“First time trying poki and I am so glad I tried it here. The poki was delicious and fresh with delicious flavors. The freshness of the fish and toppings makes this place amazing. I highly recommend, I got the small and that got me full. Will be coming back again.“

“This was the best meal we had in San Diego. The staff was so helpful and kind. Helping us pick a combo and offering glasses of water. My 11 year old and I came here and shared a large bowl with extra protein and it was the perfect lunch, added POG and came to 25.“

“Love coming to this local shop in Ocean Beach. My favorite is their Furikake Salmon along with some rice. Hits the spot every time!
There's no tables inside but my group always goes to Ocean Beach to take in the views and eat. A must try for the area.“

“Great food that tastes just like being in Hawaii. Customer service was great too. Pleasant and hospitable. It’s a small joint if you so if you want to eat there it could get packed quickly and tables could be limited. It’s wasn’t crowded on the afternoon we grabbed lunch. Definitely a good choice to check out to eat in or order for pick up.
Parking: Small lot, off a very busy street. Beware of driving in/out of this area. Cars come in/out very fast.“

“Edit: thank you so much for responding. One of my favorites is Hawaiian barbeque so I really look forward to it. The barbeque chicken is really good. It's the other parts that are a little overcooked.
It's almost great, but the dark meat is almost always over cooked. It tastes like it was scraped of the grill. Imagine if there was left over grime in a skillet. It just tastes charcoaly“

“Everyone in our house used to like poke. After we found Poke Chop, we LOVE poke! They have so many options of fish and sauces and toppings. I’ve never found as big of a selection. My daughter would eat here every day if I’d let her. There aren’t many places in Hillcrest where a family of 3 can get dinner for around $30, and be totally stuffed, and not feel blah afterwards. The fish is always really fresh. The only thing that could make it better is if they added mango, mmmmm. We try to eat there as much as possible because it will be a very sad day if they close. (It’s a reality in the Hillcrest restaurant business ☹️).“

“I got the plate lunch with spicy garlic butter shrimp, Mac salad, and rice. Also tried a malasada, spam musubi, and a dirty soda. This was so good! You have to try their food. You will not be disappointed. I don't even want to leave - I just want to order more food lol“

Oh and since you got rid of your yummy fountain and now just have standard Pepsi $2+ is a little much for a little cup of a Pepsi product .... I miss the old options that were worth the money �“

“Blue Poke is an incredible option for poke bowls! So many toppings to choose from and super quick and delicious! The staff is super helpful and will guide you through, thoroughly explaining it all. Super fresh fish, great topping options and delicious sauce! You can’t go wrong “

“My friend and I went in today to try their poki and let me just say, someone who helped us out her name was Hannah I believe, kindest, most amazing soul ever. Was very sweet, amazing customer service, honestly best employee that has made my food. The poki was amazing! We loved it here.“

“Extremely clean and generous! Came in for the first time for my lunch break and they did not disappoint. The gentleman at the front served me and gave great recommendations. The pic is me half way through the bowl but the presentation was great too. Would come back again.“

“Portion is HUGE even for the regular (I did do mix greens and brown rice so the big container was used), and they actually gave 2 scoops for each “one scoop” - I’m not sure if was my lucky day or is that standard. Flavor was good even when I only asked for 1 sauce. Spacious dining room. Would come back.“

“Super sweet staff during Comic-Con, it even started raining a tiny bit on the patio and they moved umbrellas over. Wish they would've participated more in the event, but it was chill. Food/drinks were amazing. Our server was awesome. Mango Lychee Margarita was delicious.“

“Not sure how busy this place is, but I'm surprised they weren't busier. After a good workout, completed my day. Almost a hole in the wall, in a big shopping center. I wish them the very best. And hopefully more tables. To enjoy the meal! Great portions!!!! Num num num num!“
