“Foam on the short pull espresso was phenomenal paired alongside a Nutella croissant topped with toasted almonds and powder sugar on a Tuesday morning followed by a brief read of a book. Nothing like the patio where it all conjured a memorable experience. May this place remain a gem on the way to the Oceanside.“

“This little place is not your average brunch experience. The atmosphere is very quaint, and their menu is unique. The workers are very friendly. I had their Hash in Pan, and it was very tasty and filling.I know this is a little thing, but I appreciated that they have raw sugar and stevia options for the coffee, not just refined sugar and artificial sweeteners. To me, this is one "minor" thing that shows attention to detail. This restaurant was memorable.“

“Want a tight bite while driving, before or after surfing? Are the kids driving you nuts and you know food will give you at least 40 minutes of zen? The dog house is the place. Fast and friendly service, well priced. A well stocked condiment bar, beautiful view of the Bay and the hand cut fries are to die for.“

“The food here was hot and delicious. The upper seating area was cozy, and the bar was chic and casual. Our server, who was new and had moved from Alabama to California in 2020, was gracious and wonderful. Many thanks to him, and to the kitchen.“
“Bodega is a breathtakingly gorgeous town. That hairpin turn going to the coast or returning from the ocean has more dramatic stories. After eating breakfast at Lucas Wharf Restaurant on Sunday, I drove back to Santa Rosa to see this SUV inside the Bodega General Store next to the surf shop under the church where Barbara got married. The irony is that, nobody was surprised. Drivers take this turn crazy. Adam, Dave, and Jeff took out all the mailboxes taking this turn when I was at Montgomery High School in 1986. Returning from Goat Rock Beach at 2:00 am in the morning, their truck took the hairpin turn fast and took out all the post office mail boxes as they sped east towards Santa Rosa. Sunday’s SUV sped into the front of the store when no one was inside. All doors and stores were closed on a Sunday. Luckily no one was hurt from what I gathered at the scene. Thomas Chee“
