“a late night beacon , fosters donuts is an oasis . i decided to go for a drive , nevermind it was 11 pm . up the 2 til it ended is where i ended up not sure how its just as it was . with out any other cars on the road it was easy to decide to take a look around this lil highway end town . glad i did because it was the lights i spotted first , lit up and sparkling , fosters donuts . i saw a few groups of people in the window which is always a good sign , a trusted establishment. once inside i immediately noticed that the cases were relatively bare except for say the random cinnamon roll or a few twists . luckily i noticed the racks in the back , full of fresh donuts ! i asked for one of the nearest ones , a cake donut . divine ! crispy outside soft warm inside , pleasantly spongy and very cakey . ive been to three weddings this summer and none of the cakes were as good as this . one of the best $1.80s ive spent this week . as LA slumbers fosters makes magic . i will be back very soon !“

“Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the charming, highly-rated Hello You're Welcome café. They make and bake everything in house- you can even see the ovens. Really friendly staff with a slight hippie vibe. Some items were made with almond flour, like their giant chocolate chip cookie, so I had to skip them (allergic). I was pleasantly overwhelmed by a delicious gigantic frittata slice with bacon, onions, and tater tots inside. Togadachi coffee is really interesting: the beans were fermented with lavender. Extra sugar helped me adjust to the unique flavor. The wall full of retail items features coffee beans in VHS boxes, which is a first! I love their mugs and bought one to take home.“

“Somehow I had never tried this place until about a month ago through Uber eats when I was craving an Apple fritter. Have ordered a few times since and think I’ve found my favorite donut/breakfast sandwich place in LA. Everything is always super fresh even if I order at 3 in the afternoon. The fritter is huge and might be the best I’ve ever had. Bagel breakfast sandwiches are perfect as are the other donuts I’ve had. So happy places like this still exist!!!“

“It's 3AM and you want some donuts, a sandwich, or whatever kind of comfort.... this place has got you.

On our way home from some degeneracy and I got a jalapeno ham cheese croissant and some donuts. It was hot and fresh out the kitchen and straight into my mouth I could barely contain myself on the drive home.

Now it's nothing special and but given the context this was the best thing to end that night (morning?) with.

That jelly donut was legitimately the softest donut I've had in forever!!I usually don't rate donut places because it's donuts. “The online menu doesn’t show up online which is so annoying and I wish they would at least display what they sold because they don’t sell stock sandwiches like Starbucks or 711, they actually cook them for you and I usually get the plain bagel with cream cheese but everything is delicious when I’ve tried their other things. “Came here to get breakfast sandwiches on a rainy morning. They were so good!! Lady behind the counter is friendly and quick. She doesn’t skimp on the ingredients so the sandwiches were big and filling. If you happen to make it here when it’s freshly out of the oven (random time in the early morning) the donuts are 👩🏻‍🍳💋, in particular the buttermilk loaf- imagine an extra light pound cake with a crispy glazed sugar crust. “We absolutely loveee Perfect Donuts, not only are the donuts freshly made but their boba is also fresh. I worked at a boba shop and I can tell very easily when the boba has been out for too long. There is a young woman who always helps us and she is the sweetest person ever, always goes out of her way to make us feel welcomed. My sons both like white glazed with colorful sprinkles and today they were sold out; this amazing woman grabbed two plains and made them for them without us having to ask ! Not only that, she even made sure they were both just the way they like them without me even mentioning! I absolutely love this place and will continue to come. They also have fresh pressed juices and a lot more stuff that we will definitely be trying. 😄😄“

Standard family run donut shop, the matriarch doesn’t need to say anything and you know who’s the boss. If you’re getting your tire changed or repaired, nice place to have a snack.“

“Went here on a whim and tried their beautiful and LARGE bear claw only to later learn it was filled with apple pie filling! It was great! Not greasy or heavy at all. “I had the drip coffee, abuelita, o.g., quincenera, horchata, and margarita. The coffee had a little kick to it, it's different but I've had better. Still, it's different. I had it black to get a sense of the flavor. The horchata donut had a bunch of frosting like a cupcake. A bit much if you ask me but I like sweets. The O.G. tasted like a regular donut but had its own unique flavor. The Abuelita was chocolatey. The Quincenera was sweet. The Margarita had a lemon and sour taste to it. It was different if you like sour lime type tastes. If your looking for a sugar rush get the Horchata or Quincenera donuts. Miraculously, after 6 hours my donuts were still soft. I like that.“
