“What a fabulous place. Went there to celebrate mutual birthdays with my BFF. I loved everything about this restaurant. Our bartender was fabulous, our meal, Branzino.. delicious, eye appealing, beautiful presentation and enough to split We met the owner who spent ample time with us as we asked questions about his journey opening the location, his background and the concept/vision for the restaurant and we met the GM. I loved the ambiance, open and welcoming and they have a mercado with authentic product. Next time I'm going to the pizza bar with some more birthday girls!“

“Delicious! I am a Brit and finding good curry here is hard, found it here, got takeout. Ordered couple things to try and love real spice so got spicy chicken vindaloo, spicy chicken curry, medium chana masala and garlic naan. Enjoyed each dish, great quality, flavor and spice. First ever salty Caesar salad dressing and croutons, too disappointing and unhealthy.😞 I've informed Diane, our server of the way too saltiness of both Caesar Salad dressing and croutons and she reassured me that she will inform and let the owner know about it. I hope Diane advised the owner.“

“Nice visit here, this was my first trip and was happy with the experience. The meal was pretty tasty, the presentation was dreadful but I was happy with how it tasted. The service was fantastic, the receipt says Edward was the person I dealt with and he was super friendly and helpful. UPDATE: I returned to this location and ordered the firecracker crispy shrimp with brown fries rice and wow this was a great dish. Again, Edward was super helpful and gave great service! I will say however the restaurant smelled a bit off today. (I’ve been in a lot of commercial kitchens and I know this smell well.)“

“Granted, it’s been 17 yrs since I lived in Laguna Niguel but the fact I am writing this review should tell you all you need to know. This place was THE PLACE our friends and my wife and I would take our kids after every sporting event. The kids had a blast playing games while the adults enjoyed a cold beer or glass of wine. Then, THE PIZZA!! Ballpark’s pizza is OUTSTANDING. EXCELLENT crust, sauce, and toppings. Nothing is skimped and EVERYONE was happy. I have visited on my occasional visit back to LN (if I’m within 60 miles of Laguna I WILL go to Ballpark Pizza)!

Anyone reading a negative review on here about Ballpark, PLEASE remember that there are people in the world that live to complain. “We are in the city of Laguna Beach. Stopped a this place to have dinner. Great sandwiches. Had a Turkado and pastrami. Pricing was very, very reasonable! Highly recommended if you are in the area. This would be my new favorite place if it was in Riverside.

“Best fish tacos I've had in the inland empire. Place is always crowded but the get your order quickly and your food out fast. They have 3 ways to order your fish taco, blackened and ensenada style are my favorite. Definitely the best white rice ever. So much flavor! Lots of toppings and salsa to choose from in their help yourself condiments bar.
Having their pico de gallo is a must. I eat that stuff with a fork! So good.
They do offer other Mexican food if you're not into fish.
Enchiladas, tacos carne asada and such. You choose the type of beans that you want both are incredibly good I usually go with the black beans with my fish tacos but the pinto beans are amazing too. The presentation of the food looks extremely nice too I wish I took a picture.
They waste no time in cleaning up your table the second you're out the door for more people to sit down.
The place is clean, loud, and has a great atmosphere with many big screen TVS. They serve different types of beer and all you can drink sodas.

Parking: There's only a couple of spots in front of the restaurant but plenty on the side and more in the back. Parking is never an issue and there are two ways to enter in case you park in the back North side .

Kid-friendliness: This place is for everybody some people bring their whole family a lot of times it's just couples. Fire departments are there all the time and police officers are there all the time it's the place to go.“

“My family and I usually love Jizake and have been to this place multiple times over the years. However after last nights dinner not sure if we will come back. The first issue is that the server forgot to bring us 3 of our appetizers. I also noticed that my hot sake wasn't very hot and that they have trimmed down the size of their rolls. During the meal it became obvious to all of us outside that they were using a wifi speaker and whoesever phone it was hooked up to must have been moving around since the music was going in and out. Lastly while asking for the check I instructed the server to take the appetizers off our bill since we didn't receive them. He said he would and when he came back I was given a hand written bill with the break down. To his credit those appetizers were shown but not charged. I totaled up each line item and everything seemed correct as the subtotal was $170 with tax total should have been $183.17. However after taking my credit card he came back saying they totaled our bill incorrectly and apologized. Our new printed bill after charging my credit card didn't show the pricing break down for all the items but it appears that they added back in the money for the appetizers as with tax it came to $196.11 plus tip. By this point we just wanted to leave. After getting home we started not feeling so well. We don't usually have any bad reactions to sushi so maybe it was some sort of cross contamination issue. Either way I would caution everyone while eating at this establishment.“

We hosted an informal rehearsal dinner here on a Thursday evening for a group of 27, and everything was fantastic. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, responsive, and professional.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful shopping complex with plenty of parking, which made logistics easy for our guests. Since I live in the SF Bay Area, I coordinated the event remotely with Ken via phone and text. He was amazing—super helpful in planning a menu that fit our budget and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Ken and his team even went out of their way to accommodate one of our gluten-free guests, which we really appreciated.
The food was delicious—from the individually prepared, fresh and flavorful Vietnamese shrimp spring rolls to the hearty combination chow mein, everything was a hit. The Garlic Tofu & Vegetables were especially popular with the group, and my personal favorite was the Black Pepper Steak.
They set up a private patio area for us that felt intimate yet still connected to the restaurant’s relaxed SoCal vibe. The white tablecloths and flower arrangements added a lovely touch to our pre-wedding celebration.
Everyone in our party had a great time—great food, warm atmosphere, and top-notch service.

“Honestly I've been coming here since they first opened and have never had an issue and the staff and food has always been A+. They're very quick in fulfilling orders and will set right any issue you have with your order. The beer selection is also off the hook and always rotating. Solid lunch or dinner spot for sure and highly recommend 😋.“

Nice they have pizza by the slice, overall very good NY style pizza. The crust is very decent, but not the best available in the area (again, for NY style). Pretty sure they still use Polly-O Ricotta and import their mozzarella, which makes a big difference.

“Mendocino Farms is my favorite sandwich shop. One of the coolest things about this place is that they make seasonal entrees and sandwiches (ie. Peach sandwich in the summer time).

It has a very casual setting, but the food is very refined.

“Everything we had was fantastic. Complimentary chips and freshly made Pico de Gallo salsa. We ordered the guacamole appetizer which came served in an eatible tortilla bowl. I ordered the Carnitas Jolisco and, I must say, it was seasoned perfectly, not dried out, and topped with diced white onion and chopped cilantro. My pops ordered the Chile Verde, and he couldn't stop talking about it. And for dessert we ordered Churros, and those came with whipped cream on the side. It was all delicious and satisfying.
