“a southern california staple. i was excited to see what the hype is all about, and i agree. both the smoothies and bowls are great. i got the blue coconut smoothie and it was delicious!! one thing though, if you're allergic to all nuts it's a bit difficult to find something but they're really good with substitutes. also beware there will be a line to wait in.“

“Just ate here. The bread for the avocado toast and the PB&j is delicious!! The açaí bowl was brimming with fruit. Yum. It’s a small place so iit takes a little longer to get your food but it’s worth the wait. Perfect for a casual breakfast.“

“One of the best açaís I’ve tried in SD. I was craving one today and it was so good I am thinking about going back tomorrow to have another one. My toddler had one too, he’s 3 years old, he ate all his small one with fruits and came to grab mine too lol
I got mine with strawberries, blueberries, dry milk, almond butter (amazing!!) and chia pudding (amazing!!).
Staff was really nice too!! I’ll definitely become a regular whenever I stop by the mall. 🙃“

“This is a smoothie made from scoops of various plant based powders, ice and water. It’s packed with protein and is low calorie and is delicious. I had the peanut butter cup smoothie which was wonderful. Also super nice people, family owned business.“

“I’ve heard of this place and wanted to give this place a try. Service was alright. Walked in the store; no greeting or smile and no “I can help you whenever you are ready”. There was just an awkward moment of us standing there and couldn’t tell if the person was ready to take our orders or what. Anyhow not the best service.
I got a turkey panini which comes with chips or fruit - wasn’t asked which one I wanted. The panini was good but is it worth coming back? Probably not, that’s because of the service“
“This looks to be like a new establishment. I asked the host what he reccomend for a burst of healthy energy.
With enthusiasm, he gave me the Orange Starburst Drink 🍊
It had real Oranges mix in with their energy powder. It was well and tasty 😋 & enough sweetness, also I tasted the power texture but nothing bad.
It did gave me the Real kick of Enegery though!! I was feeling sluggish until I drank the Orange drink.
Overall, it's Great size for the price.
For the menu, look at the basic combo poster to not get confused.
From there, you can take a look at the other poster with the picture of the drinks to get an idea of what you are going to get.“

“Loved the Gluten Free lunch menu options at True Food SD, but if you have an allergy to wheat, please be sure to double check with chef before ordering anything. GF is not always safe for those with wheat/oat/barley allergies. Waitress had a hard time comprehending this, but chef understood completely! Amazing chef! 💖 It would be AWESOME if the owner offered Soy milk in addition to Oat milk. (Couldn’t have coffee because of an oat allergy, and they have no other cream options sadly). Overall, beautiful setting and beautiful souls working the tables and bar. I’ll be back for sure! 💕“

“This Tendergreens has that “home away from home” feel. There is great variety, the food is delicious, fairly priced, and the staff is all so friendly and welcoming. I had been away from home for awhile due to work, eating out can get old quick, and sometimes you want to avoid such glutinous meals. Tendergreens makes their meals just how I would make them at home. Simple proteins, fantastic sides, and the right side portions that won’t have to feeling like you have to get rolled out of the place. 10/10 recommend this place to any person looking for a healthy / home cooked feeling meal.“
