoyed her chicken pad Thai. It looked so good that I ordered one to go for my husband. He loved it too. The service was warm and attentive. I’ve been searching for a good Thai restaurant to replace Basil and Co, which has excellent food but it’s always crowded, loud, and the service was unapologetically slow at my last visit. Verdict: My new go-to Thai restaurant. It doesn’t have the ambience of Basil and Co but it checks off a lot of important boxes for me.“

“Been coming here a lot recently. The food is good and made fairly quickly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. Not the typical sterile environment, lots of decor.
The staff is super friendly, they just need to make sure the prices listed online reflect the in-store price, which it currently does not.“

“The service is prompt and attentive, with the staff ensuring that every detail is taken care of.
As for the food, the chicken BBQ is an absolute standout. Perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, the chicken has a delightful smoky flavor and a juicy tenderness that’s hard to beat. The balance of spices is spot on, with just the right amount of heat and sweetness, making each bite incredibly flavorful.
Overall, with its great service and mouth-watering BBQ, this place is a must-try for anyone craving authentic Thai BBQ. Highly recommend it!“

“Located on Arrow Hwy & Irwindale Ave. near the Jack in the Box with plenty of parking.
First time eating at Trendy Thai, and I'm obsessed (as a Thai food lover). Authentic food, definitely one of the best I've had. I tried their 'Pineapple Fried Rice', which consists of chicken, shrimp, roasted chili, curry powder, and cashew nuts, accompanied with an Iced 'Thai Tea'. Simply delicious with fresh ingredients.
Welcoming and friendly service. The restaurant is clean and organized.
Overall, I had a great lunch experience here and can't wait to return and try other menu items.“
