“Stefan at UCSD Catering was extremely helpful when my fiancée and I began planning our wedding at the Martin Johnson House on the Scripps Campus.Of the approved caterers, Stefan was one of few to immediately have a detailed conversation with me about the ins and outs of the venue, what potential options and setups could be, and how to compare pricing/offerings from different caterers.When we built a menu and proposal, communication was prompt and efficient. We were able to try different set up options, mix and match from the existing menu and modify plates to fit with what we were going for.Pricing on the menu was labeled per person, so it was super easy and transparent to see what the costs would be if we added or removed items. The proposal was also very clear on food cost, vs. staff cost, vs other fees.Compared to other vendors, UCSD's proposal looked like the best quality to price combo.Ultimately, we did not go with UCSD catering only because we were on a tight timeline and felt more comfortable going with an all-in-one catering solution.However, if you have the time (or a coordinator) I'd recommend the combo of UCSD Catering, Bella Beverage Catering, and Cedar and Pine Rentals.“

“Olga’s food place had the best lumpia’s in town. I placed our order in right when they opened at 10am and they were able to have 100 pieces ready for me to pick up at 3pm! I really like that if you call them and they don’t pick up, they will text you later on and you can place your order and pick up time via text message.

I will definitely be coming back for more lumpia’s for our next events/parties!“

“We had a neighborhood party last night with about 40 people. In the beginning Ben came expecting about 30 but he found a way to service our party first class with everyone leaving very happy. Ben is thorough, thoughtful and a lot of fun. As you can tell we were extremely pleased with his services and will have him back as soon as possible! His food is “over the top” creative and delicious. You won’t be disappointed if you use him for your next party!

“Sean and his team are truly amazing! We hired them for our rehearsal dinner which took place at my grandparents house. They were able to pull up right in the driveway and guests meandered between the backyard and driveway to grab slices as they wished. I am personally vegetarian and my favorite was the pesto vegetarian pizza. It was so light and delicious! Everyone had great things to say about the honey jalepeno, and even the gluten free guests had great reviews. It felt like Sean was the host of the party, you can tell he truly loves his job and loves talking to people. They set up and cleaned up so quickly I hardly even knew where they arrived/left, it was like magic whisked them away. They made so much pizza most of us took some home afterwards. Highly reccomend!!!“

So many of our guests complimented the food and shared with us how good it was. But beyond the excellent quality of food (our beef tenderloin was practically melt in your mouth which is magic for a party of 100), the service is beyond compare. From the start, the Feast team, and in particular Melissa, went out of their way to make our experience truly unique and special. Though four postponements, a possible elopement, celebrating our original wedding date, celebrating my mom’s birthday in quarantine, and finally our wedding day, Feast went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and supported. Their attention to detail made for truly awe inspiring decor and food. I can’t wait for our next event to use Feast again!“

Everything from the simplest Fruit Display and the Breakfast Pastries to the Yummy Quiche and let’s not forget about the … Crispy Bacon. Yummy. I have used BSC&E in the past and have always been very pleased with the products, but this time the team outdid themselves. Lisa Gradillas was so pleasant to work with and throughout the entire process made suggestions on everything from the food and quantities down to the napkin color on the tables. She was a ray of sunshine and she was there to support the team that morning. She could sense the importance of the wedding and was there to make sure everything was just perfect. The staff she brought with her knew what they were doing from unloading to serving to tearing down and packing up. They were amazing and left everything in perfect condition when they left. Kudos to the entire team. What a wonderful experience the team provided us. I would use Brothers Signature Catering & Events again or refer them to others. They are just fantastic. “Tiramisu cake was top notch! Viking cake was super rich, but still delicious. Paired with red wines and vanilla bean ice cream. Ice cream came out first, cake about 3 minutes later, but wines were delayed quite some time. Service was fairly slow, but staff were extremely friendly and obviously hard at work. Huge portions! Recommendation: a garnish or side of strawberries with the Viking cake.“

“This place is excellent! I probably eat here or order out at least once a month and have done so for the past 2 years. Their picanha steak is delicious and cooked perfectly every time! I usually order the coxhina and polenta to go along with it as well. Their french fries are also always fried to golden perfection too! Crispy and delicious 🤤. If you want some high quality and delicious food that doesnt break the bank then definitely come check them out. They're all really cool here too and when you're there they treat you like you've known them your whole life ❤“

“Awesome sandwiches and service!! We had Ike’s cater a tray of sandwiches for a co-worker’s retirement and they were a big hit! And the manager was super friendly and service was fast. Wish I had taken a photo of the nice tray they quickly put together but we were so hungry and quickly ate all the sandwiches. Everyone loved the fun names of the sandwiches too.
