“If you're not familiar with us, we're "Dining with The Davids." We go to restaurants with a massive group of friends (affectionately known as our "Taste Buds"). We then order either the entire menu or the chef's favorites. At the end of the evening, everyone votes for their favorites and we create a 60-90 second video about the winners.
Si Bon in Rancho Mirage is a culinary delight that never disappoints! The standout dish of the night was the mussels and fries—perfectly cooked mussels paired with crispy, golden fries made this the top overall winner. The Dungeness crab ravioli with lemongrass sauce was another highlight, offering a delicate and flavorful start to the meal. For those looking for something light, the fresh papaya stuffed with chicken salad was the best salad we tried—refreshing and unique!
To top it all off, the mixed berry and custard tart stole the show for dessert with its sweet and creamy perfection. Si Bon is truly a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in the Coachella Valley!

“This place is my all time favorite restaurant to eat in the Coachella Valley. Buzz always has the best recommendations for beer, the cocktails are fantastic, and the food is always fresh and tasty. We lived in Palm Desert for about 11 years and every time we’re back in town we make sure to come by here to grab a drink and some snacks. We love getting to see Buzz, he makes it the best place to eat!“
“The first time I went to this bar it felt like home in El Centro. It reminded me of all the regulars and cool conversations that are had. Feels like a dive bar. You might show up and someone awesome is jammin’ out. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the bar tenders are very cool. Have a drink if you’re around. It’s also conveniently across the street from the Coachella container park.“
“Concise Review Great poolside food, drinks, & staff ----- Longer Review We have visited Marriott’s Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert since 2002, and afternoons at the pool, with food and drinks from Chuckwalla Bar & Grill, are a bit part of every trip. One of my all time favorite photos is from a nice afternoon, poolside, several years ago when the kids were little... it was one of our most fun and peaceful afternoons as a family anywhere... the photos is of our daughter, asleep on my wonderful wife, my wonderful wife smiling at me, and our son was on the chair in between us, smiling as he was drinking a strawberry smoothie from Chuckwalla’s... such a blessing. We visited Southern California - Palm Desert, Yucaipa, and Malibu - for Spring Break 2021. This trip we had more activities off-property than usual, so we only got one nice long afternoon at the pool, and RebekahM made it a little extra special. The sun, the water, fun in the pool... and smoothies... such a joy. Before I had a chance to think about it, smoothies were en route from Chuckwalla... strawberry, banana, and alcohol-free pina colada. Rebekah delivered them to us with a big smile and infectiously positive attitude. Rebekah turned the fun up a notch with her dancing and smiling and laughing as she took our orders and delivered to the families around the pool... everyone was extra happy when she was around. “My wife and I went for a walk on paseo after dinner and noticed a dark stretch of bottles behind a bar. Coincidentally the owner was walking out as we looked curiously he introduced himself as coco ?and welcomed us inside to take a look around. 4 to 5 hours later we were drinking a specialty of the evening called Black Friday with a Smokey Mezcal, it was bomb and so was everyone else. We made new friends and will definitely libate again.were new from Long Beach and needed the vibe! Thanks for bringing something cool to the desert, big ups to Tina turntable ?and the libation crew for keeping it real.???“

“My husband and I love sushi. The Venue is a beautifully designed, moody restaurant on the El Paseo shopping strip. We have been to Venue numerous times, but last night was our favourite. From the moment we were greeted at the door, to our server being attentive and charming, we agree our meal was the best sushi we have ever had. Well done.“

“We got the buffalo wings and French fries! They were delicious! I highly recommend them and would order them again! It’s a nice area to enjoy the game and appetizer food. It gets kinda loud and crowded but we were able to enjoy their meal. Sadly they only have Pepsi products here.“

“The appearance of this strip mall restaurant is deceiving. I had the chicken mole and the house Margherita. The chips, salsa, guacamole, and everything was really delicious! The mole was the best I’ve had since visiting family in MX.
Great service. We went to a different MX restaurant before returning home to Seattle, and I immediately regretted not returning to Guierrmo’s! Don’t make the same mistake I did. I will long for the food here until our next visit.“
“Just attended their annual October Halloween Roundup Rally! Camping area is nice, but not extravagant, mostly power and water sites with a dump station on your way out! But their people are awesome and fun! We had corn hole, and shuffleboard tournaments, Bunko and cribbage games! Feed us every night with great food, open no host bar and the best French fries you will ever eat! Love this facility and the people, will definitely go back next year!“

“I had the pleasure of visiting this casino on Friday 3-14-25. Wow what a great time, both my wife and I had a great experience. The staff were very nice and courteous to us both. The two ladies that worked in the players club , were particularly kind, they signed us up and told us all the advantages of being a member. I can't remember their names but they worked around 10:00 a.m. .I would really recommend this casino to anyone , that likes casinos without all the noise of simular places.“

“I usually go to the Palm Desert location, which I love, but decided to try the La Quinta location. It was awesome and the atmosphere was a little more cozy. I love their Napa Valley pizza and the green beans for an appy are always a good choice.
We have to give credit to Rick (who works there) that we unexpectedly met at a local grocery store the night before, who encouraged us to try the La Quinta location! ?“
