“This is my husband and I's favorite poke place ever. We've tried a ton of places throughout OC and on the east coast & this place is definitely the best. The family that runs it is always very nice when we come in and the food always tastes fresh. Also, The place is always VERY clean which is super important to me when being served poke. 10/10 recommend“

“Love this place. I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed it as I’ve been probably 60 times since I found it! I will say here and there sometimes it is inconsistent with the amount of sauce you get based on who is serving you, but otherwise the team is always really friendly and super quick!!!

The fish/ingredients are always fresh and flavorful.

“First time experience this morning was truly life at its best. It is definitely not cheapest place to eat but the quality is well worth it ? I have found my guilty pleasure breakfast spot I ordered the spicy chicken and bacon waffle holy lord Almighty was this an absolute treat I have never had a breakfast make me rethink my life decisions.

“This is my first time there. I ordered the poke, salmon only, with greens and no rice, mini size(?) There's plenty of salmon, it comes with my favorite seaweed. I was surprised how good it was. Parking is usually very scarce during lunch. I don't remember seeing seating inside as it is a very small place. Again, seating outside is for all the restaurants in the center. It may be hard to find a table. Definitely going back again.“

“Super fresh, smelled clean inside. Owner is quite friendly and really cares about making a nice bowl.

Got the large bowl with brown rice, and a selection of great sides and toppings. Not *too* many, but each one worth considering. Flavors and spice level were spot on, not too salty or sweet, which highlighted how good the fish choices are.“

“Umma’s K-BBQ is a fast casual Korean and Hawaiian influenced restaurant located at the corner of Trabuco Road and Bake Parkway in Lake Forest. The plaza is anchored by a McDonalds and Starbucks and there is plenty of parking available except during peak hours. Their menu is fairly extensive and even though you can dine in the outdoor courtyard, takeout is the way to go.

With a combination plate, you can enjoy 2 proteins with choice of base and 4 side orders. I opted for the kalbi and spicy chicken and they did not disappoint. I also tried the spicy pork but it was unfortunately on the dryer side. White rice was my base and I chose cabbage salad, spicy cucumber and a double order of chapjae glass noodles as my side dishes. I also sampled my wife’s kimchi and mac salad which were just as tasty as the other sides. The best parts of our experience were the generous portion sizes and the exceptional service provided by the young man behind the counter. We’ll def be back!“

“Easily my favorite poke spot so far. They're so fast at taking your order, so know what you want before it's your turn! Also, the tuna salad is crab mixed with tuna, so if you're like me and like crab, get that plus the extra crab ?“

“This small, window-order restaurant has some of the best poke in southern California. There's usually a line, but it moves fairly quick. They have a few tables outside, but I recommend taking it to the nearby Pines Park and enjoy it with a view.“

“I ordered off the kiosk because the line was long af. It said I'll get my food in 20 minutes. Was kinda worried because I took my insulin already. But food came out in a little less than 15 minutes. Portion was huge! Ordered the mini katsu.

These guys handled the rush fast.

“I really like this place. I have taken friends here and they all like it. The rice bowl or sauce and the meats are really good. The potato macaroni salad and other sides and the sandwhiches. Basically anything on the menu i like. This older asia man i think might be the owner was there more around september or so i havent seen him the past couple times ive been there. He is very friendly and personable. One of the cashiers the past couple times is good but he needs to stop wearing earbuds unless its for a hearing reason. He seems disinterested and always asks to repeat myself. And he is playing video games on his ipad which im not attacking but no one wants to feel like theyre interrupting the workers who are meant to provide service to them and i know this from experience since i have worked in cpunter service before. But im not trying to trash him just giving feedback. Great job guys thank you, it is the best affordable place to eat near saddleback college. Much appreciated in Jesus name.“
