“Alexis Greek restaurant up town at 3863 5th avenue. My wife and wardered in one day while looking for new restaurants to try out. We ordered a Greek salad and two Gyros for lunch. The plates are prepared by two men who have been running the place for 28 years. Reservations we have never needed and I doubt they take. It is and older building that has not changed much over the years. The service is fast, the food is excellent, and the staff are usually busy but very friendly. I hate to give away this diamond in the rough but fair is fair. Everyone who wanders in like we did 8 years ago keeps coming back as we do.“

“This Place is a hidden gem. Walking home and saw the recently opened "THE KABOB GRILL". I went in for an exquisite dinner. I had the chicken kabob- with my discount it was less than $15 for a full plate or rice, salad, yogurt and a pita. The plate comes with a grilled tomato and I requested some of their hot sauce. You should too! There is a big parking lot across the street and I was told they offer free valet.“

Since I moved to this neighborhood just over 4 Years ago (March 2019) have enjoyed bringing my best buddy "Rocker Spaniel" here on our walks. He Loved the Greek Scenery:) and claro que si the food two. Let us not forget the BLACK and White illuminati Checkerboard tiles. Rocker left us at Age 12 Dog Years on February 18th but putting his photo on my Smart Phone screen saver refreshed my Love ❤️ for this place. “This is the best Greek food I've ever had I had high hopes when I saw that it was pretty much entirely Greek looking people inside. I'll admit the atmosphere is a little stand off-ish especially if you don't blend in with the people but after some initial stares it's not bad I don't think they were expecting a couple white people to walk in at like 10:30 pm after about a minute everyone was back to their business and ignored us it was a little loud but it was pretty full too.

Now to the good part the food is definitely worth any of what I mentioned and then some this is freaking amazing it's kind of unbelievable that this hidden gem only has a 4.2 it should be a 4.5 at least.“

“We have been going to Greek Chicken for a few years now. Always a large chicken salad, pita bread, and 2 fried zucchini. The staff s always nice but we have noticed the past two times that less chicken and the tomatoes aren't cut up to the size they normally are.“

“This is my favorite place for chilaquiles verde. Best chilaquiles I’ve had. The tortillas have just the right crunch to it and the salsa is delicious. The only complaint I have here is the under staff. Took awhile to get our order in and out. Only saw to ladies serving and it was not that busy. Other than that it was great experience.“
