“Absolutely loved our visit to Ivy Juice Bar in La Verne. They serve açaí bowls, smoothies/shakes, fresh juices, and even some small bites. Everything is made with real ingredients you can actually taste; no artificial flavors or overly sweet syrups — just clean, honest, and tasty blends. The ambiance is also great. Inside is cool, clean, and inviting. Whether you’re dropping in after a workout, meeting a friend, or just looking for a place to chill for a bit, you won't be disappointed in stopping here.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly welcome, which set the tone for the entire experience. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They are super kind and helpful with recommendations. You can tell they really care about the quality of what they’re serving. They even had a poster in front asking what you were grateful for and left markers for customers to write their answers. It's the little things like this that set small businesses apart.

We tried the Machata, Owner's Bowl, and one more drink, but we forgot the name of it (it had spinach). All were fantastic!

The Machata (matcha meets horchata) was amazing - creamy, refreshing, with the perfect balance of earthy matcha, cinnamon, and light sweetness. This one really hit the spot. If you're a fan of matcha or looking to try something different, don’t skip this!

The Owner's Bowl (açaí and coconut base, granola, oats, peanut butter, strawberry, blueberry, banana, coconut and agave). Wow — just wow! It was visually stunning and absolutely loaded with fresh, vibrant ingredients - from the fruit to the granola on top. It was the kind of bowl that makes you feel good about what you're eating, but also totally satisfies your cravings.

I had been meaning to come in for some time and support them because I had been following their Instagram page since I had been to their other location and I have seen them go through a couple of break-ins and other setbacks at this new location, including recent construction in the parking lot that affected foot traffic and, of course, business. Because the staff is made up of a lot of young adults who depend on this income, the owner got on social media and requested for customers to come in and showed the route you could take from the street, through the construction, to easily find their front door - so she wouldn't have to cut hours for her staff. This owner REALLY cares about her employees.

Overall, this place is a gem. It’s the kind of small business you genuinely want to support — great people, excellent products, and a real sense of community. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. If I could afford it I would probably go here every day. So yeah, I HIGHLY recommend.“

“Very friendly service. This place gets really busy on a Friday and Saturday evening and the staff handles it wonderfully. Food is also very good, one of a few places that serve kizami wasabi. Our favorites include the beef udon, energy roll and the sashimi platter.

Drink specials always on point. Plenty of parking.“

“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“Well, food is excellent, I was there for breakfast, was my first time there. The choices were great, I ordered from a specials menu… delicious, I had one scrambled egg, cooked to perfection, hash browns, sausage… all very good. I was there with a couple of friends, they each got omelets. Service wad quick, and friendly. Very attentive. Great music from the 1959’s… it was playing in the background. “Started going here as a child with my parents I’ll be 58 this year. One of my most favorite places the bean and cheese burritos have always been the best their salsa is wonderful and the taste and flavor has never changed. That’s what I like going and knowing it’s always going to be great!!“

“I’ve been dining at Warehouse Pizza for a while now, and it never disappoints. It’s a fun place with a classic, old-school pizzeria feel that’s full of energy, arcade games, TVs, and outdoor seating. The pizza itself? Absolutely delicious.

On our latest visit, I brought my brother, wife, and daughter. My brother had never been before and has heard a lot about it. We ordered a small cheese pizza for my daughter and a large half-special/half-veggie to split in addition to some cheese bread and a salad. The salad was fire. They use the perfect cheese topping that hits the spot (and let’s be real, you can’t really mess up a Caesar salad). The cheese bread was tasty too - a little peppery, but really good. And as always, the pizza was fantastic but use caution: it’s piping hot when it hits your table. Trust me, I’ve learned that lesson the hard way. Let’s just say my mouth was “crustfallen” after that first bite.

That said, there are a few caveats to keep in mind: They don’t deliver, it’s cash-only and the plates and utensils can be… well, let’s just say less-than-sparkling. We swapped them for paper plates and plastic forks, and I highly recommend you do too. You can thank me later.

“We have been coming to The Habit since they opened. This one in particular under manager Manny is amazing. Today we had veggie burgers and they made them to perfection. I will say I miss the thin and sliced cucumbers from years ago. The onion rings were crispy. Lastly, their Pepsi is Wow! Please do whatever you’re doing and not change that machine. We are a coke family. However, the Pepsi here is incredible.

“I was so pleased with both Brittany and Alonda tonight at my location in La Verne, CA. Normally I have to ask for more toppings (and have even gotten rude looks when doing so), but this time I did not. It was so nice to not have to ask after only getting a few slices of meat, a few slices of the veggies I get, etc. they were both very kind and professional. “The owner was a very nice and friendly gentleman. Not sure who the young lady was behind making sandwiches but there was awkward silence before he came out from the back to greet me. My humble recommendation is it would improve the experience to train all staff to speak to all customers that walk inside the store. Acknowledgment is huge even if to state “hello there someone will be right with you shortly” adds a nice elegant touch. IJS my 2 cents. Otherwise the food is great! Thank you!“
