“First time trying bb.q and will order again. I ordered the original boneless and was impressed with the flavor, crispiness and tenderness of the K fried chicken. It seemed a bit expensive at first (8 pieces for $19.19) but there were more than 8 pieces and I should have shared with my wife.“

“I'm not a big fan of El Pollo Loco if I'm being honest, but I was around the area and ended up here. I'm genuinely surprised and glad I did. The chicken was actually really well cooked and juicy and the sides were pretty decent in size. Staff service was kind and they gave my order quickly. Can't complain.“

“My husband is from India, so we have eaten a lot of flavorful foods. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We ordered the five taco plate and sides of corn, mom‘s beans, the vegetarian beans, potatoes with chorizo, corn, and rice. We also tried the coconut rose milk lime drink, and the cucumber salad . My husband, especially like the jeera chicken and corn. I loved the Carne Asada and goat tacos. The green sauce is fabulous. The fresh house made corn tortillas also really take the tacos to the next level. We really enjoyed our meal here. Kudos to the owners for taking such an interesting fusion risk and executing it well.“

“Many who dine out know about the chicken sandwich craze which spread across the nation several years ago. From gourmet style to fast-food many eateries jumped in to offer their take. Le Coupe is no sleeper and from what I experienced ranks in the top of fried chicken with a twist. Many rave about Memphis style chicken and they should but Le Coupe uses its Louisiana Cajun heritage to make it a "must stop." Their sandwich is exceptional. If you're looking for basic fried chicken, this is NOT YOUR SPOT. Instead you will be treated to fried chicken drenched in a tasty hot, honey style sauce that is the perfect complement. The quality of the sandwich shines as while the chicken is superbly prepared, the bun, the slaw, the pickles take it to a new level. Some might raise an eyebrow over the $15 cost but again, this a'int fast food as you get what you pay for. Moving on, the rib of corn is so basic it's hilarious to mention. But, boy have they hit it out of the park with this appetizer. Ribs of corn are drenched in a mayonnaise chili sauce that makes it a very addictive dish. For $11, worth the experience. The potato salad (made with red potatoes) is fresh made (like the other items), very tasty and a nice presentation by being topped off with fresh chives. The drinks are another hit. Everything is freshly made. The lemonade was tasty and you could taste the quality. Again, at $6, you get what you pay for. LeCoupe is a tiny venue but cozy enough for several chairs, as well as a few outside. Everything is made from scratch but your order comes at a quick pace. Western and Melrose is a busy intersection, so the parking on Western can be tight so you will need some patience or street-smarts. Le Coupe has earned my business so if you're having the taste for some uniquely fried chicken (thighs or tenders) you can't go wrong with them. Price points may appear high but worth it based on the quality your receive.“

“I got the fish sandwich with the upgraded caviar tartar sauce. It came with French fries and Daybird sauce...it was good. I am not sure the caviar is worth the price point. The filet was cooked perfectly and went well with the potato roll. I would definitely eat there again if I lived in the area.“

“Food: Ordered a Hainan Chicken set and a sprite. I originate from Malaysia. Our Ipoh chicken rice is slightly different from this dish but ever so slightly. Only difference is the sauce. Overall, sauce was great, chicken was nice and tender and perfect considering it's a Hainan Style dish. Rice was nice and firm, you could taste the chicken fat in every bite of the rice. (Extremely recommended to pour sauce over the chicken.) 10/10.Service: Not much to say about service, this place is kind of a small neighborhood type of restaurant. Cashier lady was nice and sweet. 7/10.Atmosphere: The atmosphere was perfect, felt like I was back in asia with the random seats, different color tables and chairs from home. 8/10.Cashier speaks Thai for any Thai customers.Kap Khun Krap, Heng Heng for bringing back memories from my home country. Will be coming back.Dietary restrictions: Non-Halal only. Serves pork.“

“This new spot on 8th Street is exactly what we needed. In Downtown, it's difficult to find a spot with fresh food that's delicious and quick. Because this spot is new, there is a bit of a wait for the food but not more than you would expect for food that is being prepared for you on the spot. Everything tastes fresh, not frozen. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. We had a lunch catered for the office. Everyone was pleased and that's sometimes difficult to do when you have 10 people with differing tastes. This means there's one more place where I can grab lunch that's not fried food. My favorite side is their broccoli! I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.“

“My friends and I had lunch this afternoon for the first time at his establishment. The food was delicious. We recommend the different saltado dishes as well as the tallarin Verde con pollo. The atmosphere was great. We enjoyed the outdoor patio as seating was comfortable bench style with shade covers plus a large screen TV. The music was good yet it was not to loud. The establishment has its own parking.I'll definitely come back to try the different dishes.“

“I love montys. They have great meals and meal boxes and shakes. I finally got their burger and personally I'd highly recommend their chicken instead because I feel like I've had better vegan burgers but they gave me a very generous portion of fries. Service is nice and there is decent seating. Parking is street parking.“

“Food is delicious the only thing is the wait, to enter it differs from what time of the day you go. If you go 2 hours before it closes you mides well take your food to go cause you won't get in there's a lot of reservations at the end of the day. And parking 2$ lunch 3$ dinner but the food is worth it the big bowl is for atleast 4 people I spent like 75$ but we added to our meal it was worth it .Parking: Parking is 2$ at lunch and 3$ at dinnerKid-friendliness: Had my kid there he did fineWheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair ramp“

“This is the hands down the best fast eats in Hollywood, possibly all of Los Angeles. They're fast, friendly, and just never miss. Their ponzu sauce is out of this world. If I were on death row (not sure yet for what) I would have 150 of these chicken tenders and die happy.“

“I've been coming to RoRo's for like 15 years or something. Nothings changed and it's still just as tasty as ever. In a world where quality seems to diminish over time, RoRo's has stood the testament of time and is still one of my favorite hole in the wall spots to eat at in Hollywood. The service is very friendly and the food is very tasty! Don't forget the garlic sauce! A great addition to any meal. I highly recommend the chicken shawarma plate. It comes with pita bread and they will heat up the pita for you if you ask. The hummus is amazing and I love making my own little pita pockets out of the ingredients on the plate. The side salad is very yummy too with an amazing dressing!“

“This spot is my new go-to for chicken sliders and fries. Try Steve's fries (comes in mild, medium or hot). Very bomb food and the seating area is outdoors so especially with COVID going on, it felt very safe to eat at. Employees were great about cleaning the tables as soon as customers got up. The fresh lemonade is tasty too!“

“Comparing this one to the one on Pico/Crenshaw, parking is much much easier and closer to the freeway. The chicken indeed seemed a ted less spicy hot but all the favors are there. (Went to Crenshaw 2 days later and clearly able to compare) As usual, ordered the biggest 20 piece dinning in and it was hot and juicy, especially the breast. Busy on the chicken left the fries cold but still nothing left to take home. The chicken was fresh from the frier as one was bubbling on the table. Teared up one of the breast and juice immediately drip onto the plate. I wore eating clothes every time I go to GUS to refrain from having ruined clothes to regret later. They gave me forks every time but I had never used them. Go wash hands and get dirty!“

“Flavor. It’s one of those places you go for an easy delicious meal. No bathroom, no amenities; only incredibly authentic Nashville chicken. Humble family owned business. Their daughter has been there with them since she was 2. They came from Armenia to America to follow the dream. Seems they have accomplished it. With another store, actually brick and mortar restaurant and a third undisclosed location coming to LA plus both restaurants have 5 stars. Come on. The best.Kid-friendliness: Kids love chicken tenders.“

“As someone from Osaka, I can confirm this is a Japanese restaurant with home style dishes and legit kushikatsu (of which is a bit lighter due to less batter and more panko crusted instead). We went on Valentine's Day for a special meal and it was packed. Service may be a bit more relaxed than one may be used to, so please be patient and enjoy the thoughtful hospitality and cuisine. Their unagi yanagawa (simmered eel with strips of burdock root covered in egg) was very comforting and tasty. Thank you for the delightful and memorable meal.“

“I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before...but it is one of my favorite fried chicken places in LA. The fried chicken is absolutely in my top 5. The chicken is the star here--forget about everything else except maybe the gizzards--the chicken is why you come to Dinah's. Having said that prices have really increased here like a lot of other places these days. In four short years, the two piece lunch has gone from $7.65 to $13.60. I don't know about you but that seems a lot higher than the current inflation rate. Not picking on Dinah's, but just making a point.“

“This is my current favorite local fried chicken spot!!! I had their original chicken wings (with garlic seasoning), drumstick, fried chicken sandwich and the wrap; wow SUPER JUICY flavorful fried chicken! It's also nice that they open late. They do dine-in and take out. They also have some great items on their drink menu....I had their white peach fruit tea and it was not too sweet and really refreshing. Next time, i definitely want to try the whole entire chicken and the squid ink flavored one. Reasonable prices; they have free parking in the back.“

“Stopped by Kluckin Chicken yesterday to get out of the cold and get a hot bite to eat. We pleasantly surprised. The food was cooked to order. Hot and fresh. Fries were good and my son loved the coleslaw (something that's hit or miss for him). We had the mild chicken. As fans of the Nashville trend, mild is usually our cup of tea. We are used to a bit more flavor and kick, even on mild. These tasted a bit more like naked where we eat. Definitely going with more heat next time! Limited spice aside, the chicken was hot and juicy. The local sauce was also nice. Definitely hit the spot on a cold evening. The restaurant was clean and colorful. The staff was friendly and prompt. It was a pleasant evening all around. Definitely would recommend!“

“Crispy and crunchy. Had the Spicy Crispy Chicken on Bun with onions rings. Sandwich was prepared when we ordered it, making it extra crunchy on the first bite. Extra spicy level was just right, not overbearing, just enough to give it a good kick. Onion rings were lightly breaded and cooked perfectly.“

“Dined in at 2pm on a Friday and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. I was greeted by the worker at the register. She asked if I was dining in or take out and I told her "dine in." I was seated and given the menu, plates, utensils, and even pickled radish right away. I took some time to study the menu and both workers checked in to see if I wanted any recommendations. One of the guys was very knowledgeable about the wing sauces and the menu but I didn't get his name. Eventually I gave them my order and I waited about 5 minutes and my food came out one at a time. Cheesling Fries (9/10) - The cheese powder on the fries were amazing! It wasn't too overpowering or too cheesy. The fries were hot and crispy. They even drizzle it in the secret sauce. It was very well balanced together. Rose Ddeok-Bokki (8/10) - The first few bites tasted like it needed more seasoning and flavor. The more I ate it, the better it got. It was not spicy for me and it was a great combination of creamy with a small but of tang. The rice cakes were soft and chewy. It was also very delicious overall.Secret Sauce Wings (8.5/10) - The chicken wings were very fresh. The batter was still crispy and the sauce was sweet, tangy, and sticky. It reminded me of my favorite childhood Chinese dish, Peking Pork Chop or sweet and sour pork chop. It did get soggy once the wings sat too long. Soy Garlic Wings (7.5/10) - The soy flavor overpowered the garlic in these wings but overall a really solid choice. The wings were also hot and crispy with a sweet and salty sauce. Overall, the food is 8/10. The service was 10/10. They checked in with me at least every 10-15 minutes. They gave me napkins without asking for it. I had a very pleasant experience!“

“I've had my share of Hainan Chicken at many places, but the juicy and tenderness of this chicken was beyond what I was expecting. The service was very good. Very cheerful and wholesome. The place itself wasn't super esthetic or anything. Just your typical hole in the wall...couldve used a few plants, though. Highly recommend this place if you are somewhat of a Hainan chicken enthusiast.“

“Rikas Peruvian restaurant is like the 5th or 6th Peruvian restaurant I've been to in LA. It's interesting because it's located in Koreatown. But this little Peruvian restaurant packs a bunch. I enjoyed it a lot. It's like classic Peruvian comfort food. If you guys haven't tried their ceviche mixto, it is a must try. It's probably the best Peruvian ceviche I'd had in LA. Nice fresh raw fish, and the sourness to the juice was just about right. Their chaufa pollo, or chicken fried rice, was also another knockout. It's safe to say that this is the best fried rice I've had outside of any Asian restaurant. Haha. Their lomo saltado was also pretty solid. Great sauce, fries, and steak. In all, I would highly recommend Rikas if you are in town. It is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area. You'll feel so great after eating the food here. The chef Jose is also a hospitable man. Look out for him if you come here. I shot a Youtube video of my experience at Rikas, which you can find on my Youtube channel Rockstar Eater.“

“I like the food here, but the attitude of the main guy behind the counter? I don’t understand- Bruh…you are running a restaurant, and while food is important there is a reason why every food review platform in the universe has a rating category entitled service. If you can’t be the least bit courteous than take park your grumpy self in the back where customers don’t have to worry about offending you by placing an order and providing you with their credit card.“
