“The Italian jewel in Jamul. They were extremely busy with several large parties, so the service suffered some.
We went back recently near closing to order take-out. But they were absolutely delighted to seat us. The pasta dishes we had were absolutely amazing, as well as the service. This has become restaurant we look forward to going to often.“

“Server, as always was top notch. Food was excellent with an exception of sea bass a little dry. Never to worry. Server provided another serving of sea bass and it was delicious. Desserts are always on point. We celebrated my daughter and son n law birthdays. They are in love with Prime Cut and the service from the entrance to our table. Never a disappointment.“

What really made the night special was the vibe and service. The Olympics were on and we enjoyed watching the games. I had to explain curling to the little one.

It’s laid-back but still feels like you can celebrate something meaningful there. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The little one ordered a Shirley temple and loved it. Our servers would give her an extra cherry whenever she asked. She was so happy.

Personally recommend getting the wings, brisket, potato salad, and beans. It was a dinner I'll remember. Thank you, Cali BBQ, for helping make it special. We’ll definitely come again.“

We had read positive reviews about Janet's Montana Cafe and were feeling quite confident about having breakfast there.

We were welcomed by a friendly young lady who quickly led us to a booth. Another young lady handed us a few menu cards. There's an impressive array of choices including all day breakfast.

Please note portions are rather large so can be shared by two adults. I loved the eggs with pumpking pancakes, coffee is also pretty good and we found prices to be reasonable.

They also have cakes on sale which I strongly suggest you check out. We bought one and loved it.

We will certainly make a point of stopping here next time we're in town.“

“So today my family wanted pick up stix and I didn't want to get pickup stix due to the odd interaction I had last time I went in. I have been going to this location for years and have never had any issue besides the last visit. There is a cashier that is an older gentleman who refuses to give extra sauce and will literally go back and forth over a couple sauce packets. I am buying for 3 people and the 2 siracha that he said is already in the bag is not enough. I decided oh well it probably will not be a thing today, but unfortunately the same guy today did it again. I asked him what the issue was and he stated that the sauce is in the bag already. I asked do I need to pay for extra sauce and if so I will, he stated no I don't need to then finally agreed to give me sauce. I have never ran into this situation ever at any restraunt where when I am paying for the meal I have to argue and ask several times for a couple extra packets of sauce. It's wild and unprofessional to think you need to argue with a customer over 4 siracha packets.“

“My wife and I eat here easily once a week. We celebrated NYE dinner around 6:30, and it was pretty busy. The owner and two other employees were quick and made sure everyone was seated, order was taken, and had what they needed at all times. Food took a little longer, as expected, but they were kind enough to bring out a complimentary order of wings that we got to try for the first time! Incredibly delicious, I was only able to take a picture after not before lol. We will be ordering them from now on as an appetizer! If you try any new pho restaurants in San Diego this year, make sure this location is at the top of your list!! Our go to orders are as follows: Signature pho, beef rib pho, shaking beef, Thai iced tea, Vietnamese coffee, watermelon smoothie, matcha latte, and now the wings. Huge thank you to the staff and ownership for such an amazing restaurant. We can’t wait for more meals this new year :)“

“I have eaten Vietnamese cuisine throughout California, and Grandpa Tao ranks among the best. In addition to the amazing tastes, the casual restaurant is friendly and comfortable. “This place gets pretty busy on weekends! The parking lot may be full but you can still park along the street. It’s pretty large so there’s usually seats. I love the borracho fries, so good! Also the pulled pork and the cheeseburger are tasty too. The service is good as well. My one complaint is they run out of their popular items by 2pm, tri tip and hot links get sold out really fast. I know they can only bbq so much but maybe add some more of the popular meats?“

“It's tradition now, to come and eat at Mandarin Beijing after trick or treating. However, after the great service and food we decided to make it our new favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is good!!! My husband loves their egg drop soup, you don't need to add anything to it, it's done just right. Next it's their salted pepper wings, they are big, crispy, and full of flavor. The service is amazing, everyone is so friendly and it's not just one person taking care of you, it's everyone. As soon as your drink is running low, someone is always asking if you need a refill. This will continue to be our after trick or treat place to come but also our salted pepper wing place for sure.“
