“mind you i went christmas eve night looking at the list of food options available around us, but food was ready within 7 mins and they had it ready for me. I just wish there was more sauce on my BBQ beef and that I asked for extra to take. Katsu was juicy and well cooked. The portions are large so we had leftovers of both.Parking is tricky as you need to technically go into the lot next to it, but I just parked on the curb outside to quickly run in.“

It’s a small joint if you so if you want to eat there it could get packed quickly and tables could be limited. It’s wasn’t crowded on the afternoon we grabbed lunch. Definitely a good choice to check out to eat in or order for pick up.

Parking: Small lot, off a very busy street. Beware of driving in/out of this area. Cars come in/out very fast.“

“This is one of favorite Hawaiian food in town. I decided to get their special and basically have all the meat ingredients I love such as Portuguese sausages, hula pork, beef patty and meat sauce with sunny side up egg.

Very yummy spot if you like trying some authentic Hawaiian food. Give this place a try“

“Everyone in our house used to like poke. After we found Poke Chop, we LOVE poke! They have so many options of fish and sauces and toppings. I’ve never found as big of a selection. My daughter would eat here every day if I’d let her. There aren’t many places in Hillcrest where a family of 3 can get dinner for around $30, and be totally stuffed, and not feel blah afterwards. The fish is always really fresh. The only thing that could make it better is if they added mango, mmmmm. We try to eat there as much as possible because it will be a very sad day if they close. (It’s a reality in the Hillcrest restaurant business ☹️).“

“Very cool vibe here, felt like an old fashion donut shop, with a million cool flavors. The owner was super sweet, and helped us pack a box of donuts to take with us; and was clearly super excited to speak to us about his store. Very cool experience.“

We tried the Monster Wrap and the chicken teriyaki, two very safe options but they were so delicious I wish we had been more adventurous. Oh and since you got rid of your yummy fountain and now just have standard Pepsi $2+ is a little much for a little cup of a Pepsi product .... I miss the old options that were worth the money �“

“Ok , let me tell you something…. What I absolutely appreciate is when a place of business takes responsibility. This L&L location did just that ! Long story short, I got the pineapple chicken plate the previous night. Got it home the chicken was In ridiculously large pieces. It looked caramelized HOWEVER it was hard and dry with one lonely piece of pineapple.So I call and was told to bring it back when I could. I did just that the next day.THIS IS WHEN THE GOOD STUFF HAPPENED:I go in the following day. I was greeted very kindly by Melli. I briefly explained my situation and presented her with the chicken plate. Basically she said it was no problem to replace it. Showed it to the “Boss Lady” Ashley who let me know she would personally take care this ASAP! Now things a way a business should be operating. Take accountability, apologize, fix the issue . And let me tell you …. These ladies did just that! The plate came out amazing. I was extremely please with the outcome. I came in thinking I was going to get upset trying to explain why I got unexceptionable food. But NOT at all they did everything PERFECTLY to include this plate. I will most definitely be back. “If you order a regular size Pocky, it costs about $11. Personally, I really like it. You choose rice and raw fish (I always choose double salmon), and the sauce is house sauce and wasabi citrus. You tell me what you want as the toppings. I say everything.“

“Super sweet staff during Comic-Con, it even started raining a tiny bit on the patio and they moved umbrellas over. Wish they would've participated more in the event, but it was chill. Food/drinks were amazing. Our server was awesome. Mango Lychee Margarita was delicious.“
