“Anthony's is a favorite of ours. The food and service are consistently good. The atmosphere puts you in a vacation state of mind. Because of this we held our daughter's wedding shower here. The room was perfect. Everyone had a beautiful view of their little lake. Will was our server. He was spot on. This is the best place to host a small event. There were several food options, plus you could choose a hosted or non-hosted bar, wine at tables, etc. We chose to have a hosted bar, which brought the price per person up.“

“Staying at the Pendry so went to check out the pool. Came here on a Wednesday at noon, not very busy. But I heard on Sunday afternoons, this place is an absolute party. Anyways found my pool chair. I tried to ordered an Estrella Jalisco on draft but they didn't have it. I ended up going with a Shock Top. Nice and refreshing by the pool. The server was nice and overall solid experience.“

We were directed to the Pool Bar – a delightful area outside with comfortable seating. We ordered iced tea and when we asked for the bill we were told that there was no charge. Most impressive.“

“We were staying at the hotel and with our Marriott status, we received vouchers for breakfast. Conveniently located in the hotel lobby, the service was good and the food was great. The had a good size menu with your typical breakfast items along with a handful of creative dishes. I stayed simple and ordered the Sunrise Special (choice of eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon or sausage and toast - sourdough, mulit-grain or gluten free) and my wife ordered the Daybreak Parfait (greek yogurt, poppy seeds, seasonal fruit, house made granola, berry compote). We also ended up sharing the Banana French Toast. Everything was great and prepared perfectly! Great choice if you’re staying at the hotel or even nearby!“

“This is my favorite spot to eat, drink, and dance in San Diego. I’ve had mixed experiences here due to how packed it gets. I think they could improve on how they treat customers who throw down $700 on food and give them better treatment and access to the nightclub. It was my birthday and after we spent $700 upstairs on food and we would have likely spent another $500 on drinks in the nightclub. However, they made us wait for 2 hours in line for the nightclub then asked us to pay another $120 to get inside. We were so livid that we went somewhere else. If they get more organized and give bigger spending customers priority, then this wouldn’t have happened. I work as a marketing director in Los Angeles in the nightclub scene and customers like this keep the business going. Their priorities need improvement.“

The metal balustrade could be modernised to make it feel a little more luxury and a little less police custody toilet… but don’t let that distract or discourage you from grabbing a beer and taking in the evening skyline.“

“A wonderfully relaxing place if you were in the area, Oscar and other servers, every bartender, and their host Elena, are wonderful representatives of hospitality. The restaurant and bar area are very well kept up and clean. You can't beat the views and there's outdoor fire pits as well as the comfortable indoor seating.

The food is great, not totally fancy but done well, and the menu has enough diversity to be to be interesting. You can't beat the value for happy hour from 5:00 to 6:00, but even after hours or before.... The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful, and it's a very enjoyable experience.

If you want a healthy bowl, they are flavorful with a perfect avocado fresh grilled chicken, roasted sweet potatoes and hummus. I would have loved it pool side.

The flatbreads are very generous in size, with delicious crust, and you can't beat the crispy brussels sprouts!

If you're staying at the property, there's lots of options nearby but if you're looking for a night in definitely come by here. If you're outside of the property it's a nice stop too!“
