“They changed their vegan gardein chicken for the wings and the orange chicken entrée and it's just not as good. A huge bummer since we've been enjoying those dishes for years with no problems. The new stuff has texture issues and doesn't cook as crispy. Thankfully they have other vegetarian options and a great beer list so we'll continue going, just probably not as much as we used to.“

Good games and lots of tvs, they'll even change the channel for you if you ask nicely.

“Had such a great time at Johnny WAHOO Golf bar. The simulator has far more than just golf. I am a terrible golfer ?️‍♀️ an i was just as terrible with the simulator. But i did have a great time throwing a baseball at the screen. We got lucky and got 2 hours on a Thursday without a reservation. The bartender was so kind and friendly. Great beer and alcohol selection. Between the drinks, the reasonable price, and the different sports and games on the simulator this was a great way to spend 2 hours in gaslamp.“

“Attended a small'ish alumni get-together breakfast, about 25 or so fellas, on an early Saturday. Buffet food was excellent, very impressed. Service was superb, wait staff upbeat and happy to help us all enjoy ourselves. Bar staff were supportive, all smiling, very welcoming. Seating was generous, whole place was clean and tidy. Our separate room was perfect for our needs. Lots of parking close by, easy access and egress. As we wrapped everything up, one of the waitresses helped with the group shots with enthusiasm and expertise, wielding six cellphone cameras with aplomb and smiles, taking a half dozen pics with each phone! Also, fishing tip… I ordered too much food and we had about half a coney dog left from my nephew (not sure how with how great they tasted but we ate too much) we used it for bait and instantly got hit when the whole group was skunked all day. “We went there ON Saturday to watch the Steelers/Ravens game. Even though the Steelers lost 😕, we had a great time. We sat at the back bar and Amanda was a great bartender. I don't think my glass was empty the entire time I was there. She was friendly and helpful. Greg, the manager, was a fellow Steelers fan and stopped by to chat a few times. We ordered the buffalo wings and they were so yummy. They were good sized and had great flavor. I didn't get any of the macs but I saw one going by and it looked amazing. Definitely going back.“

It was kind of cold outside so the big windows made it feel like we could still be enjoying the beach while staying warm. We did not eat so I cannot comment on their food but definitely come here and enjoy a drink or two.
I did knock off a star for service. Our hostess was great, very friendly but none of the servers were anything to write home about. Made us feel like a burden more than anything. Didn't check on us often until a younger guy bartender/server got there on shift change. He was a lot better. Didn't get his name but younger guy with a mustache, wore a hat.. “We hosted an annual UCLA Alumni Network of San Diego event here in conjunction with the USC Young Alumni Association of San Diego for Rivalry Week. Megan made everything so easy to book and order apps for the group, they had drink tickets we could use for our guests, and guests could also order additional drinks and food on their own tabs. We plugged into the giant screens for our Game Show and they were amazing!

Everyone had a great time and I've always enjoyed the beer and food at Novo. The servers were attentive and took good care of our group of 40. Thanks to Leo, Megan, Ava, and the whole team!“

“Depending on the day you will see some seedy characters. People of the streets often frequent this bar. But it is a neighborhood bar and the drinks are inexpensive and have a decent amount of alcohol in them. It is worth it to stop by and have a drink or two after a hard day.“

“11 friends and I arrived for a pre-arranged event with a planned 2-12 lap 6 person qualifying (fast lap) and 1-16 lap main event. We arrived at the pre-arranged time and found several people on the track. We waited ~45 minutes for the first qualifier, had additional individuals on the track prior to our second qualifier, and again waited for others on the track prior to the main race. The qualifier times were to be combined, but weren’t. The main event went well, but at least one more flagger would have allowed less issues during passing manoeuvres. Complaints aside, I would return. The carts were quick considering the track setup, and they seemed to be very similarly setup regarding acceleration/top speed. A final FYI - consider bringing your own approved helmet. The ones provided were pretty much done, and additionally poor fitting.“
