“I usually go to the Palm Desert location, which I love, but decided to try the La Quinta location. It was awesome and the atmosphere was a little more cozy. I love their Napa Valley pizza and the green beans for an appy are always a good choice.
We have to give credit to Rick (who works there) that we unexpectedly met at a local grocery store the night before, who encouraged us to try the La Quinta location! ?“

“The service is exceptional. The ambience is dated and needs to be remodeled, more like the 1990's. The food is exceptional. The Kobe Burger and fries and were done and very tasty. My friend had the Duck Confit which was plentiful and seasoned perfectly. The table bread was la French loaf and very fresh. ONLY ONE ISSUE. IN THE YEAR 2025, GENTLEMEN CANNOT WEAR A HAT IN THE RESTAURANT. MY FRIEND HAD ON A 'NEWSBOY CAP" AND HE WAS ASKED TO REMOVE IT. IN ALL WAYS, THEY ALLOWED CASUAL DRESS. THIS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED HOW WE FELT ABOUT THE RESTAURANT. COM'ON THE BISTRO, GET TO THE 21ST CENTURY.“

“The ambience was nothing short of magical—an elegant space with lighting and décor that made me feel like a mermaid dining under the sea. The sushi melted in my mouth, filling my palate with clean, smooth flavors; every bite felt otherworldly. The salmon sashimi was perfectly tender, paired with an exquisitely light sauce that elevated its freshness. The signature Venue Roll was truly a work of art—an array of flavors and textures coming together in a delicious symphony. Sou-Chef Yessika was absolutely lovely. I admire seeing such a talented, beautiful woman leading the craft with confidence and grace. I am not easily impressed—or perhaps I should say, my palate rarely is—but this experience was one for the books. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and made the evening all the more special. I look forward to meeting the executive Chef Engin. His staff spoke highly of his skill and ethic! Thank you for a truly unforgettable time!“

“The summer time 3 course $36 menu provides enough choice for everyone and is delicious! Our party of 4 relished every bite. And even in the heat, we were able to dine on the patio with fans providing cooling air. Thanks Si Bon for being a great neighborhood dining spot!“
“Concise Review Great poolside food, drinks, & staff ----- Longer Review We have visited Marriott’s Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert since 2002, and afternoons at the pool, with food and drinks from Chuckwalla Bar & Grill, are a bit part of every trip. One of my all time favorite photos is from a nice afternoon, poolside, several years ago when the kids were little... it was one of our most fun and peaceful afternoons as a family anywhere... the photos is of our daughter, asleep on my wonderful wife, my wonderful wife smiling at me, and our son was on the chair in between us, smiling as he was drinking a strawberry smoothie from Chuckwalla’s... such a blessing. We visited Southern California - Palm Desert, Yucaipa, and Malibu - for Spring Break 2021. This trip we had more activities off-property than usual, so we only got one nice long afternoon at the pool, and RebekahM made it a little extra special. The sun, the water, fun in the pool... and smoothies... such a joy. Before I had a chance to think about it, smoothies were en route from Chuckwalla... strawberry, banana, and alcohol-free pina colada. Rebekah delivered them to us with a big smile and infectiously positive attitude. Rebekah turned the fun up a notch with her dancing and smiling and laughing as she took our orders and delivered to the families around the pool... everyone was extra happy when she was around. Thank you, Rebekah and Chuckwalla, for another memorable trip! ----- ----- -----“

“This place is my all time favorite restaurant to eat in the Coachella Valley. Buzz always has the best recommendations for beer, the cocktails are fantastic, and the food is always fresh and tasty. We lived in Palm Desert for about 11 years and every time we’re back in town we make sure to come by here to grab a drink and some snacks. We love getting to see Buzz, he makes it the best place to eat!“

We grabbed some drinks and headed to the back lounge, where the atmosphere was lively, the music was on point, and the energy was great. Perfect spot for a fun night out—will definitely be back!“
“The Red Barn is THE place to grab a cocktail with clients, friends or anybody. The Barn is chic and sophisticated with great spots to take photos, enjoy the live music or people watch. “Just attended their annual October Halloween Roundup Rally! Camping area is nice, but not extravagant, mostly power and water sites with a dump station on your way out! But their people are awesome and fun! We had corn hole, and shuffleboard tournaments, Bunko and cribbage games! Feed us every night with great food, open no host bar and the best French fries you will ever eat! Love this facility and the people, will definitely go back next year!“

“Had a fantastic experience at the Hideout yesterday. We couldn’t get a table at another restaurant for an hour so while we were waiting we walked around and saw a guitarist setting up at that Hideaway. They let us know that they opened at 11:00, but the waiter arranged for us to sit in the patio and got us drinks while we waited for a few minutes. The food was very good, my burger was the best burger I have ever had and it came out as ordered (no bun/no cheese). I chose a drink off the menu (Strawberry Mule) and ordered it as a mocktail, refreshing and delicious. The service was delightful and the music lovely. Definitely going back.“

“Went to a 5pm fundraiser. Clearly they let an entire restaurant in early. There was not one seat available at 5. It was already maxed out with people wolfing down appetizers and wine with not one seat open. Not Cool. Clearly the good Ole boys got the we will let you in early memo. Too much competition around El Paseo to ever go back.“
