“You gotta tried the fried steak. We had breakfast here yesterday at the famous Woody's Diner. I had not been here in a while, but we stopped here and had lots of fun. I got an Omlette with a fried steak and Orange juice. People are awefully nice here. Nice place right up on the the beach. This could be my go to spot.“

Beautiful, relaxing view of the Pacific paired with a classic shake or malt and diner type eats.Highly recommend parking towards the north end of Crystal Cove State Park and walking either the cliffside trail or beach and enjoy the sun as you walk down towards Shake Shack. And that you try to come when it’s not so busy. This way you don’t have to wait in a ridiculously long line on PCH for a lot that has a dozen parking spaces. The food is pretty standard and most people come for the great shakes. The Date shake seems to be really popular but I’ve yet to try it“

“Our waiter Lam was wonderful from the moment we were seated. She brought a lot of energy to the table. If I'm back around this area, I hope I get her as a waiter again. The food was also fire and it hit especially since it was early morning food.“

“I came at about 4pm on Thanksgiving Day to pick up 2 full turkey dinners from Denny's in Dana Point. I honestly wasn't expecting much because it's Dennys right? Given the choice, I think most of us would prefer a Thanksgiving feast prepared at home and with love over just about anywhere else. But that was not the case this year. No turkey in the oven roasting all day, filling our home and senses with savory thoughts of quenching our appetite with home-cooked turkey, mashed potatoes and everything else so wonderful that would be set out on our table.And pumpkin pie for later of course!So I entered the door to Dennys, handed my on-line printed confirmation page to Damon who turned out to be the restaurant manager. He was warm, cheerful,and welcoming. And I don't know about you but it seems to me that customer service isn't as much of a priority as it used to be in our country. Jose completed my transaction with the same genuine warmth I felt when I walked into thru the door. I waited all of about 3 minutes and went home to have dinner with my family. I'm not going to lie, this was not Mom or Grandmas special home cooking but it was pretty darn good. And the best part about it is I didn't have to go home and prepare all of the frozen food that came out of the bags nor I did I have to wait 3 or 4 hours for the food to thaw and then attempt to have the turkey and all the sides ready and hot at the same time. There was minimal reheating and more than enough food to go around, though I did order extra mashed potatoes just to make sure!I was more than pleasantly surprised and just the fact that I was treated with such kindness made everything taste even better. It was pouring rain all day and the staff at Denny's on Del Obispo in DP worked their tails off all day I'm sure. But at the end of the day they still found time to help make sure I had a very good dinner and an experience that will bring me back in the future.Thanks again Dennys!“

“When you need a hearty start to the day and a standard breakfast menu, diners are typically the best option. Ruby's has good service, good food and we didn't have to wait too long for our meal on the day we were there. I had a veggie omelet, and he had corned beef and hash. Both were good.“
