“My husband and I dream about this place when we’re not in mammoth and we can’t wait to eat here every time we visit. It’s by far the tastiest pho I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had A LOT!! We go out to eat pho quite frequently and this place has it down! The bok choy is chopped small which I love , they add a generous amount of mushrooms, the broth is so rich and flavorful . They close Tuesdays and Wednesdays to make the pho- everything is made from scratch. And the BOBA is bomb!! The owner is super nice and is eco friendly“

“We picked up pizza and wings and it was all excellent! Cool and comfortable atmosphere with tons of seating and a huge bar. The open kitchen is a nice touch and the order kiosk for take-out was super easy to use. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, but maybe most importantly, the pizza was awesome! The crust is super flavorful and the red sauce is far from generic. Looking forward to trying more of the fun options on the menu… Well done!“

“Since moving to Mammoth back in August, I have been very disappointed with the dining choices. Elixir is fabulous! So happy to finally find such wonderful flavor profiles. the chicken on my salad was very well prepared and the smoothies were outstanding!“

“The best restaurant we ate at during our trip to Mammoth Lakes by far! A very nice, relaxing, and delicious meal, with excellent service. I ordered a Manhattan which was generous and very tasty. The beef stroganoff dish was delicious and very satisfying after a long day of hiking at Devil's Postpile. For desert I ordered the warm chocolate brownie a la mode, which was also very good. The wine list was excellent also. We had a split of the L'Ecole Syrah which was perfect for the meal. I'll definitely return on my next visit to the area!“

“I saw a review on crypto investment that changed my story for good. I never believed it at first but after much convincing by my account manager in the person of Mrs Craig Vanessa I decided to give it a trial with just $5,000 even though there was a lower cost of investment. Starting with this, I made a profit of $35,500 in the first week. I am sharing this here for those that may have an interest. Mrs. Craig Vanessa is genuine and her style of trade is unique. Completely top-notch and different from the rest. Contact her today and you will not regret it. Send her a DM on WhatsApp via the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa“

“Got immediately struck by the beauty of the restaurant that kinda reminded me of my favorite place in my home town. The menu offered a lot of different meals at a really good price and the waiter that served us was extremely nice. Everything we ate was great but The Giant Pretzel really put the cherry on top. Would absolutely come back☆“

“Food was decent. My meal was tasty but not killer. Would eat it again, for sure.
The thing that made me really happy was how bi-cultural/bilingual the place is. The service is very fast and efficient, which I super appreciate, but when the server hit me, a white dude who is literally in the middle of an unwanted move back from years in Latin America, with a "¿Todo bien?" about my meal, that was like a hug from a stranger. More than half of the clientele was Spanish speaking.
Is the whole town like this? Gonna have to vacation here if it is.“

“I am visiting from out of town and decided to give Gojira a try. I ordered the Miso Ramen and while the flavor smelled delicious and the first bite was good, it was extremely salty eating the entire ramen! If it were any saltier, it would be inedible (in my opinion). However, I’m not taking away too many stars because I do feel like this is an easy fix, as the rest of my ramen had good noodles and toppings. I also ordered take-out and appreciated that they had the miso broth and the noodles in separate containers as to not get soggy on the drive to our hotel. If they lowered the sodium by like 50%, it would be great!“

“Okay now all I can say, is that I ordered the three enchiladas dinner combo they had advertised for 13.77 and it included rice, beans, and an iced drink. We ordered to go and I went back to that to-go container three times even though I was full after the first visit... that delicious enchilada smell kept me going back until I finished it. If I go back to Mammoth Mountain I'm eating at this place again absolutely no question about it. I paid 15 dollars for a meal I'll remember for years to come...“

“They have the best donuts and pastries, hands down! Everything I've tried has been good. They cut the turkey fresh for their sandwiches. Everyone is very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming.
I love this place! I grew up in California, my family would visit Schat's in Bishop whenever we were up that way. I haven't lived in CA for a very long time, but we visit periodically. I discovered the Schat's Bakery in Mammoth a couple years ago on one of our trips. Now it's a must on our list - we go miles out of our way to get some baked goods; & we get extra to take on the road with us!“

“A Hidden Gem in Mammoth Village!
Side Door is the best-kept secret in Mammoth! Tucked away in the village, this cozy spot delivers in every way—from food to vibes. Their crepes are absolutely delicious, with a gluten-free batter that’s light, flavorful, and perfect for sweet or savory cravings. Don’t skip the breakfast potatoes—they’re crispy, buttery perfection, easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere.
The espresso is rich and bold, and their award-winning Bloody Mary? Totally lives up to the hype. Whether you’re coming in for a slow breakfast, a chill lunch, or a cozy dinner with friends, Side Door hits the mark every time. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Want a Legendary Pizza in June Lake? This Is It.
Picture this. You are hungry. Like,
“I just drove seven hours, have not eaten all day, and my stomach is about to start its own protest”
hungry. You roll up to June Pie Pizza Co. in June Lake. The second you walk in, you get hit with that glorious smell. Crispy crust, melting cheese, and just a hint of garlic floating in the air. It is like every good pizza memory you have ever had just punched you in the soul.
Let’s talk crust. This is not your average pizza base. I am dead serious. The undercarriage is so crisp it deserves its own movie. I grew up watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and used to think, “There is no way pizza looks that good in real life.”
But this is it. Dave Portnoy would probably hand out an eight point seven without even blinking. Every bite? Crunchy, chewy, never soggy, and absolutely loaded with flavor.
What did we try?
Everything we could. Massive pepperoni slices that somehow do not overwhelm the pie. Just pure pizza science at work. The cheese pizza, stacked with mozzarella, looked a little wild at first, but it absolutely stole the show when we bit in. And the veggie pizza, boosted with the meat lovers delight? Unreal. It is the pizza combo you never knew you needed.
Did I mention we ate here three separate times during a single week?
I am talking eight large pizzas, four mediums, and way too much Coca Cola. When a place makes you abandon all vacation plans just to eat more pizza, you know it is next level.
Everyone in the reviews says the garlic knots are a must. If you do not order them, you are playing yourself. Next trip, I am making a beeline for those. The Margherita pizza gets rave reviews too. People say it is a slice of actual heaven.
But here is where June Pie Pizza Co. hits different. The people. The pizza guy actually asked how we liked our pie, gave recommendations, and made us feel like we were part of the family. That is not normal. Most spots just hand you your food and dip. Here, you get real mountain town hospitality.
The inside is tight. New York City pizza vibes, for sure. Everyone is hanging out, swapping stories, laughing. There is a little patio out back with mountain views, a tiny bar, and even a stage for live music. I dare you to find a better sunset spot for a pizza dinner. And yes, you can bring your dog. Dogs get the best seat in the house.
The Most Important Questions:
• What should you order?
Get the pepperoni and cheese. Add garlic knots, trust me. If you skip the Margherita, do not tell anyone.
• Is it worth the wait?
Absolutely. Worth every second. If it is busy, just know something great is coming your way.
• Why does everyone love this place?
It is the mix of perfect pizza, friendly people, and a mountain view that makes you never want to leave.
Pro Tips for Pizza Lovers:
• Arrive early. The best stuff sells out, and you do not want to be the sad person watching someone else eat the last slice.
• The outdoor patio is pure magic at sunset. Do not sleep on it.
• Ask questions. The pizza makers love sharing their favorites.
Final Verdict:
If you come to June Lake and skip June Pie Pizza Co., I literally cannot help you. This is the best pizza in June Lake, hands down. It is the spot that will ruin all other pizza for you. Get in, eat way too much, and thank yourself for listening to some random review on the internet. Now go live your best pizza life.“
