My husband, especially like the jeera chicken and corn. I loved the Carne Asada and goat tacos. The green sauce is fabulous. “We stopped in to Monster Hot Chicken on a Friday evening and it was empty aside from one guy. The place is small and has room for about 8-10 guests to eat. The menu is pretty straightforward without a lot of options to clutter things. You can basically order a 2 piece chicken tender combo, 2 piece tender sandwich or a 1 piece tender combo 1 piece tender sandwich... there's some salad options and noodles as well. We got the 2 piece tender combo and the 2 piece tender sandwich with the spice level of Hot. My husband said he would have gone up to a higher spice level and I enjoyed the hot but would probably go down a level next time as my stomach hurt a bit the next day. We initially wanted to order the family meal but you're only allowed to choose one flavor for the entire family... some of us like it super spicy and some don't so we ended up having to order two original chicken tenders on the side so our son could eat as well. Really wish you could have multiple flavors in that, which is really why I'm deducting a star. It also took a bit of time for the chicken to be prepared, but the flavor and juiciness makes up for that. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and moist inside so it was a good combo. I did really enjoy this place, but just not the stomachache the next day so if/when I return, I'll probably go down to the mild. “My experience at Dave's hot chicken was good. The staff are extremely friendly and social and the atmosphere is warm and exiting with amazing outdoor seating. Me and my peer got a soft drink, fries, tenders, and a chicken slider all of them extra spicy. Extra spicy is like a 7/10 for me (my spice tolerance is kinda mid but better than the average). The fries and chicken were crunchy but the food is quite greasy. Chicken is heavily seasoned. We went finished the food at around 1 pm and our stomachs started hurting. Its 10:35 PM right now and my stomach still hurted. Both had an irritated stomachand I had to take medicine for the pain to go away. Overall, would reccomend to people that can take the spice and are enjoyers of heavily seasoned and greasy foods. “Dined in at 2pm on a Friday and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. I was greeted by the worker at the register. She asked if I was dining in or take out and I told her "dine in." I was seated and given the menu, plates, utensils, and even pickled radish right away. I took some time to study the menu and both workers checked in to see if I wanted any recommendations. One of the guys was very knowledgeable about the wing sauces and the menu but I didn't get his name. Eventually I gave them my order and I waited about 5 minutes and my food came out one at a time. Cheesling Fries (9/10) - The cheese powder on the fries were amazing! It wasn't too overpowering or too cheesy. The fries were hot and crispy. They even drizzle it in the secret sauce. It was very well balanced together. Rose Ddeok-Bokki (8/10) - The first few bites tasted like it needed more seasoning and flavor. The more I ate it, the better it got. It was not spicy for me and it was a great combination of creamy with a small but of tang. The rice cakes were soft and chewy. It was also very delicious overall.Secret Sauce Wings (8.5/10) - The chicken wings were very fresh. The batter was still crispy and the sauce was sweet, tangy, and sticky. It reminded me of my favorite childhood Chinese dish, Peking Pork Chop or sweet and sour pork chop. It did get soggy once the wings sat too long. Soy Garlic Wings (7.5/10) - The soy flavor overpowered the garlic in these wings but overall a really solid choice. The wings were also hot and crispy with a sweet and salty sauce. Overall, the food is 8/10. The service was 10/10. They checked in with me at least every 10-15 minutes. They gave me napkins without asking for it. I had a very pleasant experience!“

I appreciated that the cashier I talked to kindly and clearly repeated my order. I ordered the half-and-half meal: boneless kang jung and fried chicken with sweet & spicy sauce on the side. I also bought a side of coleslaw. The boneless kang jung had a deliciously sweet, savory, and spicy flavor with a few bits of chewy tteokbokki. I enjoyed how each piece took multiple bites to finish. My family also really liked the original Furai chicken. The seasoning and spices blended well to make the chicken a high-quality meal. Furai serves about 16 types of flavors, so next time, I'd order ones that taste more different for a half-and-half meal.Each box also came with a few potato wedges, but I found them not crispy enough for my liking. The kang jung box had jalapeños and pickled radish. The coleslaw side's small portion size, however, made buying it next time not worth it. My family agreed that it also tasted too salty. Complementing the order with baked french fries and rice made the meal feel complete. We didn't have any leftovers this time, but I felt really full. I don't have many comments about the ambience, but when I picked up my food, it looked cozy and clean without any customers. It even had an indoor air purifier, which I rarely see in restaurants. It was generally clean, but the table I sat at had some fried chicken crumbs and some lettuce, so it hadn't been clean, but that was my fault for not saying anything.Overall, it was decent and they do have a good amount of options. Price wise was a little expensive, but it's probably healthier than traditional fast food places.“

The workers are not only efficient, and kind and took their time as my kindergarten and second grade friends placed their own orders (in their own time and in their own way). The restrooms were clean and well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, hand sanitizer, etc. The play area was clean, the slides were dry and not at all sticky. The shoe cubbies were also clean. All moving pieces of the play area appeared to be functioning. It was not crowded, all children were able to play with relatively few problems. I've been coming to this El Pollo Loco for several years now and I've been impressed at the consistency of the customer service and food quality. It's not usually a hallmark of any fast food type establishment to provide any type of customer service beyond the minimum since hey, the food is cheap and quick, what more can one expect? But this place stood out because everytime I've gone, whether it's busy or slow, there's always a manager working the counter with a smile, even going so far as to see how you're doing. It's not surprising that the service was good, but a pleasant surprise because it has been consistently good. Also, the chicken is decently tasty and again, consistent in quality every time I order. I've had everything from their chicken meals to their stuffed Quesadillas, paired with both their spicy avocado and pico de gallo salsas, they're all delicious. Now is it the BEST tasting chicken or the most juicy chicken out there? No, but for the cost and it being fast food, it's pretty damn good, not too salty, not too dry, just a decent amount of seasoning and juiciness to satisfy my appetite. Also, if you download the app, there are always some sort of special deals going on, not to mention the rewards points actually accumulate quickly enough to land you a free meal. “Compared to various fast food places, their chicken tenders isn't as bready and dry. Flavor wise, there isn't any spices like how Popeyes would, but still 'tasty'. The texas style toast is like a brioche where it's as sweet as a Haiwaiian bun. There's supposed to be garlic butter on it, but the topping just taste like salted butter. You can try asking for it to be buttered on both side. Regarding both side being buttered, there is a "secret menu" like non-battered chicken tenders. Don't do it, it's not worth it. The meat will be dryer and chewer (also looks like frog legs). The fries are... decent. Crinkly fries in general have a bad reputation for being soggy and under-cooked - the ones here are crispy. I would give it a 5 star if the music inside wasn't blaring, and if it doesn't required playing "ninja" with the restroom's paper towel dispenser only for it to give a few inches. It would be nice if they can occasionally mop the area around pick-up. Night on the weekdays the music is quiet, and tolerable since there aren't any crowds. P.S. If you're 'green-concious', like me, this place will make you feel guilty. Even if you order dine-in, often it'll come in a plastic take-out box. When the person ahead get their order in a reuseable tray, RNG can still have your order put in a to-go box. Idk why. Btw You can maybe make friends there. On a Sat there's usually two different groups of people: one playing TCG and another playing Catan for possibly 8 hours (I once came back for a refill and they were still there).“

I ordered the 10 piece soy garlic wings. The total came out to about $20. Price is a little steep for wings. Surprisingly, the order came with about 5 potato swirls (imagine well done steak fries). The food overall was pretty good. Wings are made to order. The wait was about 15 to 20 minutes in the afternoon. I requested the sauce be tossed with the wings. This made the sauce slide off the wings and all over the bottom of the foil, so I recommend asking for it on the side. Overall, it was pretty good! Just a little steep in price. We would get again!“
